Vegetarian Review:
My experience: I entered on a Sunday morning for Sunday Brunch at 11 Am. Because they do not sell alcohol, they were very accomodating to us bringing our own wine bottle and charged a minimal corkage fee
Restaurant design: absolutely beautiful establishment with beautiful authentic ceramics, cookbooks, olive oils, and spice mixes for sale.
Service: 5/5
Service was very kind and welcoming , ensured my party had lemon water throughout our meal and we enjoyed our food The 18£ Sunday brunch also included a delicious mint tea.
Food: 5/5
As our server brought our fist course out I thoroughly enjoyed the hummus, baba ganoush, zataar halloumi and falafel. Everything was spiced delicately and packed with flavor.
My party sat in silence as we ate our food. At some point I realized that we had abandoned our conversation that we were having before the meal arrived.
Then more and more food came out.
The Fatteh was the star of the show, there were two Fatteh dishes, one with eggplant and one with garbanzo beans, both with absolutely incredible.
Finishing off with some Baklava, I thought that sticking with the pistachio was the safe choice, but someone insisted we try the walnut, and I am so glad we did. I started with the pistachio and thought it was phenomenal, and yet, when I tried the walnut baklava, it was even better.
I cannot recommend Cafe Palestina highly enough. read more
