This place can be hard to find during the winter as it is hidden in the basement of a pretty cool looking older building. You have to walk down the stairs and at the right is the door to the Cafe. Inside the space is small and has an interesting sunken in area (see pictures on the website). The decor is modern trendy. The only way I found this place was because during the spring/summer they have several tables they put up outside. I wish this place had some type of screen that they could put up to block the view of the very busy street, and the large garbage area. It would make eating outside more enjoyable. As it was a beautiful sunny day, we sat at one of the plastic tables and chairs outside. The service is definitely five stars. The staff are extremely attentive and kind. The menu is not very diverse and is limited. This appears to be a place people go if they are offering an interesting Plat Du Jour or Set Menu of the day as that is what it seemed everyone was getting. For the price of the food, it was OK. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great. It wasn't like I walked away planning my next visit. read more
