She's a chocolate lover, so I figured I could find something great here. I found many fantastic options! The only problem here is the prices. Everything is pretty pricey. I've been to independent boutique chocolate shops before, but this one was priced even higher than others, likely due to its strip location. There is also no seating inside, but plenty in the casino. I ended up grabbing one of their cookies. It was double chocolate and reasonably priced. It was loaded with chocolate and was incredibly rich all the way through. The guy working the front counter was super nice and chill. He chatted with me for a while after my purchase. Next time I'd like to grab a sipping chocolate, as it seems like that's a speciality of theirs here. Overall, a great chocolate shop if you're willing to spend more than typical.

I've tried their cappuccino, cortado, and their mocacchino (drinking chocolate with espresso and whipped cream). The cappuccino and cortado were standard ish, and their mocaccino was really rich and tasty. Funny how they tell us it's a really small drink. Love the whipped cream dusted with cocoa powder. Give it a lil stir to balance the espresso and chocolate. Comes with a marshmallow and a lil cookie. You can also get more marshmallows up front as well. Their pastries were alright. More pretty than tasty IMO. Love their chocolate bars and treats. Pricey, but so good. I've also tried their hot chocolate powders since they have flavors such as hojicha hot chocolate and chai hot chocolate. The flavors are a bit subtle, but tasty.

All of the chocolate items are arranged depending on what you're looking for, like chocolate boxes, or bars. There are also a variety of options to select from, making it really difficult to narrow down which ones to purchase! My husband and I did try out a few different samples that the amazing team at Royce Chocolate offered! I selected matcha chocolates. They tasted wonderful. The taste of matcha was mild and had no overwhelming flavor! There was another matcha flavored chocolate box that was more of a cheesecake flavor, it was good, but I ended up going with their standard matcha flavor. Royce' Chocolate is a great way to add variety to your walk through The Shoppes at the Palazzo in Las Vegas and I most definitely will go back and try additional flavors next time. I think I'll try to buy a bag of one of their chocolate covered chips.

I had an amazing experience here from the Yelp Elite event so I went back to stock up some on some amazing Royce Chocolates. Today things were different. I did say that I was uncertain about a few flavors that I read about in the catalog. The one I was most interested in she did say was located in the refrigerator and just pointed instead of telling me about it. I just purchased two boxes of the seasonal chocolate covered macadamia chocolates since I know that they are amazing. Side note to locals - I recently found out that we don't always get our three hours of free parking here. The disappointment was not the flavor of the chocolates. It was the bare minimal of customer service. The young lady who helped us was all smiles but did not really know the flavors she was selling. Which to me was not a big deal because she was nice about it. However the other employee, the blonde young lady with the glasses was either having a bad day or just unpleasant in general. I purchased a box of chocolates for my friend birthday. On another display there were chocolate bars that they had put together and tied with a ribbon. I asked her if she can tie a ribbon around the box I was going to purchase. She looked over to her colleague, the blonde who shook her head, no. So I asked if they can give me the ribbon and I can do it myself and got another no. I didn't think cutting a ribbon would have been such a big deal they had scissors and the ribbon. So basically their strong point is NOT hospitality or good customer service skills at cocoa dolce.
