We've been going to Turtle Lake for more than 10 years on and off (wish it could be more often)…read more We've stayed in the lodge and now have a small motorhome. Both types of quarters have their qualities- just depends on how you like to vacation. There are so many things to do here! Beautiful indoor pool. Really nice tiki bar next to the "conversation pool", a rec building with pool, darts, cards... There are volleyball nets, shuffleboard, mini golf, pickleball courts and more! We've never stayed in one of the"park model" units, but they look lovely. There are dances on Saturday nights and themed weekends during the summer. We love it out here. A couple things to keep in mind: This is a FAMILY resort. There are a few families with kids. Sort of took me by surprise when we first visited, but everyone is very relaxed and take all things in stride. This is NOT a swingers place. No one is looking to "hook up". No one cares about the size of your butt or whether you have weird surgery scars. This is a place where everyone enjoys what you can't do most other places: relax, feel comfortable in your own skin and meet new friends. As a woman, I can honestly tell you I was freaked out about going the first time. We're taught to obsess about cellulite and wrinkles. I've never felt as confidant and comfortable as I do at TLR. It becomes obvious right away that no one judges you... about anything! Once you shed your clothes, no one can tell if your rich or making this the one vacation you can take every couple of years. You don't have to compare yourself with a anyone else on any level. And guys... don't worry about being aroused or embarrassed. After a little adjustment period, when you get used to people being friendly and smiling a lot, you just don't feel like you have to be someone you aren't either. You get to know people for who they are. It sounds corny, but you feel natural here. You appreciate people for what's inside. I'm still a little bummed that they don't have the motorcycle rallies anymore (such a blast!) but everything else keeps getting better here. ;) You should visit! Really! (Bring SUNSCREEN!)

Beautiful setting, with some old farms in the horizon. Water hazards have been well thought out, and definitely nice to view...as long as you stay out of them. Glad that there were not too many houses on the course, and none of them seemed to be 'right on top of you.' We played there on Saturday, and honestly, the place kicked my butt. There are holes that you definitely have to play several times to get the feel for them, but I am not sure I will ever get the feel for those greens. They are so fast that even the slightest undulations make large breaks. I do credit this course with my 2nd best score ever, because 3 days later I played at more of a 'regular course' for non-pros, and fired a true 77. Thank you Glendarin for sharpening up my game! Did I mention the greens are really fast?

She arrived at the proper time and was professionally dressed and very well organized. She did a wonderful job and performed the service exactly as we had planned. We were so pleased with her service, by the time she was done, we had considered her a friend. 7/24/19-after a going through a rough patch, we utilized Rev. Victoria's services again. She arrived promptly, re did our vows with us quickly and everything went perfectly. If you are in the area and looking for an officiant, don't hesitate and book an appointment with her. Christine was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and answered all of my questions, she made the whole process so much easier for us. The pictures do not do her home justice, and I loved that we were able to customize every detail about our ceremony. With the lighting and beautiful stained glass windows we got a lot of beautiful photos as well. It still almost seems unreal. If you are looking for an intimate wedding, and just want to keep it simple and classy, this is absolutely the place to go!
