I've been here few times, I guess I never reviewed this place. Nice little cozy restaurant. It's been here for a while far as I remember. We wanted something different so we decided to come here for dinner. Friendly staff, not too busy Saturday night. Price seems pretty good for what you get. Ordered the trio-kabob special and lamb chop. I wish they had lamb shank special, but oh well. Even the lamb chops were little on the small side, oh man. So darn good. Nice char and seasoning on the chop. Probably one of the tender lamb chop I've had at a restaurant, grilled perfectly. Rice was not bad, little on the blen side but still good. Salad was yummy. The trip-kabob came with lamb, beef, and chicken, all were nice and tender and flavourful. Over all food was yummy and I definitely come back here for that lamb chop.. So yummy.

I found Cafe Mix when lunch plans a friend suggested sounded bad (outdoor only when it was 119°), so said friend told me to suggest some other place in the area. I scoured the general area looking for restaurants. Cafe Mix fit both of our dietary requirements (hers vegetarian, mine omnivorous), and we both like Mediterranean food. So we met here. I arrived early, and I was hungry, so I ordered the dolmades. They were really good. Service was super fast. When my friend arrived, I got a gyro without onions. Everything was fantastic. Their hummus is good. I really liked the gyro meat. I can't say I'll be back because it was so far from where I live, and I have a Greek restaurant by me, but I do recommend coming here if you are in this area.

The lamb at Café Mix is absolutely unmatched!! When I say soul-soothing food, I mean the kind that warms you from the inside out--like a hug on a plate. Café Mix, you nailed it: the service, the attention to my allergy, the flavors, the music, and the vibe all come together to create a Friday night must-stop date night with your hubby (like we did). And the best part? It's just as perfect for bringing the whole family.

My son and I visited on Thursday. I rarely go to lunch. We were celebrating. He loves Greek and I'd been eyeing this spot when in the area. We didn't have to wait long to place the order. They have plenty of seating. We were served quickly. My son scarfed his down and said he enjoyed the meal. I was able to eat mine for lunch and dinner. My only complaint was I wish there had been more than one olive in my Greek salad. I wish there would've been baklava or some other Greek desserts available, too. Food was good, prices are reasonable, and the restaurant was clean.

I have had Middle Eastern food for decades and all over the world, including Greece and Southern Europe. This restaurant is just about the best there is. My wife is no great lover of beef but she ate it like there was no tomorrow. I had the best chicken I've ever tasted and I'm no great lover of chicken. Best quality I've seen in a Middle Eastern establishment. Don't miss this place, and the prices and quantity is great. If I could give it more stars I would. read more

My daughter and I were frequent flyers here in the last few months. Today I suggested it and she told me "never again!" Confused I asked why. Apparently the last time we were here she saw the salad cook making a salad with his bare hands! I don't know if it was hers or another poor customers. She ate it but now gets grossed out thinking about it. They do have awesome food ( thus the 2 star) but once you see something like that you can't unsee it. read more

I use to get their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich all of the time. BUT about one in 4 sandwiches did NOT HAVE ANY CHEESE ONE IT. Today a friend brought me a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and guess what??? No Cheese on it. Don't think the Manager is taking notice of what his workers are doing. read more

We were meeting an old high school buddy for lunch so we sought out this place and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and our friend who was a bit more of a mediterranean cuisine fan than we were, loved his plate of food. Service was great, staff was pleasant and we would return here again. A hidden treasure in this big shopping center. The falafel here is fresh and tastier than we have had in Manhattan, Studio City and London. Salads are very good and made to order. The atmosphere is very relaxed and nice; the service is quick with sharp and attentive wait staff. V consistent. 5 stars all the way! read more

I did a take out order and went in to pick it up to find the cashier wearing a mask but none of the people prepping the food. It's been one week since the mask mandate was lifted. I would have assumed restaurants would continue to be safe forever. I paid for my food but threw it away when I got home. I feel like covid should have taught us to be safe regardless but obviously not. The cashier was very nice with good customer service. We will not be back. read more

This used to be one of my favorite gems of Mesa. The service & the food was always top notch & amazing. But on Monday I stopped in and ordered my Greek Salad with chicken kabob meat & it was not the same. The chicken was not the same and was rather anemic. The lettuce was bad & the olives were not fresh but soggy. Honestly the food used to be amazing & super fresh & everything tasted wonderful. But this was so bad I couldn't eat it. This place is pretty great. The gyros are good (though I feel like an ass every time I say JaiRo and they say it back as GearO), the salad is good, greek fries are awesome (just tons of Feta melted on top), and baklavaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... Plus, it's usually only about a ten-minute wait for pick-up and the owners are pretty friendly. Not open on Sunday, which kinda sucks. read more

This mom and pop shop is crazy good and clearly it's extremely popular! We had to wait for a table because they were insanely slammed and the food took a bit to come out but the it's so worth the wait since it's made to order and super fresh and yummy! The owner was super kind and even apologized for the wait and gave us some free baklava. And I love watching them cook the food, they move at 100 miles an hour and don't miss a beat! My favorite Greek food spot, simply the best! read more

