I loooove love love this place! They have the most interesting seasonal flavors! I got the jade Pearl Jam in august. It was so weirdly good! This time I got the safe against the machine! I feel the same weirdly satisfying! I had to come back one more time before leaving to get my fix! Highly recommend this place! Also, the people and the vibe is so cool! It's always bumping with customers!

Been wanting to visit here for the longest time, I know there's a few in the cities and got excited when they decide to open one in roch! The parking isn't the best considering it's a hotel lobby but we just parked in the Mayo lot (it was the weekend so we didn't care). The decor was cute and the they had decent amount of seating. The seats were all taken, we were helped in a timely manner. They have non dairy options which is great! The only downside is that we paid $15 for our drinks. Which I think is crazy considering my sisters cup is small. But my matcha was amazing!

A fun coffeehouse well situated near downtown Rochester, MN... still open despite the crazy construction noose that has tightened over the entire city.

Two specialty drinks - cookie butter cappuccino and orange/vanilla latte - both delicious!

Stopped here while in town for coffee and pastry (and card game). It was a nice space, quiet since we got there first thing on a Sunday. Love that they were one of the few places open that early. The people were friendly and the drinks and pastry were delightful. Love a find like this on a quick weekend trip!

Soooo happy there's a Spyhouse in Rochester! It's sometimes hard to find parking - usually parallel park on one of the streets behind the hotel. The ambience is great! There's plenty of seating as it's attached to a hotel. One can come here with a group or alone to work. The hotel bathrooms are clean and right around the corner from the coffee shop. I haven't tried any of the pastries but the coffee is so good! I especially like Spygirl and the Matcha latte. The baristas are friendly, patient and helpful!

We're staying in the hotel next to Spyhouse and found Spyhouse very convenient. Their coffees are authentic, not the fluffy, highly sweetened, Starbucks-type menu. Spyhouse offers a selection of high quality pastries in the AM, perfect with a cappuccino! They gav a small but tasteful lunch menu, and comfortable and ample seating for a coffee meetup or some work time.

My Cappuccino--How It Should Be Another half marathon running trip brought us to Rochester, MN--a small city with a great atmosphere, lively downtown, and plenty of fantastic hotels and restaurants. Four of us stayed in a downtown hotel, ready to take on a half marathon on May 17th. The race itself was incredible. The crowd, the course, the energy--it all came together perfectly. We all finished with impressive times, and one of us even hit a personal record. Yohoo! After the race, it was time for the next mission: finding the best cappuccino in town. We asked a few folks at the hotel for recommendations, and while some had great suggestions, we hit a snag--it was Sunday, and most of the coffee shops were closed. But luck was still on our side; one of our friends, after checking reviews, suggested we try Spyhouse Coffee, and off we went. Walking into the shop was an experience in itself--warm and welcoming. The space was vast, with an adjacent quiet seating area where many were working with a cup of coffee by their side. Interestingly, that space seemed even busier than the main area. As I took it all in, I found myself instinctively trying to assess the quality of the coffee, convinced--on intuition alone--that it had to be good. With no one ahead of us in line, we were ready to order. The barista, friendly and confident, took our orders. As usual, I went with my standard cappuccino with oat milk. She smiled, seemingly pleased with my choice. My friends ordered their own preferences, while one asked for a recommendation. To my delight, she responded without hesitation: "Our best coffee is the cappuccino." Aha! That was all I needed to hear. A few minutes later, our coffees were ready. I could barely contain my excitement as I took my first sip, and--oh my God!--it was unlike any cappuccino I'd ever had. The quality was exceptional, with perfectly roasted and ground espresso, expertly poured and blended with the oat milk. Each sip carried an exquisite texture and smoothness. I was so impressed that I immediately stood up, made my way to the barista, and personally thanked her for her craft. Natalie was her name--an absolute master of her art. If you're looking for a phenomenal and truly unique coffee experience, Spyhouse Coffee is the place to check out.

I love the ambiance of this coffee place. It would be a great place to study or do some work for a couple of hours. The baristas were quick to take our order. I ordered the jasmine tea lemonade and it was around higher end of $5. It was fragrant and just the right amount of sweetness. The only downside about this place is that the coffee and other drinks are more expensive than other places around town.

Absolutely love this spot, the coffee is delicious. I had the Spygirl latte and it was great. The coffee is not over roasted so it is well balanced and not too acidic. We tried an assortment of pastries including the classic chocolate chip cookie, pain au chocolat, and the Kouign amman. They were all great, airy, fluffy and extremely flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back. They also have a variety of drinks an a good deal for happy hour. The service was excellent, friendly, helpful and gave us lots of options to work with. They made our coffee promptly. Lots of seating options, with wifi, and lots of outlets for computers. Both plugs and usb plugs. Great place to work/study. Relaxed environment, good music and lots of light! Will come back!

Checked it out during our visit to Rochester. Beautiful location and a very nice and open seating area. The decor goes along with the medical city. Staff was great, bakery items were excellent. The lattes were a mixed bag, the Spygirl was delicious but the liquid Gold latte wasn't my thing, wanted to try it and once was enough for me, lot of turmeric and gritty ginger I guess, don't like my latte gritty. Overall, a great place for a bite and to hang out. Has a bar in there too, didn't try that.

Egregiously overpriced w/ moderate quality espresso/drinks, at best. This is a chain from the twin cities.

The space is really bright, clean, and open with an easily navigated layout. The staff was friendly and they were having fun while joking and listening to the radio. They've got coffee and some basic lattes but mainly selling baked goods. I tried a few things and all were fantastic. The vanilla concha was insanely soft and had a nice subtle flavor without the baking soda bitterness you sometimes get. The coconut bun was my personal favorite. Same dough but with a sugar paste and coconut flake topping. One of my litmus tests is pan de feria and theirs didn't disappoint. Crazy soft with a nice, subtle sweetness. It's a hike from my house but you know I'll be back if I'm in the area. Definitely recommend if you're looking for sandwich rolls or any sweet pastries.

They have plenty of space but this one is mostly takeout. They have apathetic Mexican deserts like trans Asian and different type of Jesus. They have Mexican bread. Nothing is price here. Everything is very affordable. You see plenty of people walking by buying bags and bags of bread Condiments. My honest feedback to staff the staff : 1. If you guys can put the name tag on what the item is with the price that will help people to decide what to get. 2. If your staff try to speak in English, it would help a lot or at least having somebody who can understand and communicate better. 3. The coffee bar needs somebody who can be fast. We waited for a 7 to 8 minutes without any other Customer in the line just good morning sweet home have our cappuccino. But overall, this is a great place very affordable and amazing taste . Don't worry about the parking there's plenty of parking in this plaza..

One thing to note is that the address for Drift Dough isn't the address for Old Abe's Coffee, and I am not sure if that's an address for the bakery or something, but all signs pointed towards the donut shop being inside Old Abe's, so that's where we went. I got the ube donut (the purple one), and as someone originally from Hawaii, it was really great to see ube flavor is making it out to the Midwest now! The flavor is not super strong in the donut, so if you haven't had ube before, I think this would be a nice, mild introduction. My husband got the raised Tiramisu donut, and while he liked it, it's definitely bigger than the cake donuts and was a bit too much donut and frosting for him, but your mileage may vary (I like to think my stomach has a special compartment just for donuts, because it always seems that way, LOL). We got a nice cold brew with oat milk to wash the donuts down, and we will definitely be back next time we're in town!
