For the past 2 Tuesday's my family has gone for the Tuesday Special. On both occasions the staff seemed unable to handle the patrons. This week we complained to a young woman who seemed to be a manger. We did receive an additional discount but I really don't think that is going to go far enough to solve the problem. The wait staff and their assistants have to change the way they feel towards the paying customers. It seems the children are in charge of the asylum. read more

I have given this place multiple chances because the food is decent. However the service is just atrocious! I will not be going back. The pizza is square and disgusting. They give you bread if you order a meal and it has a great olive oil dipping sauce. The salad is also good. I really have no complaints about the food, other than the pizza. Now, the service is a different story. I've gone here about 4 times and each time the service was worse. They give you a menu and take your drink order but take forever to bring your drinks. Then after they take your order you wait quite a while for your meal. But none of this was the worst part. Each time I've been here, they take about 30-60 minutes to take my credit card after I've received the bill! After I get the bill it's like no one is around anymore! It's like they're begging you to walk out with out paying! This has happened every time I've gone! I've had to ask a bus boy to take it or get the waitress! Ridiculous. read more

Very poor service tonight. Waitress forgot my husbands drink for more than half of dinner, service of food was extremely slow. Spent 2 hours for dinner with a 20 month old, not cool. Never was served a 2nd drink, since the waitress was barely at our table. My meal was poor, I got the vodka sauce on pasta and it was BURNT flavored. They must have scorched the sauce and not realized it? I had everyone at the table taste it and they said the same, you couldn't even eat it. There were so many people lined up at the door I felt like they were starring at me to hurry up......the turn around time on tables was horrible, hence the 2 hour dinner. Would I go again, no.....not with service like that. Our entire table of 6 was disappointed. read more

I came across a bad review about Colarussos cafe just recently about there service, I have to say my family and I have been going there for years! In my opinion the food is amazing and the wait staff and management couldn't be more on top of things! I've never gotten anything but the best when we visit this restaurant! I visited this restaurant recently with my husband and sister. My sister and I both purchased a certificate for this restaurant that was going to expire. We asked if we both could use them but have separate checks. Teresa the owner said we would have to sit at separate tables. That was fine but I pushed the tables together a little with a small space in between so she would not have to sit alone. Teresa saw this and spoke very rude and loudly (they pushed the tables together) . She seemed very upset. She should have come over to us privately instead of saying that out loud where I heard from it my table.I should have asked her first if I could move. I was sorry I didn't. It took a while for the waitress to come over. After about 25 minutes we received our salads and bread. We asked where our drinks were and the waitress, said I was busy getting your drinks and salads very rudely. Two minutes later our meals came out. Mine was cold. My sister ordered pizza to have before her dinner, they came out the same time. I never went to a place where you did not have time to eat a salad and bread before the meal. We never saw the waitress again till it was time to leave. Not even to check to see if we needed a refill (which we did). My sister needed boxes and the waitress never came over, a young boy gave her a box, she gave him the tip instead of the waitress. I left the waitress a tip which wasn't deserved. My last time we were there before the service wasn't good, which you wont know unless someone tells you. I never said anything the last time.it is a shame because we do like your restaurant's food. I think I do deserve an apology for your waitress services. read more

I used the order pickup for the first time on Yelp. I had a ten minute drive which turned into almost twenty due to traffic near the school. Got to the restaurant and they are closed for renovations. My family of 4 went and we got 4 dinners and an appetizer and the bill was only $64! The food is always excellent and comes out the same everyone. They downsized their menu quite a bit which is sad. There were some things I really likes that are now gone but overall the food is great and cheap. The service was good but not excellent, but then again, who goes to a restaurant for good service.. Just wanted to give a shout out to one of our favorite places to eat. My wife and I are frequent visitors - like every week - and have never received a bad meal. I order pizza from these guys at least once a month. If you have a limited view of pizza (NY style is the only legit pizza) then maybe its not for you...but I recommend trying it to expand your horizons. Great pizza...nice place! read more

My husband and I went here about 6 years ago when we lived in Jessup. I ordered some kind of pasta in red sauce and my husband ordered tripe. The owner was our waitress. When she brought our meals my husband asked for more bread (we had two slices left) because he likes to mop the sauce. The owner said "Are you really going to finish all that bread?" When my husband told her yes, she said she will bring us more bread once the bread in our basket was gone. We didn't see her again until she put our check on the table. We both agreed we will not return. Recently, we had to return because my mother in-law chose that place for her bday dinner. There was 10 people at our table. The waiter brought all of our meals out except my father in-laws. He said his will be right out. 10 minutes later after most of us were half way done eating, the waiter came out and said the kitchen forgot to make his dinner. He had to take his meal to go and they did give it to him for free, but the staff just can't handle their patrons. Management is very poor. Although their food is very good, it isn't good enough to overlook their poor service. read more
