    Ratatouille veggie burger

While all the food in Paris is delicious, this is by far THE BEST meal we had the entire time. We came in and sat down at a table. Our French is very minimal but the server let us converse and order in their beautiful language. We had the seafood pasta, ratatouille burger, along with an espresso and cappuccino. Absolutely spectacular meal, wonderful interior, great service, and clean bathrooms. I would highly recommend to eat here if you are going to the catacombs!

Wonderful breakfast with a large portion. Pleasant service with my awkward attempt at high school French. TV screen showing Olympics and open to watch the traffic as in most cafes.

    We absolutely LOVED the escargot.

My family and I stopped in Cafe du Rendez-Vous, at my daughter's insistence, and we are glad we did. Our first experience was FANTASTIC! Our server, Bubaca, was professional and extremely attentive. My daughter and I absolutely LOVED the escargot in parsley butter (truth be told, it is by far the BEST escargot I've had while in Paris), and our main dishes were EXCELLENT. My steak was cooked perfectly, and my wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. The drinks were made well and all had the right amount of alcohol. Our second visit was just as good, and the service continued to be as good as it was the first time. The restaurant has a GREAT atmosphere and the prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. If you come to Paris, make sure to visit Cafe du Rendez-Vous!

Delicious food and excellent service what more do you need? We walked in here after visiting the catacombs. We were greeted in French and given a French menu when we walked in so assumed they didn't speak English. Since neither me or my husband speak French we turned to google translate to help us with the menu and helping us order. When our waitress realized she quickly switched to English (which she spoke really well). We had no issues though finding what we liked off the French menu. My husband ordered the duck and I ordered the pork. Both were delicious and the portions were huge. We also shared a creme brûlée for dessert which was amazing. We were never rushed here at any point. I loved that they had outdoor seating too but since it's a pretty busy area we chose to sit inside. If you're in the area go, you won't be disappointed.

We came here solely for drinks, but the service was good and friendly. As typical European fashion, you always have to ask for your check, but that's to be expected. Their aperol spritz was quite good.

A great place for brunch and for enjoying this vibrant area of Montparnasse. I got the brioche French toast, which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and was délicieux. My wife had to satisfy her steak tartare craving, so she got it and of course I had to try some! It was a nice portion and very tasty. This place is in my opinion the very definition of a Parisian brasserie and certainly didn't disappoint!

What an amazing place in Paris! The breads were delicious and come with butter, preserve and Nutella. The butter was insanely good. It wasn't super heavy like the butter you get here in the states. Also had a cappuccino and some orange juice both were good but the bread just blew everything else out of the park :) I went around 730am and the kitchen wasn't open yet so I wasn't able to get a full breakfast guess I'll have to go back next time :D

This place is in the midst of Paris. Very close to the catacombs, therefore it is designed for tourists!. It was the worst salmon I ever tasted. The duck was tough, tasteless, flavorless, and the skin was undercooked and thick!. The waiter was friendly. This restaurant is a disappointment to the French!

    Mouse in establishment

MICE! Came here last night to enjoy a nice dinner. Food was great, but half way through eating, we spotted a mouse. Then, another one. 3 mice were running around the establishment. After calling the waiter and explaining, they looked at us like we were crazy and said "because we are near the catacombs" and to "be thankful they are not rats". Absolutely horrible service. Management did not do anything or even compensate the bill when we asked for something to be taken off and we paid full price. I understand this may be normal for some locals, but in a restaurant establishment where food and hygiene is concerned, it is absolutely not ok.

Across the intersection from the catacombs, this is a perfect place to stop and enjoy breakfast before you head into the Parisian underground. Café du Rendez-Vous is a classy, relaxing and welcoming place to enjoy a morning meal in good Paris form. I recommend getting the Le Parisien: a hot drink, juice and a basket with breads and croissant. It is delicious and with great presentation.

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!

They have a clean bathroom upstairs, you'll just need to climb the staircase. We ordered the strawberry crepe and duck and asparagus galette bretonne. So there's actually a bit of a difference between a crepe and a galette. Crepes are usually sweet and made with wheat flour, while galettes are usually savory and made with buckwheat flour. Between the two, I enjoyed the strawberry crepe more, the strawberry jam made the crepe a delicious sweet treat. The flavors of the galette weren't as satisfying to my tastebuds, but I still enjoyed it. I would be interesting in trying other galette flavors next time. While my expectations weren't fully realized (I didn't LOVE it), I still enjoyed giving Breizh Cafe a try.
