I'm hesitant to try new seafood boil places because a boil can be done well and it can be done... wrong. Luckily for us, they do seafood boils amazingly well. We arrived Friday night and got seated as a table of 3 without having to wait. We shared the #3 combo which was perfect for 2 people. The #3 combo comes with green-lipped mussels, clams, shrimp, and snow crab. For sides we picked potatoes, rice cakes, and boiled eggs. Everything came out super quick and was nice and hot. It all was delicious, the rice cakes, potatoes, and eggs were cooked perfectly and the ultimate sauce was packed with flavor. We finished the whole thing and somehow had room for some dessert after, the donuts with condensed milk which were yummy. I think I found my new favorite seafood boil spot! read more

Recently celebrated a birthday here and we didn't have a great experience. Granted it was on Father's Day, and I totally understand how busy it was and the server communicated at the end that they were very understaffed. I have so much respect for service workers, so no bad blood and would give it another chance any day! However, it took more than 30 mins for us to be seated or even addressed, we stood and waited for a hostess. Our order was taken more than 20 mins after we sat, even though we were doing an AYCE. Our server was very sweet -- again, I understand! But our service really was unfortunately not good. She had more tables than usual and across different sections so it seemed she kept forgetting to check on tables more often. We were there for over 4 maybe 4.5 hours, and the food was awesome!! The seafood was amazing, so well made and fresh, and sides were very yummy. It was just overall hard to get things ordered or get a servers attention. They also ran out of some items. Our server disappeared for a while, and eventually returned after more than 30 mins. She apologized for the poor service multiple times, but it just kind of ruined my siblings birthday experience. I hope owners/managers can be more understanding of their staff and correct this moving forward as it's also not fair to them :( read more

Cajun Boil - Seafood Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

In my personal opinion, Cajun Boiled is a decent restaurant, but I feel the prices are a little high for what you get. The food is good, but for me, the overall value doesn't quite match the price. read more

The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned (ultimate), and the tea is the best thing you can get. I love the all you can eat menu.

Low rating, portions on the smaller side presentation lacking, overpriced. They use a lot of corn starch in rh sauce.

I just found the biggest seafood deal in Hollywood, an ALL YOU can eat special for just $34.99. It's available from Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM and includes everything you can imagine from wings, to mozzarella sticks, of course the seafood boil you can upgrade your boil with snow crab for $7, Dungeness crab for $9 and lobster tail for $9 and don't worry, the lobster tail is definitely THICK. We finished up our boil with a taro basque cheesecake. If you're looking to meet some protein goals and get a little messy with someone. Cajun boil is where it's at. read more

