Breakfast options seem a little limited with regards to traditional fare, with this cafe instead trying to explore more of a vego/funky(?) offering. Interested in bacon or ham on anything for breakfast? It'll cost extra! They offer an Eggs Benedict which has no ham(!?) With regards to service, staff are friendly and polite but not especially responsive. Service is barely adequate, and certainly not good or fast. 45 minute wait on a second coffee, after having asked two floor staff for the already ordered and paid for coffee. When it did finally arrive, it was especially bitter and the milk was burnt. But they get points for 'trying' as they upgraded the coffee to an 'extra large' - but undrinkable coffee is still undrinkable coffee, regardless of size! Given that it was not especially busy on the mid week, mid morning visit, this was all a bit disappointing for my first visit. Previous reviews seem to offer a different experience to that which I had so maybe there's been a change of ownership/management? Regardless, there are better options for my $$ - I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

This bakery has caught traction mainly due to their delicious banh mi's and cream filled donuts !…read more They only sell one type of banh mi but it's pretty damn good. Everything is in perfect ratio - it's a normal cold cut banh mi which carries balance in the mayo and pate, the meat and the coriander, cucumber and pickled carrot and radish. One bite of this banh mi & you'll become impressed especially with their tiger bread they use - it's so good. Now their donuts are ones to try ! They're not only appealing and cute they also have different flavors with a special flavor they change on a regular basis. It's light and fluffy and not too sweet which makes you eat more. Just keep in mind, they do not have the normal texture as a cake would. It's more like a sweet bread if anything maybe closer to choice pastry? Surprisingly enough....I found them more tastier and flavorful the next day in the fridge rather than buying them outright? I feel because the donuts had more time to have the cream inside it that it really infused in lol. I didn't like them as much until I had them the next morning. All of them were tasty but the coffee, black sesame and mango flavor were my favorites! I'm sad that I missed out on their matcha flavor! Another beautiful thing about this place is that they are also a little cafe that does viet coffee. This is hands down the best viet coffee I've had to date. It's strong and has just the right sweetness. It's thick and not watered down. It's the only place I've found here in Brisbane that does it right. The only issue I have is they put too much ice and not enough coffee, so next time I'll ask for no

Nothing fancy about this place. Their menu is pretty excessive - so you have options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you like. My husband and I opted for the "Cajun Wedges with sour cream and guacamole" to share as our afternoon snack (we had a small breakfast and no lunch). The servings were heapful, and I'm impressed that we even had some of the sour cream and guacamole left over! Guacamole is very lemony, which I like. Staff were friendly and when I had enquired if they could make a "Dirty Chai" for me, the cashier checked with me by explaining what it is (shot of espresso coffee into a chai latte). Great! They have the menus on random tables so just grab one if you want to sit down and read it first before you order at the counter. I say that…read morewith an air of surprise due to my current disappointing experiences with other cafes in the general area. The cafe is located at the back of the IGA complex with a generous outdoor patio area away from the main road. There is a concerted effort by the cafe to green up their area with plants (recently rejuvenated with spring on the way) and it really helps to break up the usual car park feel so many cafes can have in shopping centres. For families with young kids there is a great little section set up with plenty of toys to keep your little ones occupied. Having been here a few times I feel like I can confidently say that the food that we've had has been really good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a great place for breakfast or lunch. There is a slightly Spanish bent to many things but also plenty for those just wanting a snack or something straight forward. I do find the coffee a little inconsistent depending on who is making it, not that it has bad flavor but more that the milk is over heated, perhaps that is just my personal preference though. The service is friendly and prompt regardless of weekday or weekend visits which is important. I just wish they were open on Sunday's and public holidays as we'd probably frequent them more than we do now. All in all this addition to the local cafe scene is a vey welcome one for us in Everton Hills and somewhere I would recommend if you're in the area.
