The atmosphere was lively and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Everyone was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. We had the cocktail samosas and coffee, and both were excellent. I lost count of how many screens they had--no matter where you looked, there was something exciting on, from baseball and the World Cup to boxing and other live sports. To top it all off, there was a fantastic live band playing great music, creating an energetic and fun environment. The staff and guests alike made the place feel warm and inviting. I would absolutely love to come back again soon!

While it was made fresh to order and served with hot, crispy fries, the steak itself could have used a little more seasoning. Thankfully, the delicious dipping sauces--including a cheesy sauce and ranch--helped elevate the dish. I went with the Chicken Nachos, and wow...they were absolutely amazing! The portion size was huge and could easily be shared between two people. If I were to do it again, my sister and I would definitely split the nachos and save room for more spa-time relaxation. The only unexpected hiccup during our visit was a power outage. This was completely outside of Glen Ivy's control, as we later learned that Edison had temporarily shut off power to perform service in the area. Fortunately, power was restored within about 45 minutes to an hour. Thankfully, my sister and I had already taken our lunch break before it happened. What really impressed me was how the staff handled the situation. Once power was restored, team members walked throughout the resort personally notifying guests that services were available again. Their communication and professionalism helped make an inconvenient situation much smoother. I would absolutely return to Glen Ivy and Ivy Kitchen. Whether you're looking for something light or a more filling meal, they have options to satisfy just about every appetite. Combined with the beautiful spa setting and attentive staff, it makes for a wonderful experience from start to finish. If you're spending the day at Glen Ivy, be sure to stop by Ivy Kitchen--you won't regret it.

First of all, those folks need to put some respect on Miguel Jr.'s name, because if you're not already aware - it's a local fast food powerhouse that's poised to take over the nation one day. Any one that knows the level of food served up at Miguel Jr.'s fast food restaurant should believe that their sit down restaurant ain't messing around. I absolutely love it here. I've been at least 10 times. I bring friends from out of town here, I've had a birthday dinner here, and I'll be back again and again. The service is always great and the vibe inside is cool. The main seating area has an outdoor plaza theme that looks like you're sitting in a courtyard below colorful Spanish style buildings. It always gives me Disneyland vibes (sorry should have taken pics). Outdoors with the lake view is nice too, but not in the August heat. Maybe 1 time I've been and the food wasn't too great. But 9/10 times...or maybe more...it's been a 5-star experience - and this was one of them! I came for happy hour before a movie across the way, because they have good prices on appetizers. I don't drink, so I can't speak to that side of the happy hour menu, but I've tried every food item on it. My favorite thing is the queso fundido. If you don't know, it's a melted cheese dish with chorizo on top typically served with tortilla (corn or flour). I love the house made, fresh, flour tortillas here! The queso fundido may look like a dip, but you it's more of a thick mozzarella consistency. You gotta scoop and stretch it on to a tortilla and fold it or roll it. Sure it's a little greasy, but the tortilla helps soak that up. Share it with enough friends and you don't feel as guilty about it! After that I had my house salad which was super solid for only $5. It was simple, but satisfying - especially after my greasy queso. The naked relleno was my third course. Also super solid with great flavor. The chili had a nice char, and sauce/cheese had a nice complimentary flavor. These three items had me pretty filled up, but I also charged my wife the husband tax and stole one of her carnitas tacos. If I wasn't here for happy hour, the carnitas plate is my go-to, so I already knew these were going to be good. The carnitas was plenty juicy with that nice pork flavor. I think the perfect carnitas have some nice crunch without being dry. These didn't have any crunch, but certainly were not dry - and that's a win enough for me. They tasted juicy without having the overwhelming flavor or sensation of being fatty. Trust me, my wife would have said something if they were too fatty. Overall I highly recommend Miguel's to my local folks in the IE and anyone visiting. It's one of my favorite sit down Mexican restaurants in the area and definitely for happy hour. And maybe most importantly, it seems to be maybe one of the more affordable (in comparison), family friendly, and relaxed sit down restaurants to eat at within the Dos Lagos shopping center (anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that!).

Cool little spot that gives east coast vibes with delicious pizza! UPDATE: I love the gnocchi from here! It tastes bomb with vodka sauce. The servings are huge when you dine in but I somehow always end up devouring it even when I say I'm only going to eat half. Just wish their takeout servings were just as generous because it looks like I only get half the portion for pasta (I order the exact same thing every time for reference so I know). Other than that, pizza is always good and so is the service, just need better takeout portions!

Fortunately, the restaurant was slow at the time and they got on my order which they said would be done in 10 minutes. It may have but I am not sure. Our meatball sandwich was good but I was disappointed in the New York style pastrami sandwich. Even though I specifically asked for mustard and pickle, the sandwich was dry. My 2nd visit I ordered a Pork green chili burrito with No Rice... I drove home North Corona & sat down to eat my burrito... I took a bite to find beans, "RICE" & 2 pieces of pork (No green sauce) I immediately called and talked with the owner "Husband" & He immediately admitted he forgot to tell the cook "No Rice" & would make it right on my next visit... A week later when I was down in that area again I went in. The Husband was busy hanging Cinco de Mayo banners & the wife abruptly said "Did you order online or is this for here" I started to explain the situation about the burrito & that her husband said he would correct the error on my next visit..." She took my order & charged me the order "IN FULL" as though she didn't hear or acknowledge the replacement of the incorrect burrito given to me a week previous... So I again mentioned to her that the burrito was a replacement so why was I being charged Full price??? Her husband stood up & told his wife that "the burrito was to be replaced" She immediately fired back at me "Then you should have driven back to show us"... I said to her I had immediately called & that her husband acknowledged he "Forgot" to tell the cook and she insisted that "in the future nothing will be replaced that is not brought back"... I asked her "if she also wanted to replace my gasoline & compensate my time" That didn't seem to be important to her at all as well as the order made incorrectly by them !!! The husband then said "I am Happy to replace your burrito but Honestly We have the right to refuse service"... That was their way of handling an order given to a customer incorrectly... They are the only Mexican restaurant in the area off Indian Truck Trail in The Vons Shopping off De Palma Rd & Indian Truck trail... I WILL NOT give another penny of my hard earned money & advise you to reconsider this restaurant for $$$ & lousy customer service... I was floored by our "medium" pizza…read more It has been years since we had patronized this place, but I recalled we had had some pretty good pizza pies a decade or more, ago. So, on a whim and the fact that we were already nearby, we went. First of all, Tom's Farm has matured delightfully over the years. The two places to eat offer seating outdoors, on the patio and decking, with large, gracious trees, pretty landscaping, and in full view of a centrally located, charming pond with happy ducks. It is a cute spot that is quite kid-friendly. Weekends there can be frantic, but we came on a weekday, early in the evening, and found it nearly empty. The pizzas here are practically mind boggling. We started with a basic, medium sized cheese pizza for the two of us, then added 3 toppings: sausage, pepperoni, and fresh mushrooms. Since I ordered it over the phone, there was little wait once we arrived. What I was unprepared for was the actual size. This medium pizza dwarfed most medium pizzas I have seen in the past. It was 16" in diameter, and the toppings overflowed on top. There was so much, it was nearly impossible to pick up a slice without lots of topping tumbling back into the box. Such a problem! And the toppings were really good, the sausage in particular getting an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. I am so picky. Great weather, adorable ambiance, great food, and a cheerful lady at the order window made for a memorable experience. And oh boy, leftovers!
