I am pregnant with a big belly and with a service to animals (due to an autoimmune disease) I came to a restaurant. And I was kicked out because of a dog that has all the medical alert documents, despite the fact that I am pregnant. If a restaurant, hotel, cab, or other public accommodation in Florida denies you entry because of your service animal, it's a crime (second-degree misdemeanor). Florida law doesn't treat assistive animals like service dogs or emotional support animals as pets. Last week was our first time at Cafe Sole. We thought the ambiance has a chic vibe, the white table cloths are a lovely touch. The bar in the center is a good space and a fun look. The food was very tasty and fresh. We will be back this weekend!! Service; busy place, yet Moti came over and asked how things are, and chatted for a bit - charming and good energy!! Literally witnessed what appears to be the owner of this restaurant berate two separate customers within 10 minutes... We ended up, leaving, heard a couple next to us discussing if they should do the same... Not sure if they did, but we sure did. Wow...I used to eat at Cafe Sole at least once a week, but after today's experience, it was my last visit. This used to be a quaint beachside lunch place, but the changes they made took away all the charm. I had the Caribbean roll up. It was served soggy and a little cold. I ate at the bar. The bartender was very nice but the owner was simply rude. If you want to hear the owner talk about politics while you try to enjoy a soggy sandwich, this may be the place for you...but not me... The owner answers with name calling...typical of his responses to criticism...he calls me a liar, but there are no lies, I stated that I used to eat there at least once a week, which is true, and yes it was before he took over this restaurant. He calls me a Karen, that simply proves how rude he is. He states that I should not listen to others conversations, kinda hard to not to hear you when you are 3 feet away and talking loudly... Other restaurant owners try to improve their customers experiences, not call them names, and ignore the facts...and yes the roll up was soggy! read more

They changed how they make the Sole salad barely any vegetables, no pita and the previously creamy, tangy dressing is now thin and peppery. Also, they removed the veggie sandwich from the menu. I contacted the establishment and asked to speak to the manager who was extremely rude and unprofessional! The only plus, the staff was very nice unlike, the person that supervises them. I get making changes to the menu but when you mess around with the ones that were top sellers, it can cause issues. What also causes issues, is placing someone in a management position that is ill equipped to speak to customers. The people that run this place need to know that if they do not care about their customers, soon, they won't have any. Very sad because I would go out of my way to get their salad....not anymore! From snapper piccata to pizza, tacos, steak frittes, chicken francese and ribs. Homemade mashed potatoes and cauliflower rice. Have not been disappointed. I hadn't visited this establishment in almost two years. I was so excited to have my husband try this restaurant as he had never been there. We sat outside, the servers were very nice and friendly. I ordered a Stella, which they were out of, but it was ok, no big deal because I was so excited for my meal. I couldn't wait for my chicken potato pizza. When the food arrived, it looked good. Unfortunately, there were no potatoes on my pizza and the center of the pizza was not fully cooked making it soggy and unappetizing. I did my best to just eat the outside edges of the pizza, but it just wasn't good. My husband got the Chicken Dijon pizza, he was not impressed. His pizza had what seemed like a full onion on it (way overkill) and a full bottle of Dijon mustard on it. It was a soggy mess and hard to eat. When the server asked if I wanted a box after seeing that I didn't eat most of the pizza, I told her no thank you and said that I think they forgot the potatoes. She apologized and said she would let someone know. We were very disappointed with the food, I am giving this a two star because the servers were very friendly. read more

