There were only two things in the salad table that were not vegan, otherwise everything was vegan. The staff was aware and helped us. Almost all of the dishes were outstanding. The black beans and refried beans - not spicy just perfectly cooked and seasoned. I went three times to have it with everything I tried. The protein, the salads, the tacos and tostadas were all outstanding. Some dishes as they were over over, new dishes were replaced making it harder for us to try everything. The food, the beverages all of it were very good. Simply home cooked type meals and reasonably priced. The staff was great and they cleaned up nicely. The inside is also very tidy. The stairs going up is a bit odd. Wish they took cards as well. All else this a very good restaurant that we are glad we tried.

I mean, how does Chef Marco do it?!!! I couldn't believe the gluten free crust was actually gluten free - it was THAT good. Also tried the gluten free rigatoni pasta with pesto and bell peppers, as well as the regular rigatoni pasta with pesto & bell peppers. LOVED both. Usually our little toddler who is gluten free has to compromise on taste or quality, but not in this restaurant. When the Chef heard he was GF, he even prepared special GF bread out of GF pizza crust as an appetizer for the table (served along with pesto and balsamic glaze). In our 3 day stay in PV, we had 3 meals here -- lunch, dinner, as well as takeout. I could write an entire essay about how good this restaurant was in terms of the quality of food (also tried the Eggplant Parm which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, as well as the vegan tiramisu). The ambience (esp at dinner) and service (esp at lunch) was so good. If you are into excellent quality Italian food, this restaurant is for you. The restaurant is essentially a large open air patio (that's covered) with a view of the river. A small lunch menu, but a nice selection that should satisfy. Best part is the food was quite tasty and made with fresh ingredients, I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and they were perfectly seasoned with a great enchilada sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. Prices here are fair and the enchilada portion plate was more than enough for one grown man. There's a large bar and people were sipping margaritas and cocktails. I enjoyed the Micheladas. I'm not an ice cream eater; however, if you are, you absolutely must come here because the other patrons were enjoying several kinds of ice cream that looked quite delicious and unusual. And you could peruse the freezer and choose the type of flavor that you wanted. I would absolutely come back. Margaritas were fresh and tasty, but did take quite a while to receive. The location of the restaurant, being away from the water and sort of tucked into the village streets, makes it a little close and stuffy, even sitting outside, but if you prefer heat, you will enjoy this!