We've lived here for a year now and I always see this place when going to Walmart. Some friends told us it was good but we just never tried it until now. We just wanted something quick but not fast food and this place came to mind to try out. The food was really good. I got the Chicken Gyro which was amazing and my wife got the Felafel which she really liked. It was probably the the best Chicken Shawarma I have ever had. I'm no expert but I've had them at some different Armenian places in L.A. and so on and I was really impressed. It's a bummer we didnt try this place earlier but glad we know now that is so good. I really can't wait to go back when we have more time and order some more things. read more

There was a ton of tables and seats available and even TV's to watch on The walls. The food was brought to our table and it was delicious. The tzatziki sauce was our favorite with the tahini sauce coming in a close second. The garlic sauce was amazing but SUPER strong. I had a salad with my dinner and their house dressing was soooooo good. I took my own GF pita with me but I'm not sure if I need to next time - I was given a plate of cucumber sliced to eat with the hummus and it was divine. Before walking in there were corn hole and large connect 4 game in the front. Then at check in they have a huge Hidilao panda and a lighted AZ sign. Then from there they have a mini snack station with lemon water and plum juice to snack on if there was a wait. There were several various birthday balloons and signs for several seated booths. We were given wet wipes, hair ties, aprons. The tables come with a little stacked swivel shelves for putting more food so it won't crowd the tables. There was a station for making the sauces as well as rice porridge and some fruits. And there was a dessert station too. They offer all you can eat for $37 for set A or $47 for set B which is the premium. We selected the $37 AYCE. We chose mushroom and tomato soup base enjoyed pork belly, beef brisket, basa fish, Napa cabbage, enoki, corn, bean curd, and more. They have 3 options for Bogo free of the milk tea. A few staff came over to sing happy birthday and give a cheese cake slice. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was so full and would happily come back again.

When this visit first started, I was honestly very disappointed. There were several moments during the ordering process that negatively affected our experience. I was repeatedly interrupted while ordering, my request to use the same soup base in two sections of the four-part pot for my child was denied, and after choosing the All You Can Eat option, I was immediately warned about leftover penalties before we had even started ordering. Those interactions made me feel more like I was being monitored than welcomed, which was very different from the level of hospitality I expected from Haidilao. Instead of ignoring my concerns, the dining room manager, Evi, took the time to listen to everything I had to say. I explained my entire experience, including my disappointment from a previous visit when I ordered a Zootopia promotion but was never told about or given the promotional gift. Evi was patient, professional, and genuinely wanted to understand why I was unhappy. More importantly, the management acknowledged my feedback and told me they would review and improve these issues. They also generously comped our entire meal, which I appreciated--not because I wanted free food, but because it showed they took customer feedback seriously. After those initial issues, the rest of our meal was excellent. The food quality was great, and the service for the remainder of the visit was attentive, friendly, and exactly what I had hoped for when coming to Haidilao. Nobody gets everything right every time. What matters to me is how a business responds when something goes wrong. In this case, they listened instead of arguing, took responsibility instead of making excuses, and made a sincere effort to make things right. Because of that attitude, I'm happy to update my review to 5 stars. I truly hope the improvements we discussed become part of the experience for every future customer, because that's the Haidilao reputation people come here expecting.

Visited cafe mix yet again, and for the first time I was greatly disappointed, I was waited on by a dark haired girl, she was rude, had an attitude problem, and seemed to argue about what items we were requesting to be taken off our order due to allergies, I've never seen anything like it, after our order was brought out to us it was wrong all items we requested to be taken off were not, and our sever ignored us for 10min, a new girl we seen helped us by replacing our order correctly and promptly, awesome server by the way, take notes management, because the dark hair sever seemed to really talk down the the new girl that helped us, this dark haired girl ruined our experience and Because of this we will not be returning. Definitely my favorite! Me and my brother just went there 15 min before closing, I don't think we have ever been treated that well at another restaurant. My brother ordered a greek salad with chicken kabob and I ordered a Philly gyro, after talking to the owner Sam, he recommended me adding jalapeño, OH MY GOD it was so good and We couldn't even finish it! We ended up taking it home so We could enjoy it tomorrow. I see some bad reviews in here and I really don't get it. I LOVE THIS PLACE The food at this place is great and authentic. The beef Gyros are delicious and so are the salads. The guy who runs this place (and works the register, I think he's the owner) is an absolute jerk. He treats his customers poorly, and it doesn't look like his employees are happy to be there, either. I can't say I blame them. If you go to this place, tread lightly because the owner guy who will take your order will probably be pissed off that you are even there. read more

We had a yummy meal here! The staff was very friendly and helpful with menu choices. The food was great, we all had different things and loved it all! Mine was the appetizer of Hummus with Gyros & Pita - it as great, I ate the whole thing! The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable.
