    Panacotta with wild berries

Good place for dinner. Service was very good and friendly staff. We ordered white wine bottle, spaghetti with tomatoes ( very good !) one thing I have learned is tht Italian restaurants can never go wrong with spaghetti of any kind !! Tuscan chicken was okay, small pieces of chicken with red sauce and side Salad was big enough for two. Panacotta with wild berries dessert and lemon chello competed our meal ! They have great outside seating with view - right across from planzo pitti ! Enjoyed the evening with good food and warm service no rush to get up and empty the table. As all restaurants around here they have a cover charge per person $10 Euros for two of us.

Ordered the tortelli stuffed with burata and truffle sauce. So yummy. Servers recommendation for regional wine to pair with meal was also good. Tiramisu was tasty and the lemoncello offered at the end was the icing on the cake. Great ambiance and family friendly. Work staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly with 2 young toddlers in tow. Highly recommend!

The food was quite bland with no real flavour and overpriced for what you get. And the attached photo is apparently a main meal which anyone could do in five minutes on a grill. If you are after some flavour in your food avoid this place. On plus side the staff were very friendly and nice.

Everybody rushed in this caffe when it started raining. The staff was overwhelmed. We took 3 fixed priced menus with pesto pasta and seasonal vegetable flan or tuscan chicken. Nothing to brag about except the location and a good central table. Very small space, with table on ground and first floor with very limited space (kids upstairs, not really recommended).

Great atmosphere! The food and service was like no other we had experienced in Florence. Paolo was amazing. We would highly recommend this restaurant as a must.

This was our second time at Cafe Pitti on this trip. We had to reorder the combo antipasti with truffles-yum. We also reordered the spaghetti with clams. This is a simple oil and parsley sauce but we loved it. The roast pork was ok but I wouldn't order it again with so many other good choices. The service was great!

Bland food that was way over-priced. Salad tasted like "airport food". Service was slow.

The bread was dry and couple days old. The food was unremarkable. There service was pretty bad. Kept us waiting for the bill forever.

We were just back from the Truffle festival and lucked into a chief and staff who clearly love the truffle.

This review is long overdue for our visit back in November of 2024. I was looking up Nduja recipe…read moreand reminded myself this was the place that initiated my love for Nduja sauce. American/Aussie owned bakery brunch spot by the river, such a cute little eatery. We loved our visit and though it's definitely more of a touristy spot, as most customers spoke English, the food was delicious to forgo the tourist trappy vibes. We shared a plate and added some items as we didn't want to get too stuffed on our first day of Florence. We had the Nduja Eggs plate with bacon and avocado added. Nduja is a spicy Calabrian pepper spreadable pork sauce, and oh boy was it so flavorful. If I remembered correctly, Melaleuca spread this sauce on top of a fried bread and eggs. I don't see it on the menu at the moment and it's probably a rotatable dish... but it definitely kicked started my hunt for the sauce. Since this is a spreadable pork, it's not something I could bring back to the US but I was able to find it online back home. The service was amazing and the beverages were delicious. Like many Italian places, the dining room is small and bathroom is a single small room that might require a small wait if they're busy. Didn't get to try their baked goods this last time, but definitely on our list to go back for more when we're back to Florence for a visit.

Nice to have a real brunch, not just coffee and croissant. Service was great and the place was busy but not loud. Can't speak highly enough. Go u won't be sorry!
