I was excited to see this cool little coffee shop open up right down the street. Here was my experience... I went in with two other people at lunch time. There were only 3 people already seated and ordered with two ladies behind the counter. We decided to get coffees and lunch since they had a nice menu. The ladies seemed pretty flustered with two sandwiches, a salad, and two mocha frozen espressos and that was it. I ordered first and got mine last. No biggie she forgot it and once they delivered the other items to the table I asked them how mine was coming and they told me they missed it and made it. Ok. So the sandwich came. One off the menu with no changes... no joke, three inches of bread on both sides and two slivers of meat and cheese. I'm all for bread being Italian but the ratio was way off. The coffee I must say was amazing but they were definitely not Starbucks speed but it was strong like a Starbucks. My friend and I ordered the same drink and since dining in thought we'd get the mug with the whipped cream all frothy like a yelp photo I saw...but no. We got plastic cups. Oh and my whipped cream was flat unlike my friends. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt cause they were only open a month at the time but those sandwiches need some improvement and the girls need to pick it up a bit. I will go back in a few months to see how they worked out the kinks but I'll look at other peoples sandwiches before ordering food again. ****** UPDATE ****** So this is my updated review. As promised I did go back again in late October. I am giving 5 stars because the coffee was amazing and I just got a plain bagel with butter. I spoke with the manager... She happened to be the one serving me and told me that the original girl wasn't there anymore and I happened to mention my review and she remembered it. That's when she compt my meal as she said she would on my original review. I truly wasn't looking for that when going in that day but wanted to give the place another chance. Everything here is out of control good, everything has a little special touch that shows they really care about the food they're serving, AND they deliver via DoorDash. We are staying in FL and have ordered their breakfast three times already, I don't even want to try anywhere else. Their pancakes with maple butter are insanely delicious. First time going to this place and it was really good!!!! I loved the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the place aswell! Anytime anyone left they cleaned the table immediately. The girls at the counter were so nice and friendly and they would check up on us to make sure we didn't need anything and to make sure everything was good, even the manager came to make sure aswell! Food was delicious and fresh! The avocado was so yummy! The potatoes were amazing! They cook them with onions and peppers which gave them such good flavor! This place has EXTREMELY nice people. The food is delicious and the coffee is always fresh. Get the French toast. They also make a fantastic egg sandwich on fresh bread. I took my 9 year old son there for breakfast one day so he could practice ordering and paying on his own. They were so nice to him. very fake people, you can tell they are all sad and don't want to be there. overheard one of the employees which who I think is manager saying how she hates fat people while I was on the phone in my granddaughters pocket, BUT she works for a food company. doesn't make any sense ‍. my granddaughter also told me that they fired her after she worked only 7-8 days of training and told her shes not put for the job and gets distracted easily... told her she should work at a fast food place instead. horrible people. who fires a pregnant women!!!? my granddaughter is lucky she's being so calm about it or I would have called law enforcement and sued. my granddaughter also told me that there's a lady named "vida" who she says treated her horribly the entire time, made her feel very uncomfortable and talked to her crazy and rudely. Not only can you get different types of coffee and teas, but they also make some really great breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. They even have croissants muffins,donuts and cookies .The cookies are baked fresh daily and are BEYOND AWESOME! My husband loves their Italian Subs. The staff was super friendly, polite and extremely helpful. We're definitely going back and try their smoothies and iced mocha latte's. All around good vibes at the Caffe Connection. We love Caffe Connection and are frequent customers on their rewards program. In fact headed there this morning... We usually get the Latte which has a bold yet smooth taste and a croissant with cream cheese and bacon. It is almost impossible to get a flaky croissant in Florida but theirs are always superb. The croissants are served several ways and all are great! Then there are the baked goods. We especially love the chocolate muffins and banana bread.
