Find your spirit animal and be inspired
Daniel C.

Cactus Carlos is a cute souvenir store in Old Town Scottsdale. The first thing you'll notice is that this place is very quirky and playful - lots of funny quotes posted on signs, T-shirts, etc. You're bound to find good souvenirs or gifts for your friends here. Some of my favorites were: * This Birthday cards organized by year that are shaped like wine bottles of various colors. Inside you'll find some key events that occurred during that year along with a list of famous people born that year. * These wooden placards representing an animal, and some inspirational words of wisdom passed from that animal to you. My favorites were the coyote and rattlesnake. I also like the fact that the store is a bit small and cramped. The merchandise still manages to overwhelm you just like a larger store would.

What a stunning surprise to enjoy for two nights in the hotel room, and also lovely when brought home. Love the box design and the arrangement of sunflowers, roses, and additional floral items. My boyfriend advised that they were cat friendly as he reached out to have a couple substitutions. Greatly appreciate the level of service and care that went into this bouquet. Additionally, he said they were quite affordable comparative to other shops he looked at. If in the area, we agreed this would be the shop! "Flowers are not supposed to last; their job is to help people stay in the present." -- Unknown Though I always wished they lasted longer, I'm grateful for their fragrance, beauty, and the moment to enjoy them. Thank you, Tatum Flowers!

It has now been five days since it was delivered and it's still looking gorgeous! I'm not sure if the arrangement is "Charmed" or "Flower Garden" or "Shining Star" or a custom arrangement but I'll add a photo here to Yelp. I would definitely consider using Tatum Flowers in the future based on what my mom received!

O.M.G. After years…read moreof being deprived of quality foods and other groceries by our nearby Safeway, AJ's was like dying and going to heaven. So many wonderful choices, everything the Traitor Joe's wishes they had for inventory. We were there for an hour plus, walked away after spending more than $300 just for BBQ sauces, salad dressings, pickles, chocolates, pasta, canned tomato products, jams, jellies, cheeses, wines, liquor, every kind of spices, etc, we are denied by Safeway. If I didn't know better, I'd think that AJ's is owned by Raley's, which we shopped at for 30+ years. A lot of upscale, well-dressed people in the store... very high-end in nature and curb appeal. Wonderful selections in everything: beautiful produce, cooked food for hungry shoppers, a clean place to eat, and a superlative deli. Very nice people. Prices? Well, you have to pay for the good stuff. Yanno?

I never thought to grab lunch at a grocery store, but this one was insane!…read more I will now be stopping in a couple more times for my lunches when I'm at work. I got their chicken lunch special with roasted broccoli and cheesy scalloped potatoes. Literally everything I ate was great but the potatoes had amazing flavor. My co workers got the salmon and pizza which they both said was good! I got a brownie and a smores pastry and out of the two, the s'mores was wayyyy better! To drink, I got a Vanilla iced latte with half n half and it was pretty solid! They didn't have any specials they could make but they had several Monin Brand coffee syrups which tasted just fine. I would get it again, I believe it was $5 for the small size. I didn't do any grocery shopping because the prepared food took all of my attention!
