The food is nothing short of amazing the owner is positively amazing as well. So nice and welcoming. Came in after 9pm after seeing a movie at the cinema close by. We were so happy to stumble on Cafe Zorba, we will be back for sure! The chicken souvlaki platter was as good as my yaiyai and populi Stop in you won't go wrong here! read more

Cafe Zorba - Chicken Souvlaki platter and a gyro Gyro Wrap - Themed Cafes Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

Very nice people, delicious food, a great location, and such a lovely place to visit!

Worst gyro EVER. Wrapped in a tortilla, with lack luster meat, too many onions, and mediocre tzzikki. And they had the nerve to charge $15. Sad. read more

Cafe Zorba - Lamb Gyro and Fries - Themed Cafes Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

The best gyro in Wesley Chapel! The rumors are true! The lamb gyro meat was crisp, and full of flavor. Definitely the most authentic taste I've found in Tampa so far. The location is in the KRATE container park mall area in the Grove in Wesley Chapel. It's a fun vibe from the outside with outdoor seating with music and the option for Hookah. The interior is more quaint with a small seating area and various drink options in the fridges. The service was decent, you walk up to the counter to order and we were served at the table we chose inside. The spanakopita was phenomenal - so crisp on the outside with that fluffy oily texture, and creamy and gooey on the inside. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this Greek restaurant, and would likely come back again for takeout! read more

The young man who took our order was the sweetest. He checked the weather for us to ensure we could eat outside due to the overcast. We were just coming for a quick bit and it was perfect. I asked for my tzatziki on the side so that's why you don't see it in my picture. It's a Monday evening so normally this place is packed on weekends so it was nice to not have to fight for a table if you just want a good Greek style meal. They have some sodas unsweetened tea and bottled waters in the fridge if you want beverages. When we came over the weekend they had a lamb on the spitfire that was SO GOOD. I recommend. read more

I have really enjoyed the Greek salads from Café Zorba in the past; however, the quantity of food continues to decline. Today, I brought my out of town visitors for lunch. The Greek Salad (now up to $15) was pitiful. It was the size of a side salad and, ...NO POTATO SALAD! What proper Greek salad doesn't have potato salad. read more

For Friday dinner, we decided to skip cooking and ordered from Cafe Zorba. After browsing their online menu, we opted for Tzatziki, the Chicken Souvlaki Platter, and a Chicken Gyro Sandwich. The order was ready in just 20 minutes, and I picked it up from the cafe. From what I could see, Cafe Zorba had a great ambiance, complete with a charming outdoor seating area. We started our meal with the Tzatziki and pita bread. It was a fantastic way to kick off dinner--the Tzatziki was creamy and flavorful, perfectly complementing the warm pita. Next, we enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki Platter and Chicken Gyro Sandwich. The chicken was well-cooked and nicely seasoned, served with a variety of sides including rice, pita, fries, and a fresh salad. The meal was delicious, and we particularly loved the Souvlaki Platter. Overall, Cafe Zorba provided a delightful dining experience with tasty, well-prepared food. I highly recommend the Chicken Souvlaki Platter for its flavor and quality. read more

I have been holding off on writing this review because I truly had such an unpleasant experience and I didn't want to write a mean review. This is located at the end of the plaza near the highway so it was a little hard to find. Even though my picture looks appetizing.. this was not yummy at all. The falafel was extremely dry. Like there is no amount of tahini sauce or Greek yogurt to make me forget how dry it was. Literally the Sahara desert has more moisture than these falafels. The fries were okay but not seasoned at all. The service itself was more disappointing than the food. The owner was present and hanging out with a group of people. Apparently this is a take away spot but it has outdoor seating, tv's, hookah and a belly dancer so I assumed it was more of a restaurant and not take away. The owner spoke to the staff and had someone come and take our groups order. The young man took orders one at a time and waited for the food to be ready before taking someone else's order.. he wasn't efficient at all. They didn't come back out to check on us, rarely checked on the coal for the hookah, and I went into the small building to continue to order things. They also don't serve coffee.. only espresso. Doesn't make sense. The belly dancer was okay. Her songs were authentic and she most of her dances were to wrong songs. All in all the owner wasn't really accommodating and really just treated the place like his man cave.. I visit many Mediterranean and Greek establishments and try to support these businesses first because we're apart of the same community. However, I can confidently say that I will not be revisiting and definitely not recommending this establishment to any of my friends or family read more

