Chocolate cake
Jaci K.

I was drawn into this place by the interesting name. It sounded so futuristic and I was dying to see what the hype was about. I was surprised when I walked in to see a full blown sports bar. They have a giant screen on which soccer was playing at the time. Many people were there enjoying a beer and just relaxing with friends. It was definitely not what I expected, but was a very cool environment. The other half of the building was bakery/cafe style. They had delicious looking treats that had my mouth watering! The case was packed with unique desserts that had me dying to taste them. I finally settled on some sort of chocolate cake that was dusted with gold and looked like a slice straight out of heaven...but turns out looks can be deceiving. The cake was very stale tasting and dry. I wouldn't even use the word dry, because really it was beyond dry. I felt like the cake had been sitting there for well over a week and I immediately regretted my purchase. While I really wanted to love this place, I was severely disappointed and will not be returning. I appreciated the experience though and was happy to see such a unique combination of sports bar and bakery. If you're into sports and snacks, worth giving it a shot!

I've been passing by this bakery for over 10 years and never stopped by till now. When I found out it was Brazilian, that excited me more because I LOVE Brazilian pastries. But what takes this place to the next level is the extended room that they have where everyone gathers to watch Fútbol games. Who would've thought about watching soccer in a bakery?! Well...clearly it's a thing, because it draws a huge crowd of Brazilians. So much that people make table reservations! It's such a lively atmosphere here for games, as you watch it on a large screen, and can order savory food (along with the pastries) and beer to add to your experience. Even if you don't watch soccer (like me), being there for when a Brazilian team scores a goal and seeing how everyone reacts is next level! Oh, and the sweets are good! I only ordered a coconut flavored Brigadeiro (in picture), because they are so rich you can only handle one, and it was really nice. I also ordered my favorite Brazilian fried street food, coxhiña, which is a fried ball with chicken and cream cheese inside. It was okay, but I've had better. The rest of the menu looked good, as there were natural fruit juices and acai. I will definitely be back to try more!

Bought 4 pastel, drove 40 min home, only 3 were in the bag.

Lots of options but didn't have a meat esfirra today only chicken. So we opted out to get pastel de carne. My husband had to wait 30 min for them to make it. We ordered 4. And drove about 45 min to our home. Just to find out when we got home we only had 3 in the bag. We called 10 times no one answers the phone. When we ate the pastel there was barely any meat at all, and the meat tasted like it was made 3 days ago. I would like my refund. Very disappointed. I just read some of the reviews and it seems they do this very often. So my best advice for those with same issues is file a charge back! Apparently they do this all the time because they know most people live far away and either they dont give a complete order of everything b you ask or food is stale and old from being out too long or made too far in advance. MAKES SENSE WHY THEY DONT ANSWER THEIR PHONE!

Brazilian bakery serving pastries, breads, desserts, juices, smoothies, empanadas, croquettes, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pão de queijo (Cheese bread) and much more. I tried the pastries and breads which were good, however the lady behind the counter was not friendly, I understand that it's a Brazilian bakery so I don't mind that she had a hard time understanding me, but she hardly made any effort, and looked annoyed and bothered to help me, even when I smiled and said thank you, she just walked away with out a word. Many non-Brazilians also enjoy their delicacies, they should really make an effort to be friendlier and cater to non-Portuguese speaking customers. Food 3.5 stars Service 2 stars

My local bakery, my favorite French bread. Family oriented when they are not playing games. They have TVs all over and a huge screen for the Brazilian championship. The coxinha there is always fresh, like all other brazilian salgadinhos, They have all kinds of bread, and they carter. Also. If you need something special, like rabanada bread, just call the day before and they will make. Last week I tried theirs açaí, they need to improve it.

Bacon tasted burnt, one egg cooked very well done. No taste. Idk how you screw this up. Croissant was ok.

* Setting was (bakery like and very ethnic based) * Prices reasonable? Ehh * Nice service? YES * Yummm? Not really * Place was quiet? NO * Would I go back? Probably not unless last resort * Restrooms clean? Idk * Tips? Order ahead of time if you can get your hands on a menu. Busy place but only people in there are Brazilians. I hear thats a good sign, but the one simple iten i received was burnt and not so delicious.

I had the butternut squash and ground beef soup and my husband had the potato, carrot and ground beef soup. Both were out of this world but I liked mine the best!!! We also ordered their cheese balls with guava inside of them. They are seriously addicting!! We're getting 20 of them. 6 to eat here and the rest to take home if they last that long. They have the plain cheese balls which were my favorite initially and I wasn't keen on trying the guava ones because I don't like fruit and cheese together but I've changed my tune!! These are mind-boggling good. For later, I had to get a dessert as always and this time it's the cake in a cup!! Perfect late night treat and so big!! Oh and you must try their scrambled eggs too!! Sounds crazy but they're the best I've ever had and I have a culinary degree!! I don't know how they do it but they're so fluffy and creamy. I crave them now! Jesse and Victoria, the owners are the nicest and sweetest couple ever!! We consider them our friends now! They will bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect for you. We will be loyal customers for life

In this case I decided to order a x-tudo hamburger at a Brazilian café. Which is not too odd as Brazilians are known for a specific type of hamburger preparation. But I didn't expect to wait Almost 20 minutes for a simple burger and fries. But I got unfortunately was a defrosted Restaurant Depot patty and some fries. To the restaurant owners I would advise spending a bit more on the hamburger patties to actually hold up for the type of hamburger they are serving.
