This little cafe has become one of my must-stop places when going to/from Atlanta! This was my second time visiting, with the last visit being a year ago, and I swear the owner looked at me like she'd remembered me from before. Service was quick and friendly! I stopped this time to have my mother try a croffle for the first time ever. We both ordered the Lotus croffle, and I also had a strawberry lemonade. My mom purchased mini pecan cookies to take home. All were delicious! I love that their desserts are just sweet enough without being overly sugary. A perfect laid back cafe with ample seating for studying, quick meetings, or coffee dates.
This was my first visit here the young lady 6/30, was very friendly and explained to me how the croffle is made and how it tastes. I decided on the Crème Brûlée Croffle it was delicious and will definitely return and order that flavor again. I can understand why the Crème Brûlée is the best seller. There's plenty of spacious seating inside, this is an overall place to come study or meet up and talk for a girls afternoon out over matcha or coffee. I also ordered mango matcha and I did not like it very much as it was not sweet at all. The young lady said she could adjust the sweetness. It didn't work for me this time so I'll try it again my next visit and stress that I'd like it sweetened a lot little more than the usual sweetness. UPDATE: Earlier I said I didn't like my Mango Matcha, now I have to change that once I put the straw in my cut and stirred the matcha it was delicious. I didn't realize I shouldn't drink it from the cup without stirring first. I feel so silly now. I changed my four stars to five stars and a newbie like me now will know to stir the matcha first. I received an awards card after ten stamps I believe I get a free item. Sounds fun. Parking is not a problem there's plenty. I can't wait to visit here again.
Super cute and minimalist place with great food and drink options. Cafe flat was a coffee meeting spot for me to catch up Roth and old friend. The volume level was great and we were able to have a great conversation without being interrupted by loud music or ambiance. I decided to try something new and go for a peach tea americano and it was AMAZING. No joke I literally looked up the recipe right after to see if I could make it at home. The flavors of the eta and coffee blended perfectly and I was able to finish it very quickly. The seating is nice and I would consider coming back here to get some work done if it wasn't so far away! They have other unique coffee and tea options so I definitely recommend if you're looking to try something new.
Cute and aesthetic coffee shop with lots of seating! The cashier was kind and patient as we decided on our croffle - so many flavors to choose from! We ended up with the creme brulee croffle, blueberry cream croissant, and einspanner drink. The creme brulee croffle was amazing - thick and tasty custard with a crunchy top that paired well with the croffle. The croffles here are pre-made, so they don't come hot like other spots. We didn't mind for this flavor. The cream croissant on the other hand was a bit dry - wish the croissant was more buttery - the pastry felt papery or leathery in a way. The cream inside was good though. The einspanner was a wildcard pick for us - ended up being a very strong coffee with a layer of whipped cream on top. Super good if you like strong coffees! Also not sweet which is how we like it. Would come back to try more drinks & other croffles!
I tried a hot oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon along with a canelé while my son tried an iced dirty matcha latte from Cafe Flat. Service was fast and friendly. The space is bright, open, and laidback. It's a great place to work or study as they have lots of tables. Cafe Flat offers more than just coffee and tea. They also serve pastries and desserts like croffles, cheesecakes, bingus, and more. They all looked tempting, but I just stuck to my coffee and canelé, which were both wonderful. My son also enjoyed his matcha.
