This is the Cafe inside the Crayola Experience. We decided to have lunch here after completing the experience upon my son's request for pizza. The cafe was pretty empty, not crowded at all. The tables were spaced out for social distancing so you didn't feel that you were right up on the next family had it been crowded. Upon entering, it is bright and welcoming.
They offer a limited menu and a kosher menu to my surprise. The attendant in the cafe was a nice lady, unfortunately I cannot remember her name. She was working by herself but she was fast and efficient. She was able to multitask, restock, take orders, make drinks, pizza and greet incoming customers.
We ordered a family pizza, half pepperoni/half cheese, popcorn, an icee, the strawberry delight drink for my son, and a tea/lemonade bottle drink. The pizza is made to order and it was about $23 bucks for the whole pie. This pizza was wayyy better than expected. It was cooked well and the taste was good for a cafe. It's comparable to pizza chains but it my opinion tops some favorites. The pizza was brought out right to our table when finished cooking, so served hot, ready, and cheesy bubbly. My son loves pizza and this pizza didn't disappoint. It is thin crust and not overly saucy. Cheese and toppings were plentiful. My son enjoyed his drink as he gulped it down, I can't report on the taste but it was a hit for him. The popcorn is made with the popcorn machine so it's pretty standard. Can't go wrong with an icee out of the icee machine.
All in all, I think this a good spot to grab a quick lunch and really take in the whole Crayola Experience. If you or your child/ren are pizza fans, def order the pizza, you won't regret it. read more
