I'll start off by saying the main advantage and appeal of this restaurant is its proximity to the Tesla superchargers. I've been there three times now, and will probably continue to come in the future for a quick lunch while I'm charging. The decor is cute and service is top notch. I've always been helped very quickly in the food has come out quick even when busy. The lack of five stars is due to the paninis. The bread seems average and didn't have as good of a crust as you normally expect with paninis. I ordered the vegetarian and the sandwich fell apart. It was very wet, probably from the mushrooms, and the flavor of thyme or rosemary overpowered any other flavors. I will say that the soups are delicious, perfectly creamy and delicious. Next time i come back and try the crepes which according to the reviews shows a bit more promise! read more

The decor is pretty and has some French style. The service was friendly and helpful. But the food didn't strike me as French. I had a Poblano sandwich which was fine, but seemed more Mexico than France. My latte was weak and small. The salad bar looked OK, but not my style of selections. It's not really a Patisserie with fancy desserts or a café, but it is a sandwich shop that would probably do a good job catering an afternoon tea type of event. On the other hand, it's right across the street from the Tesla Supercharger without many other walkable options. So I'd suggest a tea and a light sandwich or veggie soup. read more

Every time I go by they are closed??? Tried again today for dinner and they had the open sign in the window but the place was locked and had no lights on. Really want to give them a try. It seems to me as if they've thought about everything here! From the decorations right down to the entrees and desserts! If I ever get married, in renting this place out for the guests of honor and our families so we can spend quality time together alongside a high quality restaurant! Their teas are addicting. This location has changed ownership several times in the last few years, but Delicatesse seems to be doing good b/c they expanded the location. It continues the tradition of trying to be a "healthy" place. They do this by offering a large salad bar with lots of cold pastas too. Not sure how healthy crepes are, but the margerita one uses fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozarella. I like to go after my Saturday morning yoga to get one of their juices, but they aren't consistent with it. I got their beet and carrot juice. It was tasty. read more

Why such poor reviews. I come to the Embassy across the street for business regularly. Delicatessen is my go-to for a fast delicious lunch. I prefer the soup with salad bar but my colleagues enjoy sandwiches. Everything they eat, they love. read more

Paninis are mediocre to say the least. Overall, my sandwich looked thin with very little flavor to it. My brother ordered one of their dessert crepes, which was very flavorful. I'd come back for the crepes, not so much for the paninis. read more

Cute scenery and delicious food! I enjoyed the crepes. I wish the "savory" crepes were a little more filling though...just a tad more! Very good ambiance and food. I like coming here - sandwiches, tea, baked goods, lasagna- they are my favorites here.

My Mom first discovered this place when she had to use the bathroom and decided to order food so as to not look like a freeloader and my gosh it must have been delicious fate!!!! The food was very very good! My Mom ended up returning without me and my sister (needless to say we were outraged!!!!!) about two more times but we forgave her becuase she was able to give us more info as to what was good to order and the best deal. So I went with her and her friend to lunch one day and maaaaaan it was even better in person! Decor was very nice, place is quaint and welcoming and the salad bar was very tasy! The macaroni salad and nopales salad were great! They have delicious teas served in a very cool container and they make a different soup and fresh drink everyday. I also tried two desserts from the dessert case, a cheesecake which was good except for a very artificial strawberry coulis, and the best was a sandwich made of two red velvet cookies and the best cream cheese filling I have ever had. I then came back the next day for a crepe and omgosh yesssss it was cream cheese and berries and it was very amazing! My Mom got a savory crepe and subbed the chipotle mayo for another (we are not chipotle fans.) It was very tasty!!!!! I would definetly return and hope to do so soon!!!!:) read more
