When we did get our drinks, they were so hot we couldn't hold them much less drink them and my "americano" was weak and had no cream like I had asked. There is no way that hot water comes out of the faucet this hot, so I highly doubt this is actually an americano. It does not taste like espresso. My husband got a chai latte and I swear it tastes like the instant powdered chai you can get from the grocery store and it was waaayy too sweet. They also came in generic styrofoam cups. I guess if you like super sugary drinks and the ease of a drive up location, you'd like this. But if you actually like coffee and are searching for something good, you'd may want to choose something else.

He quickly came over with a couple of menus, told us the specials, and gave us a few minutes to decide. The dining room was simple, clean, comfortable, lighting was good, and the noise level was low so we were able to hold a normal conversation. I went with their half-rack of ribs with fries and the ribs portion was more like a full rack! The BBQ sauce was laid on a little heavy but I just scraped off the excess and it used it as a dip for my fries. It was a great choice. Great service and food at a good value. 5-stars.

Valley Foods, the only actual grocery store that can be counted on having longevity in the Platte…read moreValley. All in all it's not a bad grocery store at all. The basics in your grocery needs can be counted on for them to have unless some unusual situation is going on. The variety on selection is okay. I mean it kind of is the situation you deal with when shopping in a rural community. The produce is pretty fresh as well as the meat department. The liquor store is decent as well. Plenty of variety on hard alcohol or ingredients for mixed drinks. They have a craft beer selection and while one would expect it to be small they do have some Wyoming based breweries which is nice to get a hold of for a four pack or six pack. As one would expect don't expect a huge variety on ethnic foods like Asian condiments or things like that. Again the basics are covered but nothing to specific. Despite what may sound like a review with criticism it's more a preparation of what to expect or not expect. This grocery store is truly vital to the Platte Valley without getting yourself into a lengthy drive to go to another town outside the valley. This is the area where I grew up and while changes have happened to this building and ownership changed over the decades it's still kind of a magnet to run into old acquaintances.

There aren't many options for catering lunch in Rawlins/Sinclair area, but Su Casa is prepared with an established catering menu. The team were really great to work with from the start to the finish. I recommend ordering the day before to give the kitchen time to prepare. I selected a tray of beef and chicken tacos, flautas, green chile, guacamole, pico de gallo, beans & rice and sopapillas for desert. I was very pleased at the execution of the order and everyone really enjoyed the lunch. There wasn't anything I wouldn't order again -- the homemade salsa is always a great addition to any order. Just the right amount of heat. If you know this part of the country, there are not many food options. I've always found this restaurant to provide good value given the rather remote nature of the town (Sinclair). I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
