The Cactus Gardens are amazing the botanical gardens are so well maintained. What an incredible experience loved looking at all the gardens benches everywhere to pause and relax enjoy the beautiful peaceful gardens. We did the chocolate tour afterwards so delicious really fun to watch them make the candy. Godiva has always been my favorite but the chocolates here were better. Everyone who worded there was welcoming friendly. The gift shop was great and the cafe Jill in the gift shop was so kind. Wonderful place to spend some time the vibe inside is so great. And there is no charge open daily 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Absolutely beautiful experience...enjoy.

When it's time to really make someone's day, go with Ethel M. This facility is immaculate and the service personnel are outstanding. The chocolates are unrivaled. Just bring your wallet. The best is never cheap.

For Valentine's Day and for mine and my LTP's birthday this year (our birthdays are just six days apart from each other), my parents decided to book a wine and chocolate pairing with us at Ethel M. My parents did this with my best friend's mom and stepdad during the holidays and they enjoyed it so much that they wanted to do it again. They didn't have any tasting openings on the 14th and after the 16th, so we booked for the 13th and considered this an early Valentine's Day/birthday gathering. We got there early (where we sampled some delicious milk and dark chocolates upon entering by a welcoming receptionist named Lawrence) and hung around the lounge area until it was time to go inside the tasting room. Before the tasting began, we watched a short video of how Ethel M got started, what to expect during, and the introduction of chocolatier Mark Mackey. Our tasting host was Alan, who slipped in some jokes here and there during to keep all of us entertained. We were given five different wines and five different chocolates to try out, which included a taste/texture guide and an aroma/flavor wheel. Chocolates included were Bananas Foster, Peanut Butter, Guajillo Pecan Caramel Rupture, Blood Orange, and Kona Espresso. My favorite of them all was the peanut butter; when tasting this with the wine, it was exactly like I was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. My best friend's mom's idea was to take half a bite of a chocolate and then take the rest home for later; my mom suggested this to us but I ended up finishing it all (except for the Guajillo one, my least favorite). As a thank you for partaking in the tasting, we were offered a 15% discount for Ethel M's entire store and free access to the botanical garden display. I learned this trip that the botanical garden is only decorated semi-annually; Valentine's Day and Christmas. Having lived in Henderson since 2000, I think this was only my third time visiting Ethel M and the botanical garden. The walkthrough was short, but all the lights and decorations all around made it even better! Oh yeah, and we took some chocolates home too using our discount cards. We couldn't forget that! One coincidence happened here and we didn't know about it until the next day. It turns out, my former coworker's daughter was in the same tasting class as us and we didn't even recognize it until she saw my photos on my IG. How crazy! Anyway, the tasting was a new and interesting experience. If you haven't tried it yet, I'd definitely recommend it! Also visit the botanical garden at night if you want to see all the lights!

YES to this place! For the chocolate store: Love their high quality chocolates, service is always so friendly, and you can really buy a box of whatever you want here. Prices do seem high for chocolate but let me tell you it is very high quality and worth it. I love the liquor filled chocolates and their best-seller lemon cream chocolate bar is very good too. We bought a big variety box of chocolates are the holiday and everything in it was good. When you walk around this store depending on the time of day, you can see chocolate being made and get one free sample. Fun. The Cactus Garden: During Christmas time it charges a small amount but is well worth it. So beautiful and glowing! A must do Christmas attraction! I heard they may do lights or something festive for Valentine's or a few other times a year but I do not know if that is true or know much about it. During the rest of the year it's free to walk through. Even though there are not regularly lights there, it's still beautiful and more appropriate for a day-time visit. A fun outing.

I visited the botanical cactus garden and tasted some chocolates in the tasting room with my family. We enjoyed the free choice of truffles and other kinds too. We tried the lemon crème, rum, and honey truffle, which were all delicious and we bought three and others to take home. Extremely friendly service. Definitely worth a try and just found out thatThey are sell at airport too. But here is different experience.

