We go for chicken satay kebabs to start, then beef satay and salted chilli chicken with 1 order of rice and 1 order of noodles, Throw in a portion of battered onion rings to up the carbs and grease if we have matching his and hers hangovers. Our weekly delivery takes the nasty edge off the dreaded Sunday night and makes the world a better place and all for about £15.

The standard is always good if you just want a quick bite to eat. Everything is always well cooked and things are served fast, which are the main things you are looking for in a fast food outlet. Where it has the edge on takeaways and chip shops is its small but perfectly formed deserts range, as it has a lot of keenly priced ice cream sundaes and muffins that are very nice for the minimal price! My best Supermac's memory thought is as part of the Des Bishop Work Experience that was on RTE a few years ago. If you have the cash or the spare hard drive space if you catch my drift, check it out and you'll get a slightly harsher insight into life at an outlet like this!

I ordered a chicken burger and chips, whilst my housemate, a seasoned user, opted for the bizzare combination of chips with beans and thousand Island dressing. She swears by it, I'm not so sure. The price was good value considering the portions served. The chicken burger was a monstrosity of a beast, it came spilling out over the bun with it's bubbly batter looking like strange growths. It was one of those meals which would work better if you could dislocate your own jaw. The chips were also served in a massive long box and were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crispiness. It all felt rather wrong (attempting) to eat this greasy feast as my housemate and I watched Audrey Hepburn prancing around chic Paris establishments in the film Funny Face. I told my accomplice that we would never speak of this moment again. That is, until now. I would recommend Ritchie's for a fish supper or a lazy tea, but just be warned of the supersized portions.

Parking is tight in the area but it's worth taking your time and popping by if you can. There's a few tables and chairs outside the branch to site and indulge in some treats and inside you'll find all the things you'd expect from the Northern Ireland Bakery of the year, 2016. The Cherryvalley branch is stylish, well stocked and the staff were very helpful. Samples were provided too of a few items and I'll be heading back soon for some of their pecan pies as a result. I opted for some veda, baps and a few patisserie items but to be honest I couldn't bought one of everything as the presentation was stunning! Items are well packaged for travel too - top points here! If you're in the area, make sure to pop in and have look around, you won't leave empty handed.
