Fidegua-$33
Austin N.

The food here is a 10 The service is a 10 The ambience is a 10 And I feel the value for what you get is also a 10 I have never been disappointed here and I have been here at least 3 times. Pro tip: if you find that you're here but you haven't ordered paella (since you need to order ahead of time because it takes awhile to make) just order the Fidegua. It's almost the exact same thing but with pasta instead of rice. And my father in law said the pork chop was the best one he ever had in his life.

My friend and I had a pleasure of dining there for the second time. It exceeded my expectations. The restaurant busy on a Saturday night, but we were still attended to well by our server Briza, a young college student working on her way through college. Diego served our bottle of Spanish wine and was a very knowledgeable sommelier. For the appetizers, we had the pulpo and queso and jamón Serrano. Both very good especially the pulpo. For an entrée, I had a very large serving of freshly caught Atlantic salmon with vegetables. Delicious. My friend had the lobster bisque. The restaurant has beautiful decor and many paintings that gives you a feeling of warmth and welcome. Definitely a Spanish flavor. Thank you for our wonderful meal.

Came back again, got their gombas Al ajillo (good), their cheese plate (decent), and the Brussel sprouts (good). Their chicken marsala was very good and my date loved their duck special. Prior to tip, check came out to $140 . I was told that you can call and mention you want the pallela if you're not going to be there less than an hour before closing and they cane reserve one for you.

Yum! Such friendly service! Food while a little pricey was delicious. I got the chicken Marsala and it was amazing. I really liked the ambience, it's a smaller dining room which I liked. I would definitely recommend for a nice date night!

Chicken Soup - phenomenal!

Food was great, but the service was too slow for comfort. I went here during lunch; I even made a reservation. When I arrived, there were lots of empty tables but it took about 10 minutes to seat me. Took a while to finally get my order taken, then another while for my food to come out. I got the Mediterranean Salad with salmon and subbed out the dressing for the orange chocolate vinaigrette. The salad was filled with fresh fruit, which was amazing. The salmon was kind of bland. Also, I ordered the cup of their famous chicken soup - it was SOOO YUMMY! Very flavorful and definitely not like any other chicken noodle soup I've tasted. I highly recommend it. The bacci bread roll it came with was cold and dry. The ambiance was nice. It definitely had a European feel, but floors were kinda dirty. If I ever do return, I need to ensure that I have plenty of time in case the service is slow again.

Every dish we had was very nice! Their patatas bravas are always a crowd favorite, I would definitely recommend ordering some for the table!

Every time we go we try something new and we are never disappointed. Great staff amazing food! Great variety! What's not to love about an upscale restaurant in the nicest part of town

Patatas Bravas

Yummy! This place is classy! You can totally dress up and come bougie and extra. The food is so yummy! I think the serving size was just right as I ate the whole thing but didn't feel sickly full or leftover hungry. The eggs were super runny which they didn't ask about my preference. So if you hate runny eggs be sure to say something as they may not ask. Our waiter was so nice, however my drink wasn't always full which is always one of my biggest bothers at restaurants. I like this place cause it feels super classy but doesn't break the bank. It's not cheap like dennys tho but it is still under $20 a plate if you want it to be. More expensive options are also available. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking. There was no host at the front of the restaurant. I had to wait 5-10 min before a server saw me and took the time to help seat me. That was kinda weird but it's such a small intimate restaurant it might just run that way I guess. I didn't mind but I can see why other people might get bothered.

$60 for what they consider 2 servings but for us it fed like 6 people.

I got a side salad and salmon with yuzu gravy. When I say the yuzu was good...I mean it was GOOD. The citrus, sweetness, buttery blended so well and perfectly paired with the salmon. Chef's kiss. The service was so good that it was too good. They were ready to remove the plate as soon as the last bite went into your mouth. Came in for dinner with a party of four and had a great experience overall. We ordered the crispy fried calamari, pork gyozas, and five rolls: the Tsunami, the Spicy Masa, the Vegas, the Jenny, and the Cobacabana. My favorite by a good margin was the Spicy Masa. The habanero sauce is spicy-delicious, with real heat but enough flavor that you keep going back for another bite. The Vegas and Tsunami rolls are crowd-pleasers, and the pork gyozas are a solid starter to share. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, no complaints there. The atmosphere is where I'd push them to level up. The decor is simple and modern, which is fine, but it doesn't create much of a mood, and the dining room gets loud fast. If you're hoping for a quiet, intimate dinner, this probably isn't the spot. For a casual night out with friends or family, though, the energy works. One tip: get a reservation, especially on weekends. Walk-ins can be rough. We skipped drinks and dessert and still landed at around $165, so it's not a cheap night out, but the quality justified the price.

Our server was amazing, with it being our first time she gave us a rundown of the menu and highlighted some favorites. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dim and chill. We ordered miso soups, the jalapeño hamachi, the beef tataki, the moonlight roll, and the apollo roll. I also ordered their sparkling sake which was a special and I loved it. The miso soups were delicious and priced well. The jalapeño hamachi is an award winning dish and I can see why. It was SO good. My husband actually saved the vinaigrette to try with other dishes. We also enjoyed the beef tataki, I did feel like it was a little on the chewy side but overall good. We loved the moonlight roll, the flavors and sweetness were good, I did feel like it was missing heat from the spicy tuna. The apollo roll was good, this roll also had spicy tuna and it was definitely hotter. Mint met our expectations and will definitely be a contender for our next sushi date night.

Found this place and ordered miso soup, salad, sashimi, and two rolls. Everything tasted fine, the service was fine, and I left. Not even halfway to the hotel, which was 20 minutes away, my head started pounding and my stomach was turning. I thought I was catching a cold, maybe being under dressed for the weather (even though had layered up). I barely made it to the parking lot and basically vomited my dinner. I then spent the next hour in the bathroom, after which I felt relieved, so in a way I was glad that I wasn't getting sick. I figured it had to be the food and after I felt better I decided to call Mint to at least let them know that maybe something was in the food so at least they might prevent this for someone else. The manager apologized for my experience and that was it. I think it was either something in the food or had remembered earlier at the dinner all the employees were in the kitchen and I guess one of the sushi chef's just adopted a dog. Everyone was saying how cute it was and petting it, which I thought nothing of at the time other than it being cute. Then because of my experience, I don't really recall that chef, who was the one serving me, ever really leaving my sight or washing his hands. Just speculation of course but hey I got food poisoning from something. And anyone that knows me, knows that I always wash my hands before a meal, especially if I've been in the field working that day. I thought of posting here, but whatever it was over with and I'm busy. The next day, I got a voicemail letting me know that they felt bad for my experience and would compliment the dinner. I thought that was a nice gesture so I returned the message and left a voicemail of my own. No response, and I tried two more times over the next week. So here we are two weeks after and I'm thinking of sharing the story or not. Maybe they thought I was grifting for a free dinner and changed their mind, so that's why they didn't call me back? Maybe no one else got sick and there was no way to prove my story other than my word. Maybe they thought because I saw the dog, I would use that as an opportunity to eat for free? I never asked for my meal to get comped, I just wanted the establishment to know so they could prevent it from happening to someone else. Again, wasn't planning on sharing this on Yelp, but this happened two weeks ago and I feel that if I didn't share my experience it would be like a tree falling in a forest, does it even make a sound or did it really happen? Yes this actually happened to me so I'm letting management know that I'm not some anonymous guy that was trying to victimize myself for a free meal.