We had a very fun and enjoyable "chocolate and wine tasting" experience and then enjoyed a free visit to their Christmas lights in the cactus garden. For the tasting, the wine selection is actually better than the chocolates. I know chocolate flavor and tasting are highly personal and intricate. However, it will be better if cocoa percentage is higher and they don't just give in to sugar. The garden during the holiday season is so beautiful to visit. It's decorated with 1 million lights and they designed it very well. Many photo ops corners and Santa was even there! The service for the tasting and all around are friendly and positive. I won't mind coming back again next year for the holiday lights!

The annual cactus garden holiday lights is nice. The entry fee is reasonable. The parking is challenging. There was a line formed and it took about 20 minutes to get to the security check point. You read that correctly. There is a security check in. They check purses and use metal detector wands. Did not expect that. There was then another line to stand in to pay to enter the garden. We decided to just go into the building. We got a couple of free pieces of candies. The hot chocolate was overpriced IMO and too sweet. Overall, it was still a nice experience.

Visited the Ethel M Chocolates Cactus Garden holiday event and it was absolutely magical. The atmosphere was festive, cozy, and perfectly done for the holiday season The hot chocolate was amazing--rich, warm, and exactly what you want while walking through the lights. Santa was there handing out free chocolates, which was such a fun and generous touch, especially for families. Between the beautiful cactus garden lights, the sweet treats, and the overall vibe, this is a must-do holiday experience in Las Vegas. Perfect way to get into the holiday spirit

Free sample of 1 dark or milk chocolate candy upon arrival. Dark is 65% Self guided tour through windows of the factory. We see mostly robots processing the goods, a tech person does walk around to check on the machines. At the end of the line, Lucy and Ethel picks out the rejects ;) All tours ends at a gift shop. I ordered a Mexican Hot Chocolate which is made to order so it is not fast food I watched her cook the milk, add the spices and chocolate. Upon exiting the building, see get to walk through the well manicured cactus garden. What a pleasant experience.

Ethel M has the best chocolates - some for every taste too! Crunchy, smooth, or liquor filled, so many varieties to please everyone's palates. I love the liquors and get cherries for myself and the variety pack that looks like little barrels for 21+ gifts. They are always a hit! Plus, outside is a beautiful cactus garden decorated for every holiday season, including Valentine's Day. In the store, there are adorable Valentine's chocolate gift boxes available for purchase. Super easy to access near Green Valley and SE Las Vegas. Great service and military discounts after showing ID!

Ethel M Chocolates Factory & Flagship store Henderson, NV September 2025 Truffles

I love going to Ethel M Chocolates Factory & Flagship store. It is always amazing. I was actually gifted a small box of cacti in 2010 that used to be sold in their store. Most of them lived over a decade. I still have one alive from that box, now 15 years old and still thriving. Sadly, they don't sell those boxes anymore. Anyway, there is now a Tasting Room experience. There is still a free self-guided tour that comes with a free milk or dark chocolate. There's a small restaurant that had ice cream, milkshakes, cupcakes (we got 2 delicious red velvet cupcakes - yummy stuff, highly recommend!!), candied oranges, and chocolate covered marshmallows. There's are 2 truffle counters that have a variety of individual chocolates including plain, caramel, nut, creamy truffle, crispy, and liquers. There's an array of chocolate goodness- truffle boxes, chocolate bars in a variety of flavors - we got milk chocolate & caramel bars. They also had gourmet cocoa tins. As lovely as the inside & all of the chocolate divinity that is on offer - the outside is a treat for the soul - an incredible cactus garden that is free to walk through. We were there on a windy day when rain was forecast (but didn't come down while we were there), and so the path was nearly empty. There was only one other couple walking the paths. We walked, we gawked, we took selfies & many photos, and we sat on a bench and just hung out for awhile - it was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommend!! The lights for Christmas were being strung, but weren't lit yet & the garden was all the more enchanting without the Christmas lights. I loved every minute there! If you haven't gone or haven't been there in a while - I cannot recommend the experience of the cactus garden highly enough!!!!!!!