Cafe Zorba - Falafel wrap with fries - Themed Cafes Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

Came here on a random Monday night with my cousin visiting from Ohio to Wesley Chapel. This was literally the only restaurant that has some good music going and Kosta, the owner, was outside very welcoming. We went in place an order he gave us a free cocktail native from where they're from and then I tell you that this food was amazing... It was absolutely amazing so good. I can't wait to come back to Florida already so I can come here café. Zorba was wonderful. five stars I ordered the Gyro salad plate. The meat was crunchy just like I like it vegetables fresh and the tzatziki was nice and tart bread fresh so good! read more

First, watch out for them charging a different price than what's on the menu. They tried to charge us $28 for an $18 item. The food itself was not very at all. The gyro bowl wasn't fresh tasting and the moussaka meal had major issues. The eggplant layers in the moussaka were not tender at all and were inedible, and the dish as a whole tasted old. Also, the side salad it came with had no dressing. Very disappointed and won't be back. read more

There is a new owner and honestly I am completely impressed I would say it's one of the better places in the crates now. Food is awesome and good quality and the customer service is great the owner is the star of the show welcoming everyone as if it was his home. It's cosy and chill environment is great read more

Costumer service was amazing, the owner was so sweet and food was deliciouss!!! Would definitely recommend!

I had a great v time at Cafe Zorba, great music and food. Kosta was more than hospitable recommend to everyone.

Went to The Grove this week to meet up with my BFF. He lives 100 miles from me and had an appointment in town. We agreed on Greek food as he lives in a small town in North Florida with no Greek food locally. I scoured a meeting place, and knowing I'm a foodie, he took my advice on Cafe Zorba. The Grove is made up of big boxed stores, and facing the interstate were 94 shipping containers of restaurants, bars, and trinket shops. We made our way into this two-car shipping container for lunch. Small, seating maybe 10 inside. There is seating outside but no on ever wants to sit outside in August, in Florida. All the standard Greek specialties were on the menu. The place was small with one cook (it was 11:30 am). We decided on 2 sides, tzatziki and Greek fries. We each ordered lamb gyros. We were in no hurry, catching up and talking about this and that along the way, and some 10 minutes later, the tzatziki came out. Hot pitas slices and tzatziki with prominent dill stole the show. The fries were next and did not disappoint. SUPER hot and crunchy. Dipping them in the tzatziki sauce made them so much better! Our gyros were next. OMG, the lamb was perfect! Seasoned just right. Small cuts to fit several on a fork without shoveling huge pieces of meat in a wrap and trying to figure out how you would eat this! Not wrapped, just layered on the pita. We devoured our meals, adding extra tzatziki from our app when we can. We see each other often and will definitely make this place a go-to. read more

Fantastic as usual! Their gyro is loaded with meat and veggies! It was super flavorful and huge. They also have amazing desserts. Their chocolate cake is moist and rich (FANTASTIC). We have also tried their baklava and circular cake/mousse. Everything has tasted divine here! Customer service is also great here (they are very friendly) and we love the location at the Krate! We have also met the owner, who was also very nice and came over and talked with us. He made some suggestions especially for mom, who is not into rich dessert (she got the rice pudding, his recommendation, it was really good). We will definitely be back for more! read more

Cafe Zorba - Chicken Gyro - Themed Cafes Near Me - Wesley Chapel, Florida

Came here today to see what The Krate was about and after walking around the venue which has something like 29 Restaurants we settled on Cafe Zorba for some Greek food which we love. I got a Gyro and the wife got a Greek Salad with Gyro meat. We were with my mother, brother, sister in law and nieces. My wife and I both were disappointed with our meals. The greek salad was bland. The components seemed like they were out of a box and just lacked flavor. The large piece of feta cheese was the highlight of the meal. My gyro had meat that was dry and seemed like it had been under a heat lamp for a long time. While we ordered takeout and ate in the courtyard the service we received was good enough and we had our meal relatively quickly. I deduced two stars because the food was forgettable and I would not make the trip back to Westley Chapel for this meal. read more

