Caesar Calabrese Salad- romaine, roasted peppers, mozz, artichoke hearts. Very good and shareable!

Solid Italian food, yummy drinks, and great service! I love it here! With homey/divey feels this spot delivers excellent Veal Parm (which lasts me 3 meals), Stuffed Shells, salads, and more. I've been coming here since high school with friends and family for casual dinners and events and have also ordered catering-sized trays for home parties. Mangia! Mangia! NOTES/TIPS: **Located in the Ideal Plaza with tons of parking. Down some stairs below street level- not wheelchair accessible. **2 single-person restrooms. **Credit card fee. Cash is better. Fair prices. **Live music on the weekend.

The capellini bolognese was great. The hot Italian bread and drinks were even better. The margarita was OK and the Bourbon Lemonade was even better. My wife has the Panko shrimp and it was delicious. The sauce that came with it was even greater. They had live entertainment (@Raquel line music on Instagram)for V Day and it was great. Nice quaint place in the basement. You would never expect that this bar was where it was. They also have a Kareoke night. Would definitely check it out again. Nice find.

Our band played at Cafe Z last night and when it came time to get paid for our show I was met hearing from a woman behind the bar that she has NO cash! I advised her we were paid via Check last month. A very sweet bartender there told her there's a check at the end of the bar, she looked quite pissed hearing this. She then asked what the payment amount was to be, as I gave her the number she said NO WAY! I'm sorry, what? She goes on to tell me they don't pay bands over $250.00. Then she goes on to tell me she's the negotiator, sorry but THAT happens when we book the gig, it doesn't happen AFTER the gig is played. The WORST part is the one owner coming out and YELLING and CURSING at me... slamming his hands down on the bar yelling about having to pay us the agreed upon amount! I even showed him the email exchange showing what we were to be paid! He went on slamming his hands down yelling how my one friend who stopped in didn't even buy a 'FUCKING BOTTLE OF WATER'. I went through a bad experience of domestic violence thar landed me in the hospital many years ago, that experience took me a long while to emotionally recover from... last night having this man yelling at me and slamming his hands down on the bar next to where I was standing with such aggression was VERY UNSETTLING for me! It put me mentally back in that place where I was on the defense once again! It's not just about the money it's how I was made to feel asking to be paid for a job well done.....No one should be bullied into giving into someone's elses demands.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and we will never play there or recommend that bar to any of our friend's bands! One customer there yelled on top of her lungs doing our sound check to SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY! Very classy old woman she was! No thanks for returning there! Let's see if they stop payment

On my second visit, I tried the blackened shrimp and corn cakes, and that dish alone inspired me to finally leave a review. Every ingredient was so vibrant and delightful, with flavors that complimented each other beautifully. The sweet corn cakes combined with the heat of the shrimp and the creamy avocado were perfect. The various textures made each bite even better. My friend also loved the american waygu burger. The place was pretty packed around 4:30 pm on a Saturday, but service was still pretty quick. Our waitress was also super sweet and attentive. Definitely one of the best dinners I've had in the area. Amazing spot!!

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

It feels more like a gastropub than a bar or homey pub. It's a very welcoming spot, just a little more sophisticated than the local town pub. The bartender is amazing. From memory, there's a white sangria and limoncello-based drink that I really love, and a smoky spicy margarita or tequila type one too that I like too. The bang-bang shrimp are my favorite app and I can make a meal of them if I'm only mildly hungry (I use the lettuce as kind of a wrap). I really like the chicken diablo sandwich. The burgers are really good too if I'm feeling heartier. The mushroom and swiss with caramelized onions is my favorite bc if I'm gonna do a burger I wanna get my hands a little dirty (see photo before I demolish the presentation). Pickett's is always in my rotation whatever the occasion. It's also the type of place you could grab a bite or a drink at the bar alone, no problem. There's even a little corner of the bar that's kind of hidden from the entryway and dining room if you're feeling shy about lone wolfing it or you want a more private place to cry into your beer. Been there done that and no one will even bat an eye.

The Garlic Knots are so delicious; the knots are so fluffy and soft though firm like chewing savory (more so texture wise) cotton candy that does not dissolve. With every bite, flavoring seems to improve, especially with the soft though thicker than thinner more savory than sweet tomatoe-ish sauce. From my order experience, the mozzarella after flavor lingers with the garlic after flavor for about 30 and 40 hours. Yum, though I prefer the garlic more so than the mozzarella, all quite tasty. The establishment accepts different forms of payment. The establishment connects with a neighboring eatery, by way of a mid way pass, and both establishments offer different selections. Between both establishments are a variety of eating options, though one may need to ask about where is suitable to eat between the two, if ordering between the two. The chicken parm was pounded thin and delicious, and the orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage came with a massive portion. Also an honorable mention for the bread basket which was overflowing with fresh and hot seasoned bread. Service was speedy and friendly, holiday decor was cute and there is a full bar. Everything in my previous review still stands - it's still an interesting hybrid of family restaurant, sport bar and lounge. Since my previous review I've had some of the food and it's as expected - average to a bit below average fitting for how I viewed the place before having food. I've managed to try a burger here and was disappointed. I asked for medium-well, it was beyond well done. Dry and not very well seasoned at that. The fries were unacceptable. Plentiful but I'm almost positive these are Ore-Ida frozen fries. The bar pie was also pretty sad. It's about 4 medium slices of thin crust pizza with average sauce flavor. It seemed a bit burnt. I also got a plate of buffalo wings to share with my buddies. Again average. It wouldn't be so bad but the prices are pretty high. All of the things I've tried were $15+ and they ranged from not good to average. The bartenders do put a lot of effort in interacting with you and do well keeping drinks going but the food and the experience is a bit dicey. The locals that frequent here are friendly and have resulted in conversations which help the experience here.