Every visit to Ethel M's feels like a treat. My most recent visit on 10/2 felt no different. We were on a mission, to help my husband find some nice treats for his colleagues for an upcoming work trip. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly employee offering us a taste of either their milk or dark chocolate. Is there a better way to be welcomed than to be offered free chocolate? I don't think so. In addition to buying some treats for the hubby's colleagues, we left with some of our own - a red velvet cupcake (discounted to $2 which was an hour before the store closed for the evening) and 3 of their chocolates from their fall collection - Milk Chocolate Red Velvet Truffle, White Chocolate Pumpkin Spice, and Milk Chocolate Cinnamon Apple Caramel - all delicious and perfectly evocative of fall. A few years ago, we tried their chocolate tasting experience too, which was fun, yummy, and educational too, so I'd encourage anyone interested in that to give it a go. This place is great for chocolate lovers, a fun place to bring out-of-town guests, kids, people who like cactus - a general crowd pleaser. 10/10 recommend!

I've been told for years to visit this spot, especially during the holidays when they light up the cactus garden. Knowing how crowded it gets at night, I opted for a daytime visit instead. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly staff member and offered a chocolate sample before heading over to view the chocolate-making machinery. The layout features a seating area and counter near the front, with a full chocolate shop and a second counter in the back. Following a recommendation, I tried the hot chocolate, and it was absolutely delicious. I also took a stroll through the cactus garden, which was surprisingly peaceful. While I missed the Christmas lights this time, I'll definitely try to make it back next year. This is such a charming local gem!

One friend ordered the Theo Salad, which looked incredible, and another had the Souvlaki Platter. Everything that came to the table looked phenomenal, and the portions were impressively generous. You definitely get a lot of food for your money here. Beyond the food, I was also impressed by their beverage selection. While I didn't try any of the drinks this visit, they offer a variety of unique coffees, juices, and specialty beverages that looked fantastic. And then there were the desserts. Our server mentioned that many of them are imported, and they looked absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be making another trip back just to sample a few of them. It's hard to beat a family-owned restaurant that delivers on every level--fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and an impressive selection of drinks and desserts. If I had known they use that much I would've said no feta cheese. They did try to make it right by bringing me a dessert which I really didn't care for because it tasted a little bit stale however, when the lady brought me that I told her I would just keep it and pick the cheese up cause I was hungry. She said she would ask the chef I think most places would've just redone it but she said she had to ask plus it was getting late and I didn't wanna wait but it kind of turned me off that she said, let me go ask the chef so I was like no just forget it. Edited to say: Saying it was near closing is not true my daughter had a dress rehearsal and I could look up the exact time but I'm pretty sure I dropped her off before 5:30 PM and that is not your closing time and the waitress did say to me she had to ask you and I told her just forget it. I did not think it was OK for someone to say let me go ask the chef she should've just said that they would fix it but she didn't. She said they had to ask first and I am not lying about that which is another reason I will not return because now I had to see your response and go in here and edit it. I decided to pre order the 8" red velvet with a birthday topper that was an additional $10 sur charge. Total including the cake was $40. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. They also have cakes in various sizes and flavors ready to go. Decorations were very cute. The cake was super moist and the signature cream cheese frosting was delicious. I have to say I think it was one of the best red velvet cakes I've ever had. I've not tried any of the other favors yet, but will definitely try for other occasions and highly recommended.

I was worried that they'd be too busy with Christmas orders, that's why I preordered and didn't just come into the shop. Walking in, the shop is super cute! I didn't know they had kitchenware and other decorative items for sale, as well as the Bundt cakes. I feel like I've had a lot of Nothing Bundt Cakes but have never been inside one of the stores until now. It was pretty crowded inside, but they had all of the Bundtlets and they had people ordering the larger format ones as well. I didn't have to do the preorder but I'm glad I did. The people working the counters were so nice and were really quick and efficient. I was called up, I gave my name and within a few minutes I was walking away with my order. Smooth, easy and friendly experience. Now if only leaving Mall Ring Circle 2 days before Christmas was that easy... Oh and btw, the cake was DELICIOUS!!!

Yelp! review #20 of 2026 Online order April 04…read more I stopped by the 85°C Bakery Cafe in Henderson (673 N Stephanie St) to pick up a birthday cake for a friend, and it also served a dual purpose for a class assignment on experiencing Filipino food. We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!