EXCELLENT!!! Do not hesitate! And don't miss this GREAT CAJUN SEAFOOD BOIL PLACE!! Wow!! And my server was Bruna, the server so many reviewers have raved about. This is a FANTASTIC PLACE!! It's located near Young Circle. I ordered: Half pound Snow Crab Legs Boil, side of fresh corn cob(2 pcs), and side of fresh broccoli (5 pcs). Totally Great!! I chose the restaurant's own Ultimate Sauce as my selection from the sauce options. I told Bruna I did not want it very spicy, so she confirmed that it would just have a slight kick to it, and it was great!!! It was Flavorful and a perfect accompaniment to not only the snow crab legs, but also yummy with my fresh broccoli and fresh corn cobs. My 1/2 pound snow crab legs boil came with the tools I'd need to enjoy my meal. A scissor, a cracker tool, pair of thin, clear plastic gloves, a soup spoon, a fork. And wipes for my hands afterwards, if needed. I loved my meal so much that I plan to go again tomorrow!! See my brief video of my delicious meal. Btw- the sauce was so good that I did use the soup spoon at the end to scoop up every bit of the sauce, and I photographed the empty metal bucket . I thoroughly enjoyed this meal, especially since I have been wanting some crab legs since last summer!! LOL. really!! Service- All the reviews I read on Yelp mentioned a wonderful staff member named Bruna, and I was fortunate to have Bruna as my server. I ordered a classic Coca Cola and this is where I think Bruna is a mind reader because she brought my Coca Cola, and she brought me a glass of water, too. I really appreciated that, since I had forgotten to tell her that I'd also like water. Mind reader! Rock star server! I ordered dessert, based on Bruna's recommendation of the coconut crepe cake, and it was rich, yet light. I couldn't finish it, but it was so yummy, I asked to take it home. See my photos to see the lovely take-out bag, and the plastic container for my leftover. The restaurant is casual and comfortable. And the unisex bathrooms are clean. This is a great place with fine service, and really delicious food! Update-I did go back the next day, and enjoyed the $34.99 3-COURSE LUNCH SPECIAL, before I headed to the airport to return home to NYC. Since I am a slow eater, I made sure to allow at least 2.5 hours for my Special 3-course LUNCH ($34.99) meal, of yummy appetizer of delicious honey mustard chicken wings, really great !! generous portion of 6 good size, not tiny, wings, half-pound snow crab legs, in the famous Ultimate Sauce, and I ordered veggie sides for additional $3 each portion, and worth it, fresh broccoli, fresh corn, and this time I added 2pc red potatoes, and I had the Nutella Crepe Cake, for dessert, my 3rd course of the meal. My server was Sara, who has worked for the company, in other locations, too, for several years. Service was friendly, and Sara handled the multiple customers enjoying lunch. A popular place, for sure. This is the kind of wonderful restaurant that makes you think...if I was moving to Florida, I'd want to move within walking distance to this restaurant! It's so good, so delicious. I stayed in a hotel that was walking distance to CAJUN BOIL, and I'd stay there again!! And I'd eat here again to try some of the other dishes, too, but I think I'd have to order crab legs again too! LOL. And that's why I like a refrigerator in my hotel room, wherever I go, because I love leftovers!! Whenever I visit Hollywood, Florida again, I'd even try to take a flight that allows me to enjoy CAJUN BOIL RESTAURANT on the same day I arrive in Hollywood!! Oh yes!! The restaurant also has other food options, such as noodles or rice dishes, and soup. Those chicken wings were really fantastic!! See my menu photos. I don't know why almost all my photos have disappeared from near my review here, but I'll try to add them again, along with captions. I believe they are still seen with the rest of photos, but just gone from being here with this review. The Cajun Boil also has other locations! Bruna told me about them, but I can only recall one, and it's in Miami, near The City Center, Brickell Ave area. Oh, there is a Flagler Street location AND a Plantation area location. See my photos. read more

We were promptly seated and served within five minutes of taking our order: I had a pound of mussels. The server was nice and friendly. The restaurant is cost and well lit. It was so good. It was served in a rich garlic sauce and was heavenly! My friend had shrimps and it was amazing too. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back for more seafood. read more

Updated review: Been here three times since my first visit and it has been amazing every single time. Bruna has been our server 2 out of 3 times we were there and she was really nice and friendly. The food was amazing, the crab fried rice... I mean I can't praise this dish enough. Combo five (1 lbs each headless shrimp, lobster tail, snow crab enough for 2) with corn, potato, broccoli and egg with mild ultimate sauce mmm so so so good. I tried the Nutella crepe cake with ice cream garnished with frozen raspberries and mint was a very nice ending to a great meal. Worth the drive from boca all day!! read more

I was craving crawfish etouffee and this was the first spot that popped up. It's one of the newer establishments in the downtown Hollywood area so I decided to check it out. It's a cute and quaint spot. They do not have a full bar, mainly wines or frozen slushies drinks so I opted for a sangria. It was ok, it was just wine and fruit, no brandy or tequila. I ordered the crawfish etouffee and was a little disappointed. I was expecting southern, Louisiana style but this was more tomato based and not a lot of flavor. While the presentation was great, the crawfish on top took away some of the appeal for me. The sauce was a little bland and gritty - not like a roux. Overall, it was ok but not what I was looking for read more

