Cute little restaurant, clean interior and a lot of space. The menu recently was condensed according to the owners as they needed to make it simple. Staff overall was friendly, but was slightly lacking when asked what was in the fried rice as I wasn't sure what Peruvian style meant. She just said it was similar to chinese style, which I wasnt sure was made intentionally as a comment simply because I was an Asian individual. That being said, the Lomo Soltado was good but a bit pricey in comparison. It came out rather on the saltier side but the umami flavours from the soy sauce base was present. The meat was cooked well, medium rare. The spring onions and red onions with tomatoes made it a nice touch but did end up oily and salty, which needed something more than the rice to cut it off. Their chicken was dry, which is why I gave it less stars as well for the review.

Came on a Friday night, and there was just one other group eating. We were quickly seated, and the service was fantastic all night long. This spot is super clean, the interior design is bright and inviting. They have a soothing white/light green decor that almost fits a hip/girly cafe haha. Lomo Saltado- a la carte order is $25. They currently have a "Special" where you can get 2 Lomo Saltados + 2 Beers for $40. That's honestly a great price! Plus, Lomo Saltado is usually my go-to at Peruvian restaurants, so that was just a huge plus. Their beer selection includes Dos Equis, Michelob Ultra, and Stella Artois. Their individual menu items are a little on the pricier side, but their current special was a fantastic deal. Lomo Saltado (9/10. Actually so good.) - Good portion size! I went in hungry, and went out very satisfied. Definitely enough food to satisfy when you're hungry - Flavor was SOOO GOOD!!!! This is honestly probably the best Lomo Saltado I've ever had. The sauce they used is thick, rich, packed with deep umami flavor - The beef they used was fantastic quality, cooked to a perfect medium, and super tender to the bite. Awesome quality of meat. - steak fries, green onion, red onion, tomatoes, and a side of white rice. All were top-notch and absolutely delicious. Additionally, Friday and Saturday night are both karaoke evenings! They open until midnight, have a computer and a mic available. Since we were the only group there that evening, we enjoyed singing a couple songs with a very supportive and encouraging staff. Overall, a fantastic and enjoyable evening! Would definitely like to come back.

I finally got a chance to try this place and really recommend it. The family that runs and owns this place are quite hospitable and kind

The flavor was good but it's definitely not a traditional papa a la huancaina. that my boyfriend wanted.

The service was great, the place is cute and clean. The lomo saltado was good but The Downfall was the papa a la Huancaina; it was not traditionally made. It was fried potatoes with the sauce on top with added cheese instead of the hard boiled egg and lettuce. They don't serve bottle water. No desserts or passion fruit juice available.

Really good food and superb service. Restaurant staff have good picks and recommendations for anyone who is not sure where to start. They recommended their current special deal right now, 2 lomo saltados + 2 beers for $40, and it did NOT disappoint!

You walk in and the first thing you feel is the cleanliness, which is the most important thing for me to eat comfortably. You seat yourself wherever you'd like and the server comes to greet you with a menu and to grab your drink order. The service is attentive and the food is authentic. It's one of the best lomo saltados I've had!

    Yum! Cooked to perfection

Been wanting to try this place & the food is very good, especially the Lomo Saltado! We also tried the Jalea & it was OK. The cook brought out the dipping sauce half way thru our dinner, much tastier with the sauce! However, the service need improvement. We understood that our server was not the usual server, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. Started out good with him making some suggestions, but then we didn't see him for 10 mins...no water, nothing. We will go again & see if the service is better next time, because of the food, want to try some other items. Also very nice decor!

