Chicken Wrap
Terrance G.

I ordered the chicken wrap with sweet potato fries to go it took a little under 15 minutes. The server was so nice and let me know what sides to order. The first bite was on point and every other bite after. I will definitely be trying the other items on the menu soon.

Garlic& Herb Lamb Chops, broccoli and sweet potato praline casserole

In town visiting a friend & she brought me here. It's a smaller, establishment with an inviting atmosphere. Loved the food, "the truffle fries be truffling!" I had the garlic & herb lamb chops, with broccoli and sweet potato praline casserole. The lamb chops were good & tender. The broccoli was good & well seasoned. The sweet potato casserole was good & well balanced (not too sweet). I would recommend any to go here for good music, service & food!

Meat meat pizza, could have been cooked a few minutes more

It is a hard place to grade. It is in the middle of a cool community center in a subdivision that is way outside were you would thought a nice subdivision would be. I can tell if I lived in the area I would probably come here a bunch. But driving from Pearland proper, the pictures and reviews were a bit inflating. The jambalaya rolls were ok, the diping sauce was good. The fish tacos were good. the pizza was greasy. I can say that Cafe Sol was on the edge of being very good, but everything I had let me down a little. I probably came in with high expectation base on the reviews and pictures. I can say everything looked very good, however it was mostly just ok, and the biggest issue was that the price was a bit above average. If you are in the neighborhood check it out, if you are not, no need to make a drive.

10/10. All their food is good. I especially enjoy their special menu items for each month. I wish some of these were on the menu permanently. Great customer service. Nice chill vibe with a bar. They are always reinventing and finding new creative drinks, foods, and events.

Food is delicious, truffle fries are the best! however the theme night extra charge for all dine in was a surprise. It's an 18% fee Tuesday through Friday.

Café Sol is a nice spot to have an intimate bite to eat with friends or family and the sandwhich, sweet potato fries, and strawberry lemonade was perfect. The service was amazing and the young man at the register told me the most popular and his recommendations which didn't disappoint! The only small thing I would change would be the wait time, I waited for a little over 25 minutes until I received my order- well worth the wait though!

This neighborhood cafe has potential. It's small with great outdoor space. It would nice if they have outside mister. Covid may be one of the reasons it hasn't gotten great reviews. We're giving 3 stars to start for two expensive, delicious salads.

kids chicken tenders

Me and my mom were not expecting much when we came to eat but let me tell you something!!! The chef must've put his foot in the burgers we got because they were SOOOOO good. Even the kids meal chicken tenders were seasoned and looked the bombbb. The music was great. The service was great. My mom ordered a drink and even tipped the bartender the drink was so good. I love the variety they have, and will definitely come back next week and try something out of my safety zone. Loveeeeeeeee this new cafe sol. Sorry i only took pictures of the leftovers but, trust me it was so good.

Wow. I'm so happy to live here and have this amazing restaurant seconds away..... but let's be honest.... even if it wasn't I would still drive here. We ordered wings , a burger and the brisket potato skins. The brisket potato skins were sooooo yummy. The ranch that came with it was especially good. The burger was great as well and the fries were DELICIOUS. Lastly the wings were great EXCEPT, I would not reorder the lemon pepper wings. The bbq ones were 10/10. Really can't wait to come back for drinks.

Our greeting when we came in was not the most friendly, woman behind the bar didn't even smile and mumbled something that I assume was our greeting. Our server, though nice, seemed very new and inexperienced. But she seemed to be nervously trying to do a good jobl My drink order never was what I ordered. I think there was confusion with the server and woman behind the bar. Our server didn't seem old enough to serve it to me, it was broght over by bar tender. It was pricey for not ever really getting what I requested. The day we were there, they had one of the garage doors open and the front door as well. It was so cold in there, we almost left to go elsewhere as I suspected the food would be cold before it got to the table to be eaten. After our 2nd request, they finally closed the one garage door,, but was still a bit chilly. Then they told us they just put the heater on. (the heater helped but have entry door open to bring food in from food trailer) We didn't realize the food was made in an outside trailer and walked inside. I got the crawfish tail ? Ettofee baked potato ? Ettofee sp?. Although The potato was well baked, and the sauce was Very good, there was only 4 or 5 very small crawfish tails on it. I ended up taking it home with me as it just wouldn't stay warm enough for me to eat more of it. I wish they would of had some type of thermal box, or cover to bring the food in from the outside trailer to the table... My husband had a mushroom swiss burger which was good, and some really delicious flat shaped fries, but again, keeping our food warm enough to eat it was not the best situation. There were some really good looking things on the menu, but it was just too cold in there that day. During nice weather, I'm sure our experience would have been much better, as it seems like a really nice place with a very nice patio with great view.

On this particular evening we stuck to the seafood and we were not disappointed. We came out on a Tuesday, and Pizza Hut, next door, was running a 5.99 deal and the place was bonkers. On a normal day, parking is not much of a problem and there's plenty of space, but on this day it was a little hectic. Don't expect that to be the usual. Walking in the restaurant was quiet, there were three tables being served at the time. We were immediately set and we had a lot of different menu options to go through. We had their normal menu, their feast and their weekly and daily specials. So many things looked good, so we took our time going over the menu. We ordered half a dozen raw oysters, and these were massive. They serve them with lemons and Sriracha. Excellent combination. 10 out of 10 would order again. The gal went with flounder fillets and crawfish etouffee over rice. The flounder was fried perfectly. The etouffee was fantastic. I had the redfish with crawfish etouffee and I loved my redfish and the etouffee was fantastic on my dish as well. 10 out of 10 would order the redfish again, same with the flounder. Overall this is a fantastic meal. We had a bill of $46 for two big plates and half a dozen oysters. Not a bad deal. They do have some pretty good deals on it. Some of their other specials and their larger boils and feast. And while we were there they also had 1199 lb crawfish rate. We'll have to come back for the Crawfish and see how they do. They also have events throughout the week and month at the restaurant. That might be worth checking out if you're in the area. Was very pleased with our meal and visit. Will definitely be back.

The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were greeted by three different people - one that took our drink order, one that cleared our plates, and one that took our order. All were very nice people and gave excellent service! Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

The pork chop had a beautiful char and was full of flavor--slightly undercooked, yes, but still delicious enough to carry the whole meal. I do wish they had mashed potatoes on the menu, though... it would have made it perfect. We also shared the Brussels sprouts, and sadly, they missed the mark this time. Dry and bitter, nothing like the saucy, flavorful version I've had before--maybe just the late hour catching up with the kitchen. But even so, that pork chop... it lingered in the best way.
