Apple strudel

We stopped in for a cold drink and snack while visiting the palace. It was a steep climb to the top but the views were amazing. The staff were fine but a little standoffish and not very attentive. The apple strudel was delicious.

This was a Amazing stop in Vienna early morning coffee and the whatever it's called was incredible the view over the grounds and Castle in the distance Absolutely Incredible A Bucket list box. CHECKED!

After climbing to the top of the hill behind the palace, decided we needed a little snack so we popped in to the charming cafe for a pastry and two glasses of wine. It's a beautiful spot with a high ceiling and bright interior. The cafe also serves breakfast and light meals and prices were surprisingly good too, unlike attractions in the US where captive concessions price gouge. We took a nice break had two glasses of wine and shared a pretty Mozart tart chocolate dessert and paid only about 15€. Service was pretty quick so you can get right back to your hiking around the park or picture taking. A nice spot for a break.

Vienna's most beautiful café! Perched on top of a hill overlooking Schönbrunn Palace, the view from Gloriette Café is truly spectacular. Food was great -- goulash was delicious and the Sisitorte was a decadent delight! Service can be better, but I'm still giving it a 5-star. To me, it's just the way things are in Europe. Generally, the waiter will come to your table, flip a notepad and ask what you want, leave, come back with your food and bring the check to your table when you ask him to. Don't expect the same great service you would get in an American restaurant .

Clear soup with pancake. Good flavor and simple.

For a simple lunch, this spot is great. On a rainy day, walking through the gardens wasn't ideal so taking a break here late afternoon was not too busy. The clear soup with pancake was a nice break from all the heavy Viennese dishes and the ham and cheese toast was basically grilled cheese with ham. Simple and easy. Prices are decent from around 4€ to 7€ for those two dishes.

Yelp And the signs all say they are open till 7pm but they've been closed a while now and it's 6:30pm

Great view on Schönbrunn Palace from the Café where to get some refreshments after the hiking to get there. Service is good and drinks and food are not too overpriced. I had a good apfelstrüdel enjoying the view.

Pretty sure this was the Aperol Spritzer. White wine with Spritzer and a slice of orange. definitely recommend

This place is great! It's a bit of a walk but it's worth it. The food is good but the view is even better!

The food was surprisingly fantastic. Being a museum restaurant, I didn't expect much, but it was great. I had some cheese covered crepes , mom had salmon, and my girlfriend had the goulash. All were great. The dessert was a little plain, but only in comparison. And all was reasonably priced.

Great service, good coffee and you should see the cakes! I loved their schwarzwälder kirschtorte! I was too amazing for words! They halso ave a wonderful eiskarte, with or without the whipped cream:)

Seated at dirty table, ¿wtf?
Boris A.

Was seated at this table, which was still unclean from previous patrons, remained unclean for 8-10 min after. Waiter(Hassan) seemed bothered to attend to us, place @40% capacity I expect better. Food okay, pricy as all hell. Only positive is the view! Pass on this, plenty of quality spots in this town!!

Terrible representation of the culture. Fake orange juice when the menu states "fresh pressed" mediocre cappuccino / espresso. #touristtrap

Tourist trap alert: 7 euros for half a panino, is this a joke? The rest of the food was okay, nothing really fancy.

If you are looking for an authentic, quality Viennese breakfast to jumpstart your day of touring at…read morethe Schönbrunn Palace, Cafe Raimann is the perfect place to try out. Only a few minute walk from the nearby metro station, it's easy to access but you can tell that this place is the farthest thing from a tourist trap. It was pretty empty when we went on a rainy weekday morning, and the few other customers were clearly locals stopping in as part of their morning routine. They have an English menu and the server spoke decent English so thankfully there wasn't any serious language barrier to overcome. The food was good quality, certainly nothing to blow you away, but that's really not what you come to a place like this for. As a tourist you want to experience the food, culture, and daily life of the local residents and this place definitely delivers on that front. Their prices are quite good, noticeably cheaper than the cafes we visited in the city center. One thing to keep in mind is that they are cash only so come prepared!

Solid cafe down the road from the Schloss Schönbrunn and great for solo travelers…read more I always feel awkward eating alone but this place didn't have that "two or more" vibe at all. As in, other people were eating alone. Made me feel better. Menus are on the table in both German and English. My friendly server came over quickly and my food also arrived before I knew it. As in, I hadn't even taken a sip of my double espresso with milk by the time my omelette was dropped off. I'm kind of mixed on the omelette. I think it could've been cooked longer. The cheese was gooey, which was nice, but the actual egg was super runny. Not my favorite. I ate quickly and my bill was easy to retrieve. I appreciated the speed as I wanted to maximize my time and was behind schedule as it was. Truly, a comfortable spot for a speedy breakfast!