4 plus. It would be a 5 star if the crawfish were bigger , but I'm guessing that's a seasonal thing. Delicious food, friendly service and nice ambiance, all at a reasonable price.i can't wait til they open one near me in Miami Beach. read more

Craving some Cajun Boil while in town. Might as well see if it's as good as the places in Denver. The place was empty but was a great atmosphere. Service was prompt and attentive! Ordered shrimp head off because I didn't want the extra work with sausage, hard boiled egg. they don't have scallops . We really wished they had scallops but oh well. We got their house sauce and hot. Could have gone up one more but a new place you are never sure. Great flavor but the sauce was so hot you can't touch the food for like 10 min. read more

It's ok for the location and price point. You won't be blown away like some more authentic seafood boil spots but again not bad

Dining inside closes at 10. Website does not disclose this. Arrived at 10:02 and would not make an exception. Literally no one in the building. Made my son order to go and eat outside on sidewalk. read more

While visiting for a conference, coworkers and I were craving seafood boil so we decided to check out this spot that was near our hotel. No reservation was required and was able to get seated right away for 6 people. The staffs were very friendly and attentive. We ordered a couple of apps (the crab cheese roll and fried rice were delish), individual seafood boil combos, and a bucket of sapporo. I customized my seafood boil and got a pound of crawfish (some were really big) and 1/2 pound of shrimp with head on, and added sausage and corn (they didn't allow some of the options to be ordered by 1/2 pound). Got it with the ultimate sauce with a medium spice level which was perfect. My seafood boil wasn't piping hot but a couple of my coworker's boils were. We were all satisfied and enjoyed our dinner. Definitely recommend checking it out if you like seafood boils! read more

Was look for a seafood broil place with a fun environment and good trusting food. This place is exactly where it is at. Seafood has amazing price and portion and their house sauce is extremely taste. Aside from a good broil with crab, crawfish, shrimp etc. They have amazing fried gator and fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Our serve Bruna was amazing and so attentive and although we came in at about 9pm and they closed at 10:30 they tended to us and did not rush us and even let us put in a close to closing order for desert. The fried thai balls are amazing and we will definitely be back. Price quality and quantity on top of great service. Will be recommending to anyone especially considering friendly and helpful staff is a big factor. We'll be back Cajun Broil. Thank you Bruna and the staff!! By the way the lychee and mango drink is a 10/10. Must get!!! read more

Cajun Boil - Combo #2 with crab shrimp and crawfish - Seafood Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Was in the area for the Hollywood art festival so I decided to give this seafood boil restaurant a try. I've seen other locations too so they're in a lot of areas but this one is conveniently located near downtown. I got the combo #4 (shareable between 2 people) with the ultimate sauce on medium level. If you can handle the kick, I'd say go "hot" instead although our server did say if it's not as spicy as we'd like, they offer cayenne pepper on the side. Tbh you're going to have leftovers so that's a plus. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. Our server was nice and the food came out FAST! Definitely would recommend read more

THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I would definitely order again! The only thing I didn't like was the price. My food was about 62$ which I thought was very expensive for 1 cluster of crab legs and 1lb of green mussels & 2 corns. read more

Our first time in Miami and we wanted to try a seafood boil for dinner, Cajun Boil did not disappoint! Parking is limited with the small metered parking lot. Our server Bruna was super kind and patient with our large group of 8. We tried everything- oysters, coconut shrimp, fried gator tenders, crab fried rice, muscle, shrimp and snow crab boil with corn, sausage, potatoes and broccoli. We even got a Nutella crepe cake. The portions were very generous and well priced! Everything was seasoned perfectly! Will definitely return if we're ever in Miami. read more

Overall the food is always good at Cajun Boil, I've been to three of their locations and they are all consistently good. The service is always great with the attentive staff, the ambiance is that of a diner feel, with the paper covered table and non formal style. All of which works!
