The room is clean and spotless! For a three star hotel it feels like you are in a five star hotel. All of the receptionists I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. I seen other people mention the noise from other rooms and I definitely noticed other people's conversation (loud voices though.) Lobby doors are a little bit narrow but nothing to worry about. For me doing second shifts, it is nice to get into the hotel with no problems. I am very happy to say that if you are looking for an affordable nice quality experience I recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Coldwater. Here are some amenities for those wondering: *my room has a mini fridge and coffee station *air conditioning *dressers and cabinets for organizing * adjustable tv for smart tv sticks like Roku and Amazon *breakfast is wonderful for a hotel breakfast. There's a little bit of something for everyone. Location Accessibility/ Security: Accessible by service drive off of Willowbrook Dr, next to Hampton Inn. Each room has a flap style lock and a door with locks on it so you feel comfortable and safe at night. Each room also has adjustable curtains to close if you want to block out outside light during the day.

The employees here are outstanding. I received a warm and friendly welcome from the front desk employee when I checked in, and helpful recommendations throughout my stay. Cookies were available, and I seldom find cookies at HIEs anymore. Breakfast was better than average and the seating area was spacious. This is a convenient location just off the interstate, but not so close that you can hear road noise.

The hotel looks like it has been updated in the not too distant past. The lobby was clean and inviting. The room was also clean. I can be pretty picky about hotel rooms, but I had no qualms about staying in our room. The hotel was a little noisy. We could hear a lot of footsteps and creaking as the guests in the room above us moved around. It wasn't horrible, but enough to slowly wake us up a little earlier than we would have liked. The breakfast was solid. They had enough for everyone and even my vegan girlfriend was able to find enough to eat. The staff worked hard to make sure there was enough food (it was fairly busy). This is a good place to stop for the night (or longer). It is right off of the highway. There are several restaurants and fast food joints nearby. The pool was nice (sadly - the heater on the hot tub was broken). Recommended.

Absolutely I am game. we left the Detroit area and came to Coldwater Michigan. We always stay at Best Western because it's always so fresh and clean and they always have an above decent if not exceptional breakfast. It's Best Western So the pool says heated it is not!!!! It's cold, the Jacuzzi somebody needs to work on the Jets because they're not working correctly. I let the management know how clean our room was when we first arrived because it was very clean, even though outdated. We slept like crap on the springs that were popping up in the bed. The pillows were awful and all night long..... it sounded like someone was wiggling our door knob, trying to get in our room so needless to say I had maybe three hours of sleep. And to top it off, we both had to turn opposite directions and sleep in both of the queen beds because all you could smell in between the beds was adult urine saturated in the carpet We had decided that we were going to go down to the front desk and cancel Saturday night. Since we had already paid, it was not an option and we were like 10 minutes after 11 AM check out so it was our fault, I take full responsibility and we did not argue. And the breakfast they offered was above and beyond just nasty. They actually had tangerines that were so dry you wanted to just make a pair of shoes with them. I think my biggest irritating factor is the pool is cold and the sauna hot/ hot tub whatever doesn't work... but if you compare this to any other Best Western, check it out before you stay!!!! I I personally feel that Best Western with the prestige they have and having their name on this building is a very big mistake. And it's funny they were advertising online rooms for the night that were $44 cheaper than what we actually paid with all the discounts we got for being Best Western members. I do not recommend this location because you're not going to sleep well the urine is major on top of just I feel dirty.

I enjoy staying and relaxing and being out on the water. Marble lake is a lake that's part of a series of channels and lakes and that's one of my favorite things about this particular area. As mentioned above there's a pretty nice price tag on what we pay and because of that it would be nice to see the money that so many are paying for go towards upgrades in the resort. Better restrooms and showers... more full hook ups in the camper area... heck even new playground equipment... throw us a bone!! For as much as lot rent is as well as paying for our own electric on top of that this resort has to be pocketing a lot of money and I would be thoroughly impressed if we start to saw some, *any* kind of upgrade in the resort. Anyways the resort is usable and not by any means in bad shape. I enjoy spending my weekends here and don't have many complaints. Side note the corner store on the water has amazing hand dipped ice-cream that can't be beat. If you're here, don't miss it.

My experience may differ from yours but I was so disappointed with "quality" that I felt I owed it to you my dear readers to post my experience. The TV had a chip in the screen, the remote was only at 30%, and when I requested new batteries and towels it took over an hour for them to deliver it. Which brings me to my point...lesson learned. If you want a good nights sleep and a fresh shower with super hot water then this place is for you. If you want a hotel with natural light then this place is for you. Our rooms were poolside on a weekend, but we specifically asked to be away from the noise. I didn't mind it as much as my kids did. If you want a hotel room with two exits, then this place is for you. If you want a hotel with an indoor play structure in the middle of it then this hotel is for you. My guests had a 1 star experience - the heater/air conditioner either blew out cold air or hot air without an in between. They have key cards that you swipe for access. I had to go through two sets of them making trips back and forth from the room to the front desk before management told me that he just came from there and that the keys were working...but nobody told me that the doors facing the pool were exit only (until the manager showed me to the correct door).

I've stayed here en route between DC and Chicago several times now, and every time (even at 2am checking in) I've been greeted by a smile, comfort, and a clean hotel. The staff is very courteous, breakfast is minimal, but gets you going in the morning, the beds are comfy and clean, and the bathrooms are clean. One morning, I missed breakfast, and the girl working the desk even offered to bring my entire group breakfast up to our rooms --- then proceeded to show up at my door with a huge assortment of cereal for everyone, hardboiled eggs, milk, orange juice, muffins, etc. The location is great too, right next to the highway (though the GPS takes you from I-69 down a backroad to get there if you don't know the area...if you're familiar with the area though, you can get from the highway to the hotel in about 2 minutes). Theres also a walmart accross the street if you need anything the hotel cant provide. All in all, its no ritz carlton, but if you need a clean and comfortable place to put your head down at night for really cheap (we paid for one night under $100 for 2 rooms), then this is your best bet!
