This cafe was a bit of a surprise, hidden away on a predominantly residential street. I strolled in looking for a drink to cure my three thirty-itis and came across customers relaxing in the quiet, tree surrounded courtyard enjoying an afternoon cup of coffee. Inside, the warm lighting highlights the extensive chalkboard menu above the counter. The inviting cake cabinet beckons as you stand there wondering what to order.
Since I was full from lunch I was a little boring and decided to settle with a cold drink from their refrigerator. My Spring Valley juice doesn't give me much to say in way of recommendation of this place, but I really enjoyed the setting. It is a little place beside not much else but the road, so the view is not spectacular, but the trees make the courtyard feel somewhat enclosed and it is still a quiet, relaxing place.
I have checked out some other reviews which were all very flattering, raving about the food, so I have made a mental note to return and see what all the fuss is about.