This was my first time at Cafe Flat. I wanted a hot drink before I stopped by my grandparents' house and they live right down the street. I came across this shop by looking on Apple Maps, and they had a bunch of good reviews. Upon entering, I was surprised how big the shop is. The vibe is very minimalistic with an emphasis on high quality food and drinks. They had a pretty big menu! Not only do they have a bunch of drink (both coffee and tea) options, which you can get hot or iced, but they have quite a few food options too. They mainly have like pastries and smaller type things, but they do have some bigger sandwiches as well. The drink menu is pretty unique! I got a pistachio latte, which was honestly pretty good. I had some questions about the other drinks on the menu, and the worker (I am assuming the owner) was knowledgeable about it and provided me with further detail about the drinks. I paid about $7 for my latte, which wasn't terrible, but upon getting my cup, it felt like it wasn't filled to the top. It would've been nice for it to be completely full, but I'm not too made about it. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. They also do have a stamp card, where after every 10 stamps, you get a free drink I believe. I don't normally come to this area too often, but I kept the card anyways. I would come back for sure, if I ever found myself wanting a good coffee.
The flavor of the yuzu croffle was light and good but the croffle itself was kinda stale and hard. It was very difficult to cut to eat. I liked that there were decaf coffee options but the drinks weren't good/ fairly watered down. Could barely taste the coffee. We tried the iced dalgona latte and vanilla latte. The cafe was well lit and the music wasn't too loud. However with the food and drinks being lackluster, we prob won't be coming back.
Lots of drinks and croffle options here! Stopped by last Friday to do some remote work with friends. This is a good place to work, study, or catch up with friends. The inside is very spacious, airy, and has minimalist decor. I tried the Iced Pistachio Latte and Iced Mango Matcha Latte. The pistachio latte was good with strong nutty flavor. I also liked the mango matcha but it was a little too sweet.
I've been meaning to try this place out and I absolutely love the unique croffle options! I got the strawberry fresh cream & yuza cream cheese croffle and they were the perfect sweet! Not overpowering. My favorite was the yuza cream cheese, it reminds me of lemon drop cookies. I also bought some of their macaroons here and they were good, a little more on the sweeter side though. Service was kind and fast. I'll be coming back to try more!
I was craving some yummy Croffles, and noticed this place had high ratings... So the place is chic, with a minimalist decor...and I liked the overhead music played. Even initially, I was a bit disappointed with a rather skimpy variety of Croffles displayed in their window. For some reason, I expected more varieties...and in a way, a more polished display? I decided to try 2 flavors of their Croffles...Blueberry and Injeolmi flavors...and here's the deal. The flavors were really good, but the textures were way off. Not soft, warm, fresh or anything. Nothing like what I had at TwoHa's, for instance! In fact, these Croffles were somewhat hardened, and it was extremely difficult to eat them with the cheap, plastic fork and knife given. I basically had to eat with my hands. Ultimately, it was very disappointing. Given the high ratings here, I expected these Croffles to be fresh, warm, soft...the whole works. Nope...they almost had a hard, stale texture. Again, nothing like the high quality, warm, soft Croffles I've tried elsewhere. I also tried their Iced Matcha Latte...and well, it was WARM. They didn't put enough ice in the drink. Again, disappointing. I doubt I'll be returning here.
What a cute little cafe with great croffles and treats along with plenty of drinks! My friends and I stopped by here in the morning to get breakfast and hangout. We all got three different croffles, and I got the strawberry fresh cream one along with an earl gray latte. They do have plenty of milk options as well which was well appreciated. It took a bit of time to get our food and drinks since there were a few orders ahead of us, but overall I really enjoyed my food and coffee! I've never had a croffle like this one and liked how crispy yet soft it was. The fresh cream had a faint sweetness level and was so airy and light and liked the strawberries on top to complement the dish. I also enjoyed my coffee and liked how there was a faint taste of earl gray in every sip and wasn't overly sweet. The ambiance of the place is quite clean and modern with plenty of seating available to do work or catch up with friends. There's also a giant size parking lot in the front. Overall, a great cafe and can't wait to come back if I'm in the area!