Okay, let me tell you something. I just had one of those life-changing meals. I mean, everything…read morelooked good, but I really did not know what to expect. It smelled heavenly, but the real magic happened when I put the fork in the bunch! Smokin' Sammich Is one of those places that's tucked in the back of a shopping center. But I'm telling you right here and now it is absolutely worth the hunt! I had read about this place online, saw some Instagram posts about it and decided it was about time for me to try it for myself. This is not one of those quick little snack places, this is when you are seriously hungry and need something to keep the wolf from the door. Everything looked so amazing on the menu, I really didn't know what to do. I opted for the bowl with noodles and rice, brisket, I paid extra to have the side of grilled pork belly, and it also came with a couple of egg rolls. I jumped into the egg rolls first, they were so good. At first I was a little put off because they seem so small, but in this case big things come in small packages! Packages! And the dipping sauce for the rolls, top notch! I had to use a lot of restraint, because I wanted to dig right in, but I wanted to taste the meat on its own, as that is the mark of a really good barbecue. I'll just say this, I would put this meat up against anyone in a competition! The brisket was fall apart tender, had great bark on it, and had just the right amount of smoke. It was still moist, and so flavorful. The pork belly was absolutely amazing. Like the brisket had great bark on it but was tender, and juicy on the inside. All I could think about while I was eating it was how awesome it would be on a cheeseburger. Let's talk about the rice and noodles. Most bowls use rice and or noodles as an afterthought. More of just a base to lay the meat on. Not this place. The rice was some of the best I've ever had. Had just the right amount of stickiness, and definitely tasted like it was just fresh cooked then and there. Same thing with the noodles. Absolutely flavorful and a great side dish. Okay, let's talk sauce. I brought home some of the spicy barbecue, as I like a little bit of heat with my sauce. And this one delivers in spades! Super delicious. Had just the right amount of heat at the back of my throat, and really complimented the meat without overpowering it. You could put this on the pork belly, the brisket or an old shoe.. anything would taste good with this sauce! Since I had rice, I knew I was going to want some of their teriyaki sauce. Wow! Just wow! You can tell this is not out of a jug from Costco. This stuff is homemade right there! Much like the spicy barbecue sauce, this had a little bit of a surprise kick to it. Definitely not overpowering and was an absolute joy to put on the rice and the noodles! Bottom line? This is going to be my go-to sandwich place for the rest of my life. I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu at least once. If you were ever in the area and you didn't stop by to get something here, then shame on you!

Smoking' Sammich is an excellent restaurant located in Henderson on Serene and Spencer. You'll find…read morethem near Dutch Bros Coffee, next to Pho Saigonese and Don Tortaco Mexican Grill. There's limited parking in the front, but you'll see additional space on the side of the restaurant. Inside is clean and spacious with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is pretty chill and laid back, they were playing a genre mix of 80s and classic music, I was listening to "Have You Ever Seen The Rain," it's a nice song! Menu offers a great selection of smokin' sandwiches with choice of brisket, pastrami, pulled pork, sausage, corned beef, fried chicken breast, swai fried fish, tuna melt (albacore), side dish, as well as fantastic smokin' rice bowl options that comes with steamed rice, pancit noodles, lumpia, and choice of meat. I ordered a snack, chose potato salad and tater tots. The potato salad (small, $2.75) is pretty good! It has a nice consistency, cool and creamy, with fork tender potato chunks, so yummy! Tater tots ($3.50) are hot, fried golden crispy, and taste great with cold potato salad, it's delicious! There's a condiment bar where you can choose from a variety of toppings such as pepperoncini, pico de gallo, cherry peppers, yellow onions, banana peppers, pickle radish, green chile, sauerkraut, pealed carrots, jalapeños, pickled red onions, grilled onions and bell peppers, whole chili peppers, sliced pickles, and coleslaw. The sauce selections are great too! They offer chipotle mayo, mustard, mayo, spicy mayo, ketchup, regular bbq, spicy bbq, teriyaki sauce, sriracha, and tabasco sauce. For my topping, I added sliced pickles, sauerkraut, and spicy mustard on crispy tater tots, it's tasty and good! Service from Kneil is very kind, welcoming, courteous, accommodating, and friendly!
