SOOO good!! We…read moreordered the classic Freddy's Original Double (that thin, crispy-edged patty with all the perfect toppings is seriously addictive) and the Signature Mushroom Swiss Burger (the melty Swiss and sautéed mushrooms combo is next-level). Both burgers were hot, juicy, and smashed to perfection. The shoestring fries were a hit! They are thin and small and crispy and made a great side! Service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was spotless, and everything just tasted fresh. The person who owns the place (I believe) even came up to us and the others eating and asked how we were liking our experience. It was such a sweet gesture that I appreciated and made the experience amazing. Highly recommend!

Yelp! review #60 of 2025 December 11, around 7pm…read more We stopped in for a quick dinner after a long day, hoping for something comforting and familiar. I tried to order the Double Smoked Barbecue Burger first, but they were out. Then I asked for the Prime Rib Burger, also out. Even the cheese curds, which we usually love as an appetizer, were unavailable. In the end, the only burger option left was a basic steak burger, so I went with the Jalapeño Steak Burger and added cheese to my fries, since that was closest to what I originally wanted. It felt like they had run out of almost everything and were down to the bare essentials. It honestly felt like the people working there did not care. I was pretty disappointed and almost walked out to try another Freddy's location, but my kids were hungry and really wanted their milkshakes, so we stayed. The kids' meals somewhat saved the day for the little ones. I ordered three chicken-tender kids' meals, and they were pleased with them. Well, almost. Freddy's also run out of barbecue sauce. One small bright spot was my son getting me a lemonade from the fountain, but when I tried it, it tasted off, nasty, actually. My wife grabbed me a cherry Pepsi instead, which was okay, though it didn't taste quite as good as it usually does at Freddy's. Overall, this visit left me feeling let down. This location is the closest to our house, but after running out of so many menu items (and even the drinks not tasting right), I'm not sure when we'll be back. Hoping it was just an off night.

I promise you will be pleasantly surprised! The preservation of the past! Just love it ! It's a beautiful museum as you eat ice cream . It's probably "real" cream, not infused cream that's made from artificial cream. That don't ask don't tell cream policy . The taste of the ice cream will leave real screams truly as you eat it. The staff could not be happier either . We had no idea what to order but the clerk was friendly enough to give us some time. The menu is colored and decorated for our enjoyment. We had a concrete shake. You can add all sorts of different flavors. We went old school with captain crunch cereal and caramel sauce. Mmmm what a combo! They sell older versions of soda that apparently are still available! Come and sip something that you cannot find anymore in surroundings that will make your mind wander .

The only thing I was a little disappointed with is all the fun flavors only are available on mix-ins with the shakes or larger items. I was hoping to just have a dish with some toppings, but, hubs and I decided to share a mixer. We ended up getting a raspberry cheesecake mixer and it was so good. They use custard here, not ice cream (I know, it's in the name, but some people don't know the difference), and custard is creamier and, in my opinion, more filling. It was so good, but we were stuffed. This location has a small seating area, so, if it's a busy day, you might not get a seat. Otherwise, it is very reminiscent of an old soda shop. Super cute and great place to satisfy a sweet tooth!

They…read morehave taiyaki, which is like a soft, breaded pancake waffle shaped like a fish and filled with your choice of fillings. My kids' absolute favorite is Nutella (of course ), but they have a variety of options if you want to switch it up. Their weekly swirls were matcha/ube, chocolate/Thai tea, and cookies & cream with milk tea...and they don't play about flavor. Everything tastes rich and creamy without being too heavy. I love that you can mix flavors and make it cute and aesthetic too. They also offer flavored pasteurized milk that comes in these really cool glass bottles, not going to lie, the bottles alone make you want to buy one. It just feels different than your typical dessert run. The whole vibe is bright, clean, and fun. It's definitely one of those places you go for a sweet treat and end up taking pictures before you even take a bite. Perfect little dessert stop after dinner or when you just want something fun and different. We'll definitely be back. Also great customer service!

The service is fantastic--friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. One of my favorite things is their Taiyako with two flavors--it's honestly divine! You can even get extra taiyako on the side to enjoy with your ice cream. The flavors are rich, the ice cream is creamy, and every bite is delicious. This is my go-to spot, especially in the summer when it's blazing hot outside. The only challenge is the location--it's in Shanghai Plaza, where parking can be a headache. But trust me, if you can brave the crazy parking situation, this place is absolutely worth it. A true hidden gem!

I finally thought I'd give the new burger spot in Henderson a fair shake…read more Ruby's Shake Shop is a more casual take on the Ruby's Diner chain from SoCal. This location opened just outside of Green Valley Ranch just last year, and I decided to invite my friend over here instead of our usual late evening burger stop. I tried the Classic Burger ($9.99). It was pretty solid, with a decent thick patty, hefty bun, some lettuce and tomato, and a burger sauce. It wasn't that exciting compared to some of the other popular burger chains though, and it was giving lots of California vibes in the sense that there wasn't a lot of fattiness. I did get it with a combo (+$4.99) though. The onion rings were crispy and mostly were bite-through-able, and they went alright with the ranch. I do think a 1:2 or 1:3 ketchup:ranch mixture might be the play, but I didn't investigate thoroughly yet. I also tried my friend's fries, which were okay but not that memorable either. My rating was really not gonna be awesome except for my drink (also included in the aforementioned combo). It was my take on an Arnold Palmer, a roughly 1:1 mix of their unsweetened tea and their lemonade. I later found out that the tea is a passion fruit tea, which is why I was getting fruity/tropical vibes that aren't usually part of this tea. And the sweetness ended up so addictively ideal that I could hardly stop drinking the thing. I will be back to Ruby's when I really crave that Arnold Palmer, and hopefully I'll figure out what to do to find a better entree on their menu. Maybe my friend's chili cheese dog could be a good starting point.

My group was desperately looking for late night boba anyway and they were still open past 9 PM, which was surprisingly rare in the area. The best way to describe this place is "third space" where people would go to be in each other's company. There are game stations and pinball machines galore, along with big tables for board games. With a boba or ice cream purchase, I believe you get one hour of free game play. Then, for additional time, you would need quarters and the counter has change for anyone who needs it. The service was fast and the people helping us were welcoming. We got mostly fruit tea drinks as a group and eveerything was customized to our liking. Some of us asked for less sweet, and they obliged. This is a business that is definitely worth checking out. If you need a space to hang out, if you are craving a boba or ice cream, or maybe if you have both needs - you can't go wrong with TK's Boba and Creamery!