We tried a savory sausage croissant and a sweet Nutella strawberry dessert and they were both perfectly delicious. Service is so friendly and patient if you have questions about the menu. The coffee and lattes have all been great. I have been here a couple times and it has consistently been well made. I always worry about the burnt espresso taste or lack of flavor with my drinks, but so far it's been good here. There are so many different croffles here both sweet and savory. They are simple and taste great. I haven't had a chance to try all their breads or bingsu but will have to try. The staff is friendly and work on your drinks/foods after you order like most cafes or coffee shops. The cafe is very open and spacious. I appreciate that the tables and chairs have adequate space between them so that it doesn't feel too crowded or cluttered. There is a lot of natural light with the windows which is also nice to have. Lastly, this place is very clean and comfortable to sit and catch up with friends or work at. Will be coming back! read more
Currently obsessed with this place and hope business grows! The vibe, aesthetics, service, and drinks are a 10/10. Lattes are honestly so unique and also tasty which makes them stand out from the rest of the coffee shops in the area. My personal favorite is the black sesame ice cream and the chestnut latte. The croffles are worth trying too. I've tried sweet and savory ones and was impressed with the flavors and generous portions (croffle itself is a bit hard most likely from the sugary glaze). read more

We've visited Cafe Flat twice and their croffles are amazing and so unique! The yuzu cream croffle is to die for. I also really enjoyed the Nutella latte! Definitely worth a trip! read more

The ambiance of Cafe Flat is nice and calming. The barista was very sweet and attentive, and the coffee and croffle were tasty! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple but delicious snack. They also have multiple outlets on the tables that are against the wall, so if you're looking to do work it's also a great place. read more

Customer Service 5/5 Croffles 5/5 Coffee 4.5/5 Found this place while driving by. It's in a small plaza across from Jinya ramen in Duluth. It's one of the few places that offer food in the same plaza so there were plenty of parkings. The interior is black and white, minimalistic and nicely decorated. They had these cool speakers that looked minimal, but sound-wise, very high quality. For a Korean coffee shop, the server was so so nice. Mostly because he actually made eye contact and smiled. It's a small things that count toward the experience. The picture didn't do it justice, but the display of Croffles were so mouth-watering. Lots of options. We ended up getting the Ang Butter Croffle and Matcha Cream Croffle for food along with Regular Black Coffee and Caramel Latte for drinks. Ang Butter Croffle: there were slices of butter that made it tasted so good. The croffle itself was coated in a thin layer of sugar, that was really delicious. Matcha Cream Croffle: I loved the white cream on top. It was thick and the powder matcha was high quality. (The plastic utensils provided were difficult to use to cut the croffles though.) Black Coffee: It was good I guess. My boyfriend liked it since it's not my preference. Caramel Latte: It was nicely sweetened and balanced. The coffee bean had a natural toasty taste to it. Reminds me of the ones I had in Louisville, KY. I hope the customer service continues to be friendly since with so many Korean cafes, it's the one thing that stands out most. read more

When you first walk in, you're greeted with plenty of seats around the cafe, and a very modern/minimalistic setting. There's soft cafe music playing in the background, but conversations kinda override the music. Not a place I would study personally, since it's a bit distracting. But cool vibes here! Service was very quick and simple. The person handling the register was patient, and another lady helped out as well ~ Black Sesame Ice cream Latte * has a coffee base with black sesame ice cream added on top * coffee base by itself is not too bitter, taste more milky * coffee and ice cream combined is a nice sweet taste, but black sesame is very subtle ~ Blueberry Cream Cheese * base was a croffle * cream cheese was very light and sweet! * I liked the fresh blueberries used, wasn't tart at all ~ Yuzu Cream Cheese * base was a croffle * cream cheese had bits of citrus/yuzu pieces in it * a slice of yuzu added on top for decor but i ate it ~ Corn Cheese * pretty simple, kinda wish it was warmed a bit more for the cheese to melt * has a hint of sweetness to it ~ Sausage & Cheese * three pieces of cheese, with a sausage underneath the layers * i think there was an egg yolk in the middle as well, so that was a pleasant surprise * a slight hint of sweetness from the croffle too read more

