The location is awesome and the people are really nice. I've tried most of their coffee but I can't remember anything remarkable.

I have not visited this location but have ordered from them online several times. I love how smooth…read moretheir coffees are. They also leave notes on the coffee cups. A bit cheesy but it's part of the Filipino culture. My favorite is the spanish latte. Although it has condensed milk, the sweetness is never overwhelming. Definitely one of my go-to coffee shops whenever I need my caffeine fix.

One-third the size of their new outlet in San Jose, Antigue, this original store has well-trained baristas who know how to make and froth up a distinct treat. With their caramel banoffee cake/pie, you've just had an excellent snack. They also offer three somewhat recently-roasted different bean selections, try them out also to see if they home brew okay? As Starbucks has driven a nail into their foot with their dumb policies using Lactel baby milk and skim milk for their coffee drinks, with their overly-tight policies on covid precautions, baristas who don't find it unusual to scald the milk in their lattes, and drink prices far too high compared to others (Brewtherhood, Seattle's Best, Bo's, etc.), why bother ever to go back! Their over-roasted beans are still good, but there are plenty of alternatives. Come to the little brewtherhood cafe instead, as it's not far from downtown or city mall. Parking is close and not the hassle of the Starbuck branches. I've returned already, and will continue to do so...

Nice local café, that has almost every flavor/style of coffee you can ask for!…read more Young and old seem to enjoy this place, with its combination of traditional and eclectic decor! Their food is yummy and locally made, which made for the perfect mother/daughter coffee date!

We came here to try the very local Media Puro (strong black coffee), and added some Muscovado sugar…read more(tasted and smelled like molasses) to sweeten this incredibly bold and intense coffee. We were later told that they prepare it by boiling the grounds for a long time. Unfortunately, the high acidity and caffeine turned out stomachs and we suffered the rest of the day. We had some Suman, which had tender sticky glutinous rice and a grated coconut topping with unrefined sugar syrup. It was delicious. The Puto was spongy, slightly tangy and fragrant. It would have been perfect with Dinuguan (pork blood stew) which I eyed greedily as someone at a table beside us had ordered it and seemed to be enjoying himself. I had ordered Tapsilog as well, but our server said it was not available but highly recommended the Corn(ed beef) silog, which turned out to be exceptional. The egg was perfectly fried with toasted edges and a slightly runny yolk. Rice had perfect grain texture and slightly slick with garlic oil. And the corned beef was velvety without having any oil runoff! Yes, the vibe is uber local, and old timers adore it here. Come for an authentic experience.

The two times we've been here, it's been marginal at best, but really, we won't return!…read more Not only are we trying to avoid the nutritional shortfalls - high fructose syrup, white flours and sugars, stale lettuce and food-coloured papaya strips - but to taste something that remotely resembles a decent American breakfast seems impossible: * Only the steamed eggs were as they should be. * The tough cold bacon had been re-heated after asking for it fresh and crispy. * With no toaster in sight they can't toast bread: found myself using a stiff waffle as toast to eat my eggs. Another guest tried to use their untoasted bread but left her eggs and bread on the plate. * The limp salad garnish on at least four plates was left untouched. * My wife's boneless bangus was passable but greasy and almost tasteless. * A thin slightly-hard stale weird potato-like mini-patty masqueraded as 'hash browns'. * The cook tried to present the meals well, but the actual food is more important. We won't ever go back to eat drek, and won't recommend it to you! Unfortunately, we don't know of an alternative in Iloilo anywhere, and so it's simply better to buy your own bacon and eggs, make your own hash browns, and toast some pretty good Nicolette Bakery bread at home.

Prices are a bit on the high side compared to other restaurants inside the mall but I can say the quality has been consistently good. I have eaten inside about 3 or four times and the only food that wasn't very good was the salmon. It was a bit on the dry side. Everything else has been flavorful. As I have mentioned, I have not tried their bread but both my mom and dad always ask me to buy their multigrain bread for them whenever they know I am planning to visit. Whenever I get too lazy to go out because of the brutal heat (Philippine weather), I order via Grab. Tip your rider, people. I saw several wait for 20-30 minutes for orders while I was eating there.

Got to follow up on this review. I overrated it by 2 stars on my initial review…read more Why? The breads have fallen seriously off after the covid breakout: even my favourite multi-grain is less substantial. The 'sourdough' bread has no starter in it (the premix fermentation process that makes is sour and nicely-flavoured), and therefore is NOT sourdough bread at all. This dishonesty factor alone put us off! The meals have never been that good. I think owner Buboy the owner tries, but their slab-bacon breakfast is just fried fatty pork belly instead of smoked bacon. The huge black Angus burger looks great, but on the third time it just wasn't that tasty (maybe a different cook), and the other dishes are off. The only pasta we like is olive oil and garlic, but at home I can easily equal it. As well, the meals all are pricey compared to what you get. As I've found two better places for bread, we now don't go there for anything (you know, honesty does count for something!).