Such a cute interior here at Cafe Zorba, it really nailed the Santorini vibes w the white walls, Blue accents and beautiful sky ceiling. It was definitely a nice ambiance with the music playing for lunch. I appreciate the seafood options at this Cafe! Often times that is overlooked but they had calamari for appetizers, fish sliders, shrimp skewers, and a couple other options. I ordered the fish sliders and loved that they were served on a pita and not burger buns. The vegetable slaw that topped them was refreshing and tasty. The calamari came w marinara for dipping and had tentacles and rounds. It advertised a side of pepperoncini but came w a side of olives instead. We also shared a side of fries which were large steak fries, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I do feel the prices were a little high but that seems to be the trend at all of the spots at the Krates. read more

Came to this place today for the first time. They have a tv in the wall with the menu on it, so it's easy to see what food they offer. You go to the counter to order and pick up to go orders. There are a few tables and chairs inside and even more outside. I got the Greek salad with gyro meat and my husband got the gyro wrap. Both were tasty, but a little pricey. The gyro meat was a little dried out on both of our meals. read more

So we were excited to try because my father in law is Greek and we just came back from Greece. My husband grew up eating Greek food and very familiar with it. Prices were way too expensive for what you get. You cannot have a good truck quality and charge like a seat down restaurant. We had to wait 30 min for food, not acceptable. I had chicken platter and it wasn't great. Chicken was kind of undercooked, which was a little scary. I think it was. At a borderline of acceptable. Taste wise was just ok. Not great. My husband got lamb gyro and he had lettuce which is not ok. Gyro shouldn't have lettuce inside. Baklava was very very mediocre. Again, I would be fine with everything if prices would be more acceptable. But for the price, I definitely wouldn't be back. So many better options around. read more

very disappointed in their tea service. Had to ask 3 times for a pot of hot water for our tea. Tepid at best. According to the staff they cannot give out hotter water. And our table was not the only table asking for hot water. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The live saxophone music was absolutely wonderful. The food was good, would have preferred more savory than sweet , but what we had was good. read more

I'm very picky about my gyros and CZ was a good surprise. The lamb was hot and fresh and they give you plenty of it. I spilled a lot on the plate and the gyro was still full. Their fries were large and crispy with a nice dash of salt. If you go to the Krates I definitely recommend giving them a try you won't be disappointed. As with most businesses in the Krates you have many pay options. And they also have a nice beer and wine selection to choose from to round out your Greek meal. read more

What an outstanding place I have to say. Its a small restaurant with nice outdoor seating and some indoor as well. I was recommended to come here by a friend and glad I did. Everything was beyond wonderful. I believe it was the owner we talked to for some time and he was really kind. Food was amazing, very tasty and fresh, hookah was fantastic, seating was great, he gave us the iPad to choose the music and enjoy our time. I had the souvlaki platter, one chicken and one beef skewer and it was great! I got no fries and more salad. It was good. We were there till 11 which I believe they close at 10 but nobody said anything and they were letting us have our good time there. They are fairly a new place but with this kind of service, it'll one a spot to be at. The workers kept coming to check if we need anything and always checked on the charcoal and if we wanted any things before kitchen closes, etc. Thank you for the great night, food, and outstanding service. read more

This was our first visit. It was just okay. I will likely not go out of my way to visit this restaurant again. When we got home from picking up our to-go order, we found that there was no (none) dressing for our Greek salad. Also, we paid $2 for extra tzatziki that wasn't in my bag when I got home. It was late and not worth the drive back to go claim the tzatziki and some salad dressing. We thought that $15.60 for a gyro was pricey. It was a good gyro, but not $15.60 good. The baklava cheesecake was tasty, however. There are other Greek restaurants in Wesley Chapel that do better. read more
