Between my first review & this one, we'd been back to Del Pesto but I never re-reviewed it. This time was different. This time, I felt the need to rave about our dinners & the excellent service we received on Mother's Day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not much has changed inside since our last visit & the restaurant is cute & clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We asked for garlic rolls but were told they didn't have them that day, but let her check, & hooray! The pizza maker made them fresh for us! The baked clams. I LOVED them. A lot of delicious flavored breadcrumbs amongst chopped clams. Perfect combo imo. My spouse had the pasta ala vodka & let me tell you, he's a pure-blooded Italian & orders this often at other restaurants. He crowned Del Pesto as the BEST! I took a bite & agree. I kept it simple. Had the spaghetti & meatballs, which are huge btw & you get 2 of them. Since moving to FL almost 27 years ago, I've never been able to find the right spaghetti & meatballs. On Sunday, I finally found it. The meatballs are perfect & look to be baked. The spaghetti is just that, but the sauce is smooth & comforting & blends in perfectly. Food was good as usual BUT waitress forgot the bread and blamed it on the kitchen. It is the servers responsibility to make sure that her customers have everything they need. Or, ordered. She continued to call me love and babe. I find this particularly insulting considering I'm 50 years older than her and pet names are reserved for my loved ones. Why would she take that Liberty? I wasn't going to say anything until she asked me if I was okay in a demeaning tone. She went on to say that she knows I'm going through something and that she will pray for me. I'm not going through anything and I'm having a great day. Just don't want to be talked down to by a server after such an expensive meal. Heavenly expresso spaghetti de Mama too die for meatballs! Wonderful personal service

This was hands down one of the best Italian dining experiences we've ever had. The food was absolutely outstanding--fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. Every dish was homemade, from the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich, delicious sauces. We had the Rigatoni Bolognese, carbonara and a pizza. You can tell they take pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen. Amazing food, incredible service, and a warm family atmosphere. We left feeling like more than customers--we felt like guests in someone's home. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and exceptional hospitality. Del Pesto has been closed for a long while. I called today and found out that while they are open, they no longer make large pizzas. I don't Particularly care for small 12" in pizzas where I have to order more than one to feed a couple of people. They were the best pizza in the area but now I likely won't go back. Baked clams disgusting. Burnt and dry. Meatballs dry flavorless sauce was sour and disgusting. Chicken was even worse. So defensive because you know the food is trash. Do better cook better treat customers better you absolute joke of a restaurant. Everything was disgusting. I've truly never had a worse meal. I'm not sure what's fresh or what's frozen but either way it's all terrible. Avoid at all costs. Also named del pesto and they have NO PESTO on the entire menu. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I have to say after reading all the review I was disappointed in our order last night. First both pizzas were barely lukewarm which was surprising. Second, I thought these were thin crust they are not. They are nearly regular thickness. Third, the crusts were barely cooked. Lastly, our sausage pizza which had tomatoes and bell peppers was completely soggy on the bottom of the crust. Pizzas here are expensive for the size. Frank was fabulous. He had great recommendations for food and infectious energy. Me and my friends were in stitches talking with him. The mozzarella sticks were delicious (beware: you only get two). I ordered the chicken picatta with a side of pasta; my friend ordered the chicken Marsala (I ate some of hers ). Do yourself favor, order some pasta, split a bottle of wine and then walk down to the theater to sober up with a movie. read more

