This is the cafe for the Mo2 hotel. I hope it doesn't have the roach problem that my room had.
I ate an "American breakfast" that was 2 eggs, bacon, coffee, fruit for nearly $5.
That's high for a breakfast here in the Philippines.
The main purpose of my breakfast was to try and get get some sustenance into my youngest daughter.
"Can you give me an extra side of bacon on the $5 breakfast?" I belligerently inquired.
"No sir. Our breakfast are pre packaged..
I cut him off.
"So I'm paying $5 for a frozen pre packaged meal?!?"
I can tell my anger isn't making a dent with this guy. Besides I don't need them sabotaging my food. I feign graciousness. My oldest daughter explained to me that they speak "illongo" here so I should save my breath. Perhaps..
The breakfast was pretty good. My oldest shared her bacon with her little sister. I remembered my fruit. They forgot. They bring out the mango that my youngest daughter inhaled. She has sustained herself off mangoes and orange soda this whole trip.
I eat the French Toast that was so soggy I couldn't even transfer it to my plate. I hope this hotel doesn't charge me for the extra plate I used. It wasn't bad.
Coffee was great with a new found passion MASCOBADO. it's a local organic sugar. I will have to take this stuff home with me. read more
