Spring rolls and Jalepeno poppers were good, Louisiana Roll I really enjoyed, but the pepper tuna was old and dry had a less than desirable taste and texture. Daughter loved the snowball and my wife's sweet and sour chicken with fried rice was really good. Do not know what is happened to Rawz. Has always been our go to sushi place. Tonight however may be the last time I visit here. The waiter was continually having to apologize to customers for the delay in their food. After 45 minutes he came to our table and informed us they still had not prepared our sushi. He asked if we wanted to cancel the order. I asked could he request that it be moved up to the front of the line to be prepared. He came back to the table and said I'm sorry they told me "shut up" and to get out of the kitchen. At that point I paid my bill and left. As I was leaving I heard him tell other customers the same thing. The restaurant was fairly full when I entered when I left only about a third of the tables were occupied. read more

In Monroe/ West Monroe good Asian food is pretty slim pickings. I'm not big on buffets and none that I've tried here have been better than mediocre, hibachi doesn't really give me the unique flair/ flavor that I desire and while I love Bangkok Spice, their sushi selection is extremely limited. I have gotten take out from RawZ a few times now and I have been overall always satisfied. (My complaints simply stem from take out packaging choices) I warn you, this menu is massive. Like Cheesecake Factory massive. The sushi alone takes up like 8 pages. BUT - and this I love - EVERY SUSHI ROLL HAS A PICTURE!!! That's right! You get no secrets here. No ninja ingredients or unclear descriptions. For this fact alone, I will continue to come back here. The rolls are a little pricey, but I haven't had a bad one yet. Their Thai dishes are wonderful, fresh and full of flavor. I've tried several variations and no complaints here! Here's my complaint. When I've gotten pho from them, they always package everything separately, which is awesome. I recently got their duck noodle soup. Well, they put the noodles in the hot broth so by the time I got home, I had mush. No bueno. I also am confused why they would put wonton strips into soup before packaging it up for take out. Please stop this. I have yet to dine in. The restaurant is fairly small and it appears they don't serve alcohol at all. But, for West Monroe, this is pretty standard. read more

I love this place to death. The food always tastes great and there's no place I'd choose over this one. However, every time I order my go-to meal, they mess it up haha. I always order the Spice Route noodle with green curry and salmon/crawfish as my choice of meat and, for the most part, they always get something wrong. I don't eat any red meat and I once received my green curry dish with pork lol sooooo that's not okay. We ended up bringing it back for a new one and there was baby corn, mushrooms, and a few unrecognizable things in it that are not suppose to be, but hey! My family & I went to this establishment because their Thai food is usually good! Our hostess name was Tina and she was HORRIBLE! I guess she had a problem waiting on African Americans! She WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL!! She just seemed uncomfortable and like she'd was serving aliens!! She got all of our orders Wrong and wanted to tell us that we did order what was brought to our table!! Rawz is quite unwelcoming and if they have a problem of serving African Americans, please make it known!! Food was decent but dismal atmosphere didn't help as far as how our dishes tasted!! We ordered the Alaska Sushi Roll and was surprised at how dry it was. It tasted as if the sushi roll was made ahead of time and kept under a lamp. Usually when we get this roll is very juicy and flavorful but this was just a warm glob of overcooked rice and fish. The rest of the group that ordered to go didn't complain about their meal but nobody was wowed at the flavors. I was able to try the Monster Roll that my friend was having and it was much more flavorful than the dried up roll I received. Maybe it was a bad day? We usually visit this restaurant and it's delicious. I'm hoping once COVID subsides we can try it again and get a better experience. read more

We are regulars, and they know it! the decor is beautiful, and the menus are spot on because they have pictures of all the rolls you can order, it's truly a nice touch. My family and I are regulars and love dining here. Yesterday was not a good experience because One of the waiters was cleaning his nose, in the area where the drinks are being prepared. The same waiter's mask kept falling below his nose and his chin. This waiter kept walking to the back kitchen and not wearing his mask properly. The rest of the waiters and waitresses were wearing their mask, according to CDC guidelines. While waiting for our meal, I noticed that Our waiter was touching our spring rolls with his ungloved bare hands and then he wiped his hands on his pants. This is very unsanitary and I hope management briefs their workers concerning these unsafe acts. Thanks in advance. read more

After going to the Monroe branch i can say I was very disappointed in this branch. Waiter was nice and attentive but do not order Pho... It was awful. Sushi was okay not what i ordered but tasted okay.... If you can wait to go on to Monroe then do so. Just my suggestion but its honest. read more

