My son went in the restaurant to pick up the order. I did not notice until we reached home that he did not have the 2 cans of soda which I had selected as "free" items. I called the restaurant to let them know the mistake. The lady who answered was very rude and said I got free rice with the Pu Pu Platter for two. However the menu includes the rice with the platter. It's not the fact that I didn't get the sodas as indicated on the receipt because I could easily purchase sodas. The fact that the representative lied and was not concerned about good customer service and would not admit a mistake. My family has bought food from Cafe Asia for over 15 years as we live less than a mile away. But they are now on my "NEVER WILL I EVER" list from this day forward. read more

This is a great Chinese restaurant. It's takeout only, which is a shame because their food is so good they would pack a large restaurant full of customers every night. I use to get our Chinese food from Chinatown but no longer go there. The food is not what it used to be. Not sure if it was a change in ownership or what happened but something brought about a change that made me decide to find another place for the few times a year we buy Chinese food. Even the duck sauce was different. It was a watered down version of what Chinatown once served. Cafe Asia was an improvement so that's where we get our takeout when we feel like having Chinese food. Great chinese food here! Wings are huuuge and crispy and delicious!! Crab Rangoon is crunchy and filled up really good. The vegetable fried rice is also wicked good. It has onions, peas, red and green peppers, water chestnuts, mushroom and bean sprouts! Yum! Customer service is great! The lady at the front is very friendly and you can tell she's working hard to get your order ready. Parking lot is small but it's really just take out here. There are 2 small tables but mostly just chairs to wait for your takeout. Great menu! Some really good specials 7 days a week and prices are very reasonable. Cooler with Pepsi, Coke and Sunkist products. Open till 11 on Friday and saturday but they close at 10 every other day. Only real gripe: I wish i got a fortune cookie in with my order. read more

This place is truly a diamond in the rough! I would have never stopped or tired just by driving by but a friend of mine told me this was the only chinese food they would eat, so why not? Boy was I surprised! They have the best chinese chicken wings around, no contest! They are darkly cooked which makes me think they are marinated for some time in delicious teriyaki sauce. The chicken teriyaki is delicious as well. You can actually taste the teriyaki instead of some places where the chicken just taste like KFC wings. If you live near by you must give them a taste! My mother drives from Boston just to get the chicken wings and bring them home, they are that good!! read more

Really friendly folks! The food is great and they're our family "go to" for Chinese-American food. Portions are great, prices solid and they're genuinely nice folks. We've been ordering here for years. Standard warning, they get pretty busy on some holidays so definitely check with them. The problem here is the mistakes they make when taking and preparing orders. Last night was no exception. I placed an order by phone for 4 entrees and 2 appetizers. I carefully read each item directly from their takeout menu to insure accuracy. Each time I stated the item the female order taker replied with an abrupt "Yep!" "Yep!" "Yep!" My wife paid for and picked up the order which was stapled closed in a large bag. Sure enough, after returning home we found an entree was missing. A call to Cafe Asia resulted in the same rude customer service others have noted. Although they did admit they did not include the entree, they never apologized for the mistake in any way or expressed any concern about it. They just told my wife to come back and get the item. My wife made another trip back to Cafe Asia to pick up the missing entree. Of course, by the time she returned home, the original order sitting on the kitchen counter was already getting cold. Well, I am done with this place and their incompetence, carelessness and poor attitude. I will be patronizing other restaurants that offer good food and know the importance of being courteous and accurate and understand the importance of offering good customer service. Cafe Asia has no clue about any of these things. Please, if you decide to patronize Cafe Asia and place a phone order, do yourself a favor: Open the take home bag right at their counter and check that you have everything ordered. I would also check any delivered orders before the driver leaves your doorstep. Its extra effort, sure, but necessary because you just can't trust them to fill orders properly. Good luck! read more

I have been ordering delivery from here for 3 years since I moved into the area, Food is actually not bad used to be a lot better though. However, I am going to start ordering from a different location since I went in to pick my food up for the first time. Building is not the nicest, but inside is clean enough. Kitchen looked surprisingly clean. The issue is that when I was picking up my food I saw the two cooks in the back playing with a women's adult sex toy. I am not kidding - it was flesh colored. Ok so this is my favorite chinese spot. Let me tell you why. They have the greatest wonton soup, its full of flavor, big wontons, boneless pork, scallions, water chestnuts, cabbage, carrots...omg! One night when I got out of work, kind of late, I was starving! I call Cafe Asia, knowing they were closing soon, but I was just so hungry. I kept getting set back, and didn't make it there to pick up my order until after they closed. I felt horrible because what a jerk move on my part! However they were so sweet and stayed open, and they're still so nice to me. They have excellent chinese food too....really good. You gotta try it! read more

