I have been going to this place since they opened up I wanna say 2010? Anyway! This place is full of great paintings from local artists, they've got best paninis I've EVER had, and some bomb a** quinoa salad. Great atmosphere Family friendly Chill spot Mouthwatering cupcakes Refreshing lemonades Oh and don't forget to try their salads with strawberry dressing

The Tuna Salad sandwich hit the spot! The chipotle chicken was also extremely good. This tiny, cute, and cozy cafe is such a breath of fresh air. I don't feel like I'm in Laredo anymore when I come here. They do have an outdoor sitting area which is too hot to sit in the summer, but I see myself coming back at night or during the winter to enjoy a hot latte. Every one in my group loved their food. We'll be back very soon!

I used to rave about this place. When it was downtown it was just the best. It also had a great vibe and excellent service. Now the location at Del Mar has crushed it-and I mean that in the worst way. The ambiance is just a tad below mediocre. The employees are unenthusiastic and passive at best. The art isn't changed up, and they didn't even have their chalkboard menu last I went in. (What??) The pastry selection is nearly non-existent. NOTHING like the selections the downtown location consistently had in place. The entrees are still good, and so I ordered today via Uber Eats happy to skip actually visiting the restaurant. I ordered my usual, the "Mat" which is served as a croissant sandwich. I also opted for the large tomato soup for $2 more. When the food arrived, I was very disappointed. They used hoagie bread instead of croissant and it was on a fine line to staleness. It stinks that they're always out of something. The "large" tomato soup wasn't anywhere near worth the 2 extra dollars as it was only a teeny tiny tad bigger than the small. Honestly I don't know that I'll be back.. I'm attaching some old pics I had of their chalkboard.

    Mocha coffee!

Finding the place thanks to YELP, I went here nearly every day during my week 1 Laredo work trip where they made my peppermint latte perfectly every time. You'll find yourself laughing, cringing, then laughing again at the display of mugs and artifacts with their creative sayings and IDGAF attitude. I was so captivated upon seeing it that I bought a mug from them since the message about sarcasm on the mug called my name. I may purchase another one there next time I find myself in Laredo. This coffee place was a great find. The hotel I stayed at had a tear off pad of local coffees and a self taken coffee tour in support of Laredo tourism. The vibe was great, and the baristas were friendly. I asked for a cortado which was not on the menu and they had no problems making it. That's when I know they are a real barista. The baked items are self serve and included biscotti and muffins. Every ounce of this coffee spot oozed creativity and uniqueness. There was so much to take in and absorb. Enjoyed this spot and encourage a try to anyone traveling into Laredo for work. Will definitely be back.

As an all-vegetarian restaurant, it…read moreimmediately stood out to me because I don't always expect to find places like this outside of larger metro areas. But this visit reminded me that smaller cities can have really diverse, inclusive, and thoughtful food scenes too. The menu has so much to choose from. There are plenty of classic plant-based American-style dishes, but what I loved most was the large selection of Hispanic-inspired options, including tacos, burrito bowls, and other dishes that felt connected to the region. I ordered the fishless tacos, which came with three tacos filled with soy-based "fish," purple cabbage, avocado, and chipotle sauce, served with a bowl of lentil soup. It was a massive and very filling meal, especially with the protein, avocado, and soup. The space itself was clean, spacious, and inviting without being overdone. It was pretty busy when I went for lunch on a Friday, which was great to see. They also brought out a small complimentary appetizer with chips, nopales, spicy tomato salsa, and a sprinkle of cheese, which was a fun and flavorful start to the meal. Needless to say, I couldn't finish everything. I ate the tacos but had to leave some of the lentil soup because it was just so much food. They also have frozen yogurt and desserts, plus an area with packaged products you can buy to take home. I even noticed advertisements for El Quinto Sol at the airport, so it seems like they're a well-known local staple. I'm really glad a restaurant that caters to vegetarian diets is thriving in the community, and I think it's a huge asset to Laredo.

The yogurt has that perfect level of tartness that pairs so well with the sweet toppings. I chose cajeta, banana, and coconut. It was perfect. My complaint is that it's not served with a lid or anything to keep the goodies from falling all over your lap.

You walk into a huge assortment of fresh baked goods that were no doubt delicious. We found a table and ordered some drinks while we waited for the rest of our group. I had a hot dirty chai. It was sweet and tasty, but not hot enough. I'm thinking the iced would have been better. No stars removed though because when the food came, I was blown away. I ordered the lox on sourdough and a side salad. The plate was beautifully presented. I dug into the salad first and OMG! The dressing was magical. It was bursting with fresh flavors, bright lemon zest, maybe a hint of Dijon. It was so good. I'm would order the salad over and over if I could, but salads aren't on the menu. The main course was equally mind blowing. The bread was soft and chewy, the salmon was accompanied by lots of capers, dill, cream cheese, and cucumbers. It was a perfect combination. My other complaint is that they don't open earlier, but I also don't live here so I can't be too mad. I will visit again!