The ambiance of this cafe is amazing! Very aesthetically pleasing and not too crowded. Even the bathroom is aesthetic. The space is clean as well. Most of the tables in the back have a charging area for those who want to study at the cafe. I have been here many times and had the chance to try out most of the croffle flavors. Verdict: get the YUZU cream croffle. It was so light and refreshing while still being a great filling dessert. The matcha and biscoff flavors were great as well! I will say though, I am not the biggest fan of the matcha drink as I think it tasted a little watered down. Get the strawberry matcha instead. They also have a great point card system, where you can get a free drink if you ordered 10 times. Really a great place to catch up with friends or study. The parking lot is also spacious so don't have to worry about parking. The lady (not sure if she is the owner) who is always there is very sweet, took her time explaining the croffles to us and keeps the place clean. She wiped down all the chairs and tables after each person left. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

Cafe Flat is one of my favorite coffee shops at the moment. The selection of caneles and croffles is mindblowing. Their pastry selection really sets this cafe apart from other coffee shops to me. I've tried the blueberry cream cheese and strawberry Nutella croffle. Both are super delicious. They are crispy on the outside and the toppings add a little twist to each. The peach ade here is my favorite out of all coffee shops in GA. The peach flavor is very potent/flavorful which is complemented by its carbonation that gives it a refreshing taste. The aesthetics are very modern and the music selection is chill. It's a great spot to get work done and socialize. The baristas here are very hard-working, kind, and welcoming as well. They gave out free cream puffs with every order at one point as well. They're continuously adding new items to the menu and I'm excited to come again! read more

This place is more of a studio vibe. Overall, this place would've been 2 stars if it weren't for the black season ice cream and grapefruit lemon tea. Those were soooo good that I can go back again and again and never get tired of them. The croffle, on the other hand, was hard as a rock and stale. Shouldn't croffles melt in your mouth once you bite into it? But not this place. You can get a chipped teeth after eating from here because it's that hard! Presentation is cute but quality of the croffles:1 Star. Anything other than croffles is definitely good. read more

The café has a lot of natural sunlight and relaxing music which is good for studying or just hanging out with friends. The drinks here are really yummy and I always make sure to get a croffle! The owner is such a joyous and welcoming person as well. One of my favorite local cafés! read more

tried other items after second visit, updated to 5 stars. - the vanilla icecream croffle: croffle itself has a nice texture, not the softest so it was hard eating with plastic utensils, but had a really nice mouthfeel so that's all it matters - einspänner: the whipped cream was thick and mildly sweet, wasn't too quick to melt, it's one of the better einspänners i've had so far - it was a lot busier this time, but the loudness level is barely higher. you can still get work done without being distracted. come early if you want a seat with outlets to charge your electronics read more

I absolutely LOVE the different flavors of croffles Cafe Flat offers. I've tried the black sesame ice cream, yuzu cream, and apple cream, and my favorite has to be the yuzu. The slight tartness cuts through the sweet cream, and the crispy croffle is the perfect vehicle for the cream. I also LOVE the black sesame ice cream they make in-house. AMAZING. I also loved their chestnut latte (non-caffeinated). It was super nutty and warm. In addition, the atmosphere is minimalist, and I love the simple decor. read more

Super clean/ simple cafe! There weren't many outlets from what we saw, so it might not be the best place if you're trying to stay there for a while to study. But the croffles were super chewy and tasty! read more

Fell in love with the peanut cream latte and have been coming back every Monday. I've tried the apple croffle and the yuzu cream cheese croffle. Apple is still #1. Can't wait to try the other croffles. They are served cold but it doesn't take away from it. They are soft and crispy and delicious. Their coffee is mild, it doesn't have that bitter sour after taste. It's actually quite delightful. I love that the barista recommended different drinks based off the one I ordered. The first time we visited the cafe, we actually drove back from the dog park to grab one of the drinks the barista recommended. It was the grapefruit ade and it was amazing. It had chunks of grapefruit, stems of thyme and it's carbonated! read more
