Cafe Sagrado, great little place to enjoy a hot tea on their sunny patio. When I went back to have them add hot water to my cup ( delicious masala tea ) they asked for an additional $4. After asking, really? She reluctantly gave me a half a cup of hot water. "I'm not supposed to do this." She tells me. Live life on the edge, I responded.

The space was nice and quaint with some lovely items from local artists. The staff was nice and personable. The coffee was a bit on the bland side. I ordered a cold brew with cream. It tastes like a weak coffee. Nothing bad, just not overwhelmed.

Not only are they the coolest little coffee shop but also has the best coffee in town! They have treats for all walks of life and the family that runs this place are caring hard working people.

Nestled toward the back of the Overland Ranch property, Farmhouse Cafe is like a visit to Grandma's…read morehouse--if Granny is a little crunchy. The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone from traditional bacon and eggs breakfast to a vegetarian shepherds pie (that can be made vegan). Kids both had hot chocolate and pancakes. The hot chocolate didn't come out of a packet. It was frothed whole milk with cocoa powder and just enough sugar to please the kids' palate. The pancakes are gluten free, so "different" from what my kids are used to, but they enjoyed them. They were given a tiny ramekin with syrup, so we had to ask for more--and that still wasn't enough, but it's not the restaurant's fault that my kids like their pancakes saturated with syrup. SO had huevos rancheros with a side of red and green chile. He wasn't in love with the casserole style dish, but he ate it and said that he liked the red chile better than the green. He also had a caramel latte, which he enjoyed, citing it had plenty of frothy milk compared to the watery kind he usually gets at a certain chain with a mermaid logo. I had a Mayan hot chocolate, which is basically a regular hot chocolate with cinnamon and dusted with red chile powder. I had mine made with almond milk, and it was just as frothy and indulgent as hot chocolate should be. I also had the curried squash pie, which is also gluten free. The crust was burned, so I was not a fan of that. Truly, I wouldn't have served an item with black crust--but not my circus. Burned crust aside, the pie was the consistency of squash and cooked celery bits--not really pleasing to the eye, but the flavor more than made up for it! I'd eat it again. The pie came with a small side salad of spring mix and a tiny ramekin of balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The salad was a little wilted, but I don't think I've ever had a spring mix salad that wasn't kind of wilted. Service was attentive and quick, which is always appreciated.

I'm going to start this review off by saying this- some of the absolute worst customer service I…read morehave ever experienced had taken place here at Tomorrow and Tomorrow. We were so excited to check this place out as we had heard many great things, and that was the first spot of the day kicking off our anniversary. The person at the counter taking orders was extremely rude and unprofessional when it was our turn. She was condescending on every question we asked since it was our first time in. We were curious what the signature latte was since it doesn't tell you on the menu "It's..rosemary?" and then rings up said latte and huffs and puffs like a child when we said we were gonna do two iced lattes "Ugh okay lemme take the signature latte off the order". We go to order breakfast sandwiches but there's a sign that says "No bagels" no big deal, we asked her what do they come on instead "Sourdough....." with the rudest tone and look on their face. My partner asked if she can get a side of tomato jam for her sandwich to a response of "Ya I don't know probably"..at this point I was ready to leave as I am in the industry myself and have been so for 20 years and I'm not gonna let anyone treat me like that. We stuck around though as it was our anniversary and this place was recommended by many others when we told them we were going to Taos for our celebration. Coffee took 20 minutes to make two iced lattes, food took another 30ish and they weren't that busy either. We waited so long that someone who worked there eventually came up and asked if we needed help with anything- we stated we were waiting on our order and they said it was gonna be another 10 minutes. All that waiting around for burnt sourdough, half melted cheese, and bland sausage. Kitchen seemed frazzled although it wasn't busy, felt like they threw our food together to start cleaning the kitchen to close, although we weren't there near closing time. The tab was also somehow $52 for two iced coffees and two mediocre breakfast sandwiches..talk about a ripoff. I haven't even had breakfast that expensive in Aspen or Jackson Hole. One star because the coffee was really good, and the bathroom was cool but that's about it. Everything else about the experience there was lackluster, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who visits Taos. This experience was so awful that I had to send in an email in hopes they respond/take my feedback and improve on things, but I will not go back next time I'm in town personally to see if these issues have changed. Mainly due to the woman at the counter but also the food was very underwhelming especially for the steep price.

Very subpar customer service and overpriced food. The coffees were the best part and the only thing…read moreI would suggest here. I am still trying to process how two breakfast toasts and two coffee would be $55. We also waited 45 mins (I'm not being overly dramatic) for the burnt toasts to come out. I would not return here on my next trip.
