This place is a treat to your eyes. It's in between a nursery and a greenhouse farming. It has a beautiful views and a fresh air. There's a light band playing inside. Anyone can go sit there and relax for many hours with amazing creative coffee drinks that they make along with multiple other options tolike there was a live band playing when we were there. The people are very kind that the services been outstanding. I ordered hot cold brew. It was good creative way of making it, and there was also an amazing spices sauces that they were selling, which can definitely be something that you can buy from there plenty of parking inside and if you come on Sunday, this place will be jampacked because people will be buying plans from the nursery as well. Ok first off this place is so cute! It was pretty busy so it was a bit loud inside. Seating was limited and we also weren't able to get a table by an outlet. However, we were still able to get a few hours of work in here. I love how much natural light comes in! We tried the horchata cold brew which was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The real star of the show was the TIRAMISU COLD BREW!!! Whatever you do, you NEED to try this. I believe it has a mascarpone cold foam and the ladyfinger is a beautiful touch. I really love this place. I've been living here for a year, and this coffee shop has definitely been a favorite of mine. I love coming to study, meet with friends, and even embrace the greenery of their greenhouse (occasionally bringing home a new plant :D lol). Parking can be a little bit of a stretch sometimes during their busy hours. They do have a small parking lot. Today I really tried not to be a difficult customer (I was once a barista too). They had a seasonal drink, tiramisu cold brew. I had requested if it could be made into a latte instead & the staff was so kind to do so! I really appreciate their kindness and efforts. I absolutely love this place. Every time I have visited Rochester, I have, without fail, made a stop here either to work or grab a beverage. The setting with the adjoining plant store is absolutely perfect. It can get busy and a bit loud but I barely notice when I have my headphones on. The drinks have mostly been good! I have had a couple that weren't so great, like the Chai latte, which seemed more like a sweetened milk. Otherwise, the other teas and coffees do the job. The baristas are very friendly as well! Literally the best latte I've had to date. That's a rather bold claim coming from a prior barista who is very particular about coffee! I love Cafe Aqui! Local coffee place in Rochester, with fantastic coffee and delicious cafe food. Their pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) is fantastic!!! Their scones are also delicious, always perfectly flaky and not too sweet. Staff is awesome! Always attentive, they seem genuinely thankful for one's business. Café Aqui is located inside a flower shop (Sargents, which is also spectacular), and you can sit in the green house, which makes you feel like you are drinking your coffee in a tropical forest. As soon as you walk into Cafe Aqui, you feel the energy--it's a cozy, vibrant space tucked inside Sargent's and surrounded by lush greenery. The vibe is warm, alive, and beautifully decorated with plants everywhere, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. It's clearly a popular spot--the line kept growing while we were there. Their menu is solid, offering a good variety of coffee drinks and light bites. We tried the special Daydream Flat White and the Horchata Cold Brew. It was my first time trying horchata, and it definitely stood out--refreshing and very different from your usual cold brew. The Daydream Flat White had a nice flavor, but the lemon notes were a bit strong for my taste. Still enjoyable, just could have been a bit more balanced. Food-wise, we went with the Rosemary Lemon Scone and the Savory Bites. Both were fresh and flavorful--definitely recommend. Overall, a great experience in a unique setting. Super cute place -- I'm glad my colleague recommended this! I went for one of their summer specials: the lavender honey sparkling lemonade. It was good, but very, very sweet. I couldn't finish it all because it was too sweet (but I'm not a big sweet tooth). It is also a bit pricy for some items, but the ambiance is awesome, and there's plenty of space to sit inside or outside in the greenhouse area to get some work done. Stopped by to give their empanadas a try. I was a bit shocked at the size, they were so tiny-- bite sized empanadas. I had the goat cheese & tomato one and I highly recommend it. So good. The chai latte was good too. I find the coffee shop to be cute, love that there are lots of plants and light. Its definitely on the pricey side, but I rather give them my $ than to a chain coffee shop. I would come by again if I'm ever in town, probably just for coffee. I had to laugh when my son said that this was the place he wanted to go for his birthday lunch. I had offered anywhere in Rochester. But he comes here for coffee and food several days per week. He raves about the coffee. It is primarily a coffee shop. Service was great, friendly and funny too. Sort of like stopping by a friends house for snacks. The hot chocolate (with extra chocolate) was excellent. We had the empanadas and they were excellent too. Buy the sauce. I wasn't expecting much but they really were excellent. 5 stars because it is such a welcoming place and despite a limited menu, they make excellent food. I wish there were more spots like this. I want to love this place, because the ambience and atmosphere are lovely (plants from Sargent's!) and everything is thoughtful and intentional, but I gave 2 stars instead of 4 because I cannot reconcile the egregiously high prices -- $6.50 for a 12oz latte with no flavor -- with the quality, which is mediocre at best. The prices are just unacceptable and frankly insulting. The base price is set unjustifiably high, everything above and beyond is an up-charge, and 12oz is considered a "large". Prices aren't even this high in NYC, DC, LA, or Seattle. I find it really concerning that establishments in Rochester think it's ok to set a price point this high simply because of the Mayo Clinic and the captive population that resides or visits here, but as long as people are willing to pay the premium, businesses won't price reasonably and I see this as a fundamental problem. read more

Lovely place to chill and enjoy a very tasty Chai Latte, friendly staff - inviting atmosphere, sadly I have yet to try the empanadas (always get there too late) But did enjoy other delicacies. Parking is a breeze and location is great. Love that one is surrounded by plants and garden ornaments, makes sitting there on a winters day much more pleasant. We went here for a working day in a coffee shop and it's the nicest place to sit and work for a few hours. There is a nice, large parking lot out front and the cafe itself is located within a plant nursery. In order to get to the cafe, you get to walk through a local plant shop. The cafe itself is really pretty with large windows with lots of sunlight streaming through. They had a variety of pumpkin and fall flavors but I went with the trusty chai latte which was really nice. My partner went with the dirty chai (chai latte with a shot of espresso). Both were good! There were a lot of outlets and all the seats by the wall. Overall, a nice change of scenery and a productive day! read more

This place is a wonderful little coffee shop located inside of Sargeant's. Plenty of seating inside and outside and they have a nice menu of coffee drinks (including nitro cold brew) and ice cream that they get from a creamery in Wisconsin. We got the adffogato as well as the cold brew. The coffee was really nice and the quality was better for the same price point than some of the other coffee shops in town. The iced latte was perfection and I enjoyed the salted chocolate chip cookie. I would say the service is incredibly nice but they are not efficient in moving the line forward on a busy Saturday. I come to Rochester every few months for cancer treatment for my dad. While I am here I am always in need of a place to get work done. I can't believe it has taken me this long to find Cafe Aqui and its space inside (and outside!) of Sargeants. They have a great menu of espresso and tea drinks along with pastries and empanadas. The seat is extremely versatile and includes inside, outside, and greenhouse (!!). Quality and speed has been exceptional. The coffee shop is fluidly inside a good vibes plant, gift and lawn shop so you won't see the coffee shop sign from the street but yes it's in that biggish building with a glass solarium on one side.