This had to be the worst sushi we have ever eaten, the seafood was old and just all together not a good combination. Sadly the other reviews were very misleading and this I why we chose to give this restaurant a shot in the dark, needless to say we will never be returning or possibly ever eating sushi again after this experience. Even a bite of just one piece led to it immediately having to be spit out due to the taste and texture that resemble bad seafood. I have been to this restaurant several times over the years and always had good food and good service, but today was the BEST!! I brought my daughters with me, and my youngest daughter has allergies and they went above and beyond to make sure she could eat there safely!! This is a very poor imitation of the original location in Monroe. The portions are much smaller, but still demand the same price. The staff appear to be hired from work release program. Best restaurant in West Monroe. Great sushi and all kinds of different Pan Asian meals. No alcohol yet but the service is way above par. I LOVE the Spicy Tilapia. Can't go wrong with Tamarind Chicken. Really can't go wrong with anything. Kids love the Crab Rangoon. Going to get straight to the point... I ordered shrimp fried rice extra shrimp, no veggies, fine, easy and simple... so I get my food no extra shrimp. I tell the waitress and she takes it back to get the shrimp out on and I'm assuming the manager, comes out and says that they charged me extra for the shrimp that they DID NOT put on my plate the first time. Before I could even say don't worry about it, they put the shrimp on and charger me. The manager was so rude and inconsiderate of what was going on and did not even try and have a conversation. The server smelled like cigarettes and paid no attention, having his back to us the entire time. The food came cold to our table, while the server was very inconsiderate of the fact that our drinks were empty. The sushi came over sauced and poorly presented, the shrimp tempura in the sushi was cold and rubbery. Albeit, their fried sushi was awesome. Everyone on staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and always have great suggestions. This is one of my favorite places! I always get the pad thai and it is wonderful! I also love the spring rolls! They have tons of types of sushi, which is awesome! Every sushi I tried, I loved! I even tried the fried octopus, which is a stretch for me, but I was pleasantly surprised! I love that I can call in and it is ready by the time I drive there! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS.. My family was in town with my cousins for a few days and she thought it would be great to try! We went expecting typical service, refilled drinks, hot meals, etc. It needs to be made clear that our waitress was not the problem by any means! She was amazing! She refilled our drinks multiple times, was very friendly and attentive. The management, however, was horrific. 4 OUT OF 5 MEALS DID NOT EVEN COME OUT WARM. My father called the owner over and he believed that it was okay to serve "room temperature" meals, and that the food was "okay to eat". He never bothered to even touch the food nor apologize, and never even thought about compensating us for our horrible experience. He said that the entire restaurant was being served this "room temperature" food, so we should just eat it too. Needless to say, we were livid about the situation. Being a mom and pop restaurant, I'd expect a little more caring out of the situation. As for the food, it was flavorful but not worth coming out cold. The only meal that came out semi-prepared was my mother's, and she had a teriyaki bowl that was actually room temperature. The other 4 meals did NOT have ANY heat associated. We paid, and left. We will NEVER go back. Horrible management and business. read more

Was not impressed with this location overall. Service was very slow and not attentive. I came on a Friday night with friends and it was a little busy, but not bad for 6:30 dinner before a movie. We had a 15 min wait before being seated. I ordered Crab Rangoon as an app and wasn't impressed, tasted different from the Monroe location. When our entrees came out, only three people received their rolls at once, while two people (my friend and myself) didn't. I could understand for rolls to come out staggered as the chefs are done rolling, but the orders were all placed at the same time and my roll didn't come out til 30 minutes after theirs and then my friend's roll didn't come out until 15 minutes after mine! To say the least we were not happy with the service, we had people who were seated after us that finished their meals before we were all served AND we saw that someone at another table received the same roll my friend had ordered while she was still waiting on hers to come out... When she asked the waitress what was going on, and that she needed to just go ahead and cancel her order because we were on a time crunch to catch our movie by that time, the waitress got really defensive and told us it was out of her control and there was nothing she could do about the kitchen not bringing out her roll in a timely manner. The manager came to apologize and offered 20% off one item on everyone's ticket, while holding onto my friend's roll, but it just left a bad taste in everyone's mouth because really, they just screwed my friend out of her dinner because of untimely service and still made her pay $2 for her drink. The least they could have done was give her the roll and comp it since they were holding on to it right in front of us when apologizing about the service (which really didn't seem sincere) or just comped her drink completely. We didn't really need the 20% off one item for everyone at the table. For now, we will stick to the Monroe location since they know what they're doing and are quick. read more

Great atmosphere with awesome food. The sushi is amazing, the PHO is always spectacular, and several of the appetizers are great as well. The sushi menu is 3 pages full to choose from. I love the shrimp PHO. The spring rolls and crab Rangoon are out of this world that comes with sauces that are equally spectacular.
