I also asked for garlic mayo and was served mayo so indeed was a dry dinner as the sauce was everywhere bar the food as you can see. I have since emailed the branch and been told this is my issue I asked for it to be served this way... which i most definitely didn't. On top of this they have now posted me to their social media saying "well if you ask for it this way you get it this way" the customer service is absolutely shocking to the point of no return. Back n forward on social media with an established business is just wild. Unless you want an awful order and then dragged on social media for complaining rightly so don't go here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It's got quite a decent sized sit in restaurant including a mezzanine level which serves the same food you'll get taking away but presented nicer than I've ever seen in a traditional chippy. The take out is pretty speedy although expect to wait for fish. The chips themselves are really good and just how I like them. Well cooked, soft and not greasy at all. The fish was fresh, light and crispy and available in traditional batter and panko breadcrumbs but I went for batter. The battered sausage was one of the best I've had too, plenty of bite in it - some sausages can be a little limp... For a fish supper and sausage supper it only set me back £9.10 and that was a good meal for two people - they don't skimp on chips that's for sure! Looking forward to going back there soon and possibly trying out the restaurant.