Doesn't look that great when you drive by- but we have been living in Holbrook for almost 5 years and hadn't yet found a good place for Chinese food! Everything we've had off the menu is delicious. It's been mentioned in other reviews that sometimes they get the order wrong, but it has only ever worked out in our favor so far ( they often give us large side orders when we ask for small ). If you're really concerned, you can check your order before leaving. But the food is worth it! read more

This lady was rude and kept rushing me. The other phone would ring she would ask me to hold on. Then she would get back on phone and tell me to start my order new again. Below are my results. Ordered fried rice with extra onion. No extra onion and dry Beef teriyaki was dryer then grass during a drought crab ragoon how can you fuck this up. They did was so under cooked it was actually grease soaked even the tips of them were moist. Spring roll was the biggest I ever seen but like the crab soaked in grease. When you cook something in grease you need to fully cook it!!!!!!!! Now ill probably get sick and shit all night like a cow on hormones. They should open there eyes and figure out how to make things right, Start by firing that fucking bitch who answers the phone. My grandparents & I order from Cafe Asia often. Food always tastes great and is made quickly, the woman at the counter is always kind, and it's right next to my work - so it's very convenient! My favorite is the fried rice, but, I've never disliked anything I've tried at this place. I never go out of my way to eat chicken (I prefer beef or pork), but their chicken wings are to die for. Half the time I decide to order Chinese food it's because I want the chicken wings from here. This Chinese take out spot is a hidden gem and great for people in the Brookville / Brookfield neighborhoods of Holbrook and Brockton. Would recommend pick up rather than Delivery just to avoid a wait.. They can have huge orders ready in less than 20 mins and food always tastes hot and fresh. As previously mentioned the chicken wings are awesome as are the fried scallion. Pineapple fried rice is delicious. My wife loves their soups. read more

Often they for get to put in sauces or fortune cookies, often orders are wrong, and if you call on a busy night (like new years eve) they will put you on hold for a long time and probably hang up on you. This is my place. I love within 2 miles of Cafe Asia and I love it. The location is on the corner of a busy intersection but there is parking on the side. It is not a place you eat at strictly take out and it could probably use some cleaning but I can not lie I think they have some great soup and some of the better Chinese food in the area. I came to this place with a big order that came up to about $38.95.. if you haven't eaten here before, you are supposed to get a free crab Rangoon or any other option listed once you buy $40 or more. I had informed the woman up front that I would buy a 2 liter soda for about $2.75 more. The woman insisted say that it has to be $40 of food purchased. At this point I was upset that they would have such a stupid rule. I try to compromise with the lady and told her to change one of my appetizers to a large so that my total would be $40 worth of food. In the end the lady said that my order still didn't equal the $40. I had did the math myself and the total before tax came out to $42. I was furious and told the lady that it does. Please do not come here unless you want to be scammed. I don't understand why they would have that rule if it bothers them so much to give free food. read more

Has been my go to place for crab Rangoon UNTIL tonight when one was just a wrapper - completely empty and the shrimp lo mein we ordered was either chicken or pork. Sadly, they argued and tried to say it was shrimp (seriously!!!!). The place has been going downhill in quality and service over the past year. Time to find a new place. read more

This place is nothing to look at from the outside but the food is very good. Their chicken wings are the best I have ever had with a nice crispy skin. I only have 2 complaints. First is that one time I called for delivery and they would not accept payment by credit card over the phone stating they needed to see the actual card! When I told them I would show the card to the delivery person, that, for some unknown reason, was unacceptable. Go figure? I was able to scrape up enough cash to have them deliver then discovered after we started eating they forgot the egg rolls. I called them and told them what had happened and the woman says "you come pick up in 10 minute". I said that my original order was for delivery and that I expected the food they had forgotten to be delivered as well. She wasn't happy, but the egg rolls were delivered within 30 minutes. They are skimpy on the duck sauce so ask for extra. read more

The food is ok, not the greatest. If I would compare their food, it would be similar to food out in more urban areas example Mattapan sqaure. If you have a craving for something greasy, this is the place for you. I would stick to just the fried rice and appetizers. All in all a great takeout experience. Awesome Pupu Platter. Wings and crab Rangoon are absolutely outstanding. The fried rice you get free with the PuPu Pleatter is dry but if you order the meatless vegetable fried rice its is absolutely delicious. My biggest complaint that irks me to no end is you receive 2 tiny duck sauce with your order after that its 50 cents for each additional. Absolutely ridiculous! So to get an adequate amount of sauce it may cost you 2 to 3 dollars. So instead of 19.95 it would cost up to 22.95. When I inquired the cashier said I don't make that decision. The owner however said it was because of the cost he charges the customer. That's all well and good however if that's what I have to pay for me to get the normal amount I would get somewhere else it is unacceptable. read more