We went to Cinepolis to see Superman and were hungry- right next door to the theater was Del Pesto- what an unexpected find! I had an incredible pasta and sautéed eggplant dish- it was on point -pasta cooked perfectly, bite sized lightly breaded eggplant - tasty sauce, so delicious! My mom had the Valentina - linguini with Alfredo sauce and plump garlic pesto shrimp- outstanding. Our waitress, also named Valentinawas the sweetest, most beautiful girl and an excellent server. The service was way below par. Only three tables occupied in the restaurant, the waitress still couldn't get anything right, and she was very slow. We had a party of four, two of the appetizers were inedible and were returned. I ordered veal parmigiana and asked for penne pasta in lieu of spaghetti. Guess what I got? Spaghetti. I should have stood my ground. I asked for ala vodka sauce on my pasta. They upcharged me $10.00 for it without letting me know that it would be Extra at the time I ordered it. Another amazing meal at our favorite Italian restaurant in Jupiter! We walk in and the owner greets us and lets us know his special of chicken cacciatore has one last helping. Placed 2 takeout orders while staying in the area. First time I ordered the linguini with clams and garlic knots. The pasta was good, but not the best I've had. Garlic knots were very good, but keep in mind they are small. I was worried ordering 6 (minimum) as it was only me, but they are like mini knots so it was fine and they were delicious. Second order I got their spaghetti and meatballs and this one was even better in my opinion than the linguini. It came with 2 large meatballs and ricotta cheese which is always nice. The sauce on this one was very good and flavorful and they give you a good amount also. Service when I went to pickup was great even though one of the nights they were super busy. Food was always ready to go when I got there. Only recommendation I have is slightly better takeout utensils. It's a little hard to eat pasta when your fork keeps bending. Not a big deal though and would order again. Probably even better if you are dining in. read more

Got worst food poisoning in my life. My friend end up under IV . Salad!!! Was horrible poison

Went here yesterday with my wife after having a good meal there a couple of weeks ago. Well last night was anything but good. I ordered chicken piccata and my wife ordered chicken parmigiana with a side of sautéed spinach. Our waiter Frank was great and our meals came out promptly. Right away my wife said look at the spinach which was served in a bowl and literally swimming in oil. She started eating her chicken and said it doesn't taste right. I tasted and it was the rubbery piece of cartilage. Horrible. We complained to waiter and he replaced with eggplant parmigiana which my wife liked. My chicken piccata just wasnt very good. I think the chicken just wasn't fresh. Place was virtually empty in season . That's not a good sign. When we get bill, they charged us for more expensive chicken parmigiana, not the eggplant and charged us for spinach which they refused to take off bill. There are much better choices for Italian nearby and this is one restaurant we will not be returning to. read more

A home run in Italian food. Have always struggled to find quality Italian food without a large price tag and Del Pesto is the new hidden gem! Definitely in the middle tier price range, each entree dish is around $20, but most restaurants in the Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter area are the same. I called before ordering and spoke with Lance, he was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions regarding the menu. I called back a little later to place our to go order and again Lance was extremely friendly and helpful in placing my order with ease. Our family is somewhat picky and everyone likes something a different way, but this was no challenge for the Del Pesto team; each meal was prepared as ordered even with all the slight modifications we requested. Between the 3 of us, we enjoyed a variety of dishes: Fried Mozzarella, Caesar Salad, Chicken Picata, Chicken Francaise, Chicken Marsala. Everything was delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. As mentioned, this order was to go, but the restaurant does have both indoor and outdoor seating. When picking up our food, Lance was extremely attentive; my mother who picked up the order said Lance greeted her with a smile and remembered details from the conversation he and I had on the phone. It began to rain so he suggested my mother wait in her car and he would bring the food out when it was done. This type of incredible service should not go unnoticed, and it did not go unappreciated on our side. The restaurant didn't seem to be too busy when picking up our food around 5 pm, but hopefully with as more business around the area begin to open up, business will pick up again and this local eats spot will not go unnoticed. With food this tasty and an incredible atmosphere, we all agreed that we will definitely be ordering again! There are plenty of other Italian restaurant between our home in PBG and Del Pesto on the outskirts of Jupiter, but a restaurant and team that go above and beyond to make sure their patrons enjoy their meal receive an A+ in my book! read more

Del Pesto was outstanding and due to Covid, that's with delivery! We ordered a good selection of items and none of them disappointed. Valentina (Tender Jumbos tossed with garlic and a creamy parmesan sauce, then drizzled with their signature Del Pesto). Added bonus was the bruschetta. I'm a huge alfredo fan but this was waaaaay better than alfredo. Veal Parmigiana The breading of the veal and the simplicity of the sauce, really allowed the veal to shine. Fork tender! Loaded with flavor. I cannot wait to try the picatta next! This came with a Misto salad which we had with their housemade caesar dressing. Uncle Tommy's Meatballs Old family recipe covered in tomato sauce then topped with fresh ricotta. Absolutely delicious melt in your mouth meatballs. The addition of the ricotta made them even more so. Just order them. Cannolis finished it all off and they were fabulous. Fresh with the perfect balance of filling vs shell.