I didn't even get a chance to sit down and order a meal. Today at around 12:45pm I approached one of your waitress (outside) and asked for a table for 2. She kindly said there was going to be a little bit of a wait. We said ok. The lady I take care of, her small dog and myself we agreed to wait outside-no problem. I even asked the business next door to yours, the Ear Office's staff if we could sit by their window sill and wait there until we get a table at your restaurant. They agreed. My patient suffers from Anxiety and Alzheimer's, she's 87 years old and even when her questions are repetitive, we managed to wait until a table for 2 would become available. Then when the table that one of your waitresses said was going to be assigned to us, with 2 chairs became available my patient wanted to sit down and I asked her to wait just so you would disinfected it first before we sit down. You Mr. Motti refused to wipe it down. (COVID-19) You responded rudely to my 87 years old patient when she pulled a chair closer to her standing. I asked you not to be rude, we prefer to leave. I asked you What was your name? You told me it's Joe. i asked you What was your real name? You said Joe again. I asked you I wanted to speak to your manager and you said you are the owner. I got my elderly patient and her small dog secure in my car, I turn the engine on and to my surprise a policeman knocked at my car window and asked me to get out of the car because you Mr. Motti call them to make a complain about me and you wanted me to be banned from your restaurant for a year. I found myself in total shock for why a business owner would do this when our interaction was so minimal and brief. There was no shouting, screaming, pushing or shoving; or name calling or cussing. I'm sure you were having a bad day prior to interacting with me. But really? Why? I tell you Mr. Motti like I told the policeman that took my information from my Driver License and called into the radio. Why would I ever want to come back to your establishment after been treated so poorly? I ask you Mr. Motti please reconsider and lift that ban you imposed on my good name. I am a private nurse. I have carried out every other week for the past 2 months. Always order the same thing so I can't comment on much food but the staff I have communicated with were great. Ambiance is spot on for the area and the patio is quite nice on cooler nights. I tip when I get carry out esp when there's front staff packing everything and hustling their other responsibilities too. Here as it seems all the front staff stay tending bar and tables. If there's a dedicated host, that person hustles too. I have zero complaints about this place. When we went to the restaurant to pick up our food and told the hostess that we ordered takeout but we decided to eat at the restaurant. She said it was fine we paid for our meal and she gave us our order. We sat outside in a corner with our two year old. Oh my word their Greek wraps are absolutely insane. So freaking good. I wish I lived here so I could eat here daily. My disappointment in this restaurant's new owner has reached a level that will prevent future visits. When my pick-up order was wrong several months ago, the restaurant owner provided a simple resolution requiring me to send a picture of the incorrect item, at which point the appropriate refund was issued. However, when my pickup order today contained chicken that in my view was pink to a concerning degree, the restaurant owner effectively asserted that the kitchen staff is infallible and that my concern was unfounded. Given that the owner's new standard practice is apparently the blatant rejection of valid customer concerns, my new standard practice will be to blatantly reject this restaurant as a future option. It was decent while it lasted. Additionally, anyone with a functioning brain can simply observe the owner's expansive list of unhinged replies to easily conclude this restaurant should be avoided. read more

Better than expected! My sister, my mom and I came here in May 2021 and we each got something different. My sister got the chicken and grilled veggie roll up, her comments were that the portion was large and the veggies were sautéed to perfection. My mom got the house special of the portabella sandwich! What she liked best was the fresh ingredients... the fluffy focaccia bed was delicious. I got what's featured in the photo, the chicken avocado BLT tacos. If you want a traditional sandwich but with a twist, this is the lunch you want to get!! The lettuce was crisp, the bacon was made perfectly, and the avocados were ripe. They're definitely messy but totally worth it. The value was exceptional; large portions for a great, great price. After friends had mentioned several times how much they enjoyed dining at Cafe Sole, we finally decided to join them on their most recent visit. Maybe we just got very unlucky or they just always got a good meal, but we would certainly not go back any time soon. The dinner was just one major disappointment. After enjoying the Guacamole app., I decided to just have another appetizer for dinner. $24.- for the grilled octopus appetizer. For that money, I would have expected a bit more than a fairly large mound of arugula salad with four or five small pieces of octopus. My wife didn't fare much better. The Short Rib dinner consisted primarily of an inedible amount of fatty, over-cooked tissue, no meat to speak of. I don't think she even ate one bite of it. Money wasted. The only reason we didn't say anything right there or send her meal right back was that we didn't want to ruin the evening for our friends who had been so complimentary about the restaurant and talked us into going there in the first place. read more

The owner had the audacity to approach our Kids and tell them "if you don't behave the restaurant police will come!"
