Super fancy chocolate shop located in the lobby of the Venetian…read more I stopped here on our way out of Vegas for a treat for the wife back home. She's a chocolate lover, so I figured I could find something great here. I found many fantastic options! The only problem here is the prices. Everything is pretty pricey. I've been to independent boutique chocolate shops before, but this one was priced even higher than others, likely due to its strip location. There is also no seating inside, but plenty in the casino. I ended up grabbing one of their cookies. It was double chocolate and reasonably priced. It was loaded with chocolate and was incredibly rich all the way through. The guy working the front counter was super nice and chill. He chatted with me for a while after my purchase. Next time I'd like to grab a sipping chocolate, as it seems like that's a speciality of theirs here. Overall, a great chocolate shop if you're willing to spend more than typical.

Known for their specialty chocolate drinks, pastries, and bean-to-bar chocolates from around the world, this little shop is probably a chocolate lover's dream. Think Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but make it much, much more sophisticated! We all know I LOVE matcha. So imagine my disappointment when I discovered there wasn't a matcha latte to be found on the menu. THE HORROR! Hiding my disappointment, I decided to venture outside my comfort zone and order something I'd never tried before: a Frozen Mocha. Let me tell you though... it was actually quite the magical discovery! I'm not even much of an iced coffee person, but this was something different, something better. A rich, frozen blend of chocolate and Ritual espresso, topped with cocoa nib-infused whipped cream. The chocolate was incredibly rich and decadent but definitely not overwhelming, the espresso was perfection, and even the whipped cream deserves a chef's kiss! It was like drinking the most luxurious chocolate dessert! While waiting for our drinks, sampled some of Dandelion's chocolates made from cacao beans sourced from around the world. It's amazing how different chocolate can taste depending on where the beans are grown. We eventually settled into the small seating area to enjoy our drinks and I almost wish I had more room in my stomach to try some of their pastries but my wallet was thankful I didn't. Dandelion Chocolate was definitely an unexpected highlight of my Vegas weekend. I trekked over to the Venetian looking for a good coffee, was initially disappointed by the lack of matcha, yet ended up discovering one of the most delicious frozen drinks I've ever had. There's still so much more on the menu I'd love to explore, and I really do think I'll be making another stop the next time I'm in Las Vegas.

All of the chocolate items are arranged depending on what you're looking for, like chocolate boxes, or bars. There are also a variety of options to select from, making it really difficult to narrow down which ones to purchase! My husband and I did try out a few different samples that the amazing team at Royce Chocolate offered! I selected matcha chocolates. They tasted wonderful. The taste of matcha was mild and had no overwhelming flavor! There was another matcha flavored chocolate box that was more of a cheesecake flavor, it was good, but I ended up going with their standard matcha flavor. Royce' Chocolate is a great way to add variety to your walk through The Shoppes at the Palazzo in Las Vegas and I most definitely will go back and try additional flavors next time. I think I'll try to buy a bag of one of their chocolate covered chips.

I had an amazing experience here from the Yelp Elite event so I went back to stock up some on some amazing Royce Chocolates. Today things were different. Nobody said a word about the chocolates and nobody offered any samples. The girl working here just said, "what do you want to buy?" I did say that I was uncertain about a few flavors that I read about in the catalog. The one I was most interested in she did say was located in the refrigerator and just pointed instead of telling me about it. I just purchased two boxes of the seasonal chocolate covered macadamia chocolates since I know that they are amazing. Side note to locals - I recently found out that we don't always get our three hours of free parking here. Certain Sphere shows are considered to be special events and those evenings cost $30. to park.

I wanted something for myself and hubby wanted to bring some to his co-workers. I picked a 10 pieces box with assorted flavors, I liked the lemon and salted caramel the most. The sales rep was so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I also got chocolate lollipops and berry bites. Hubby got a bunch different flavors of chocolate bars as gifts. The packaging was very nice as well. Overall the experience was very pleasant! Those chocolates have no preservatives. They use the finest Belgian chocolate base. The chocolates are handcrafted in the states. So they are the highest qualities of chocolates!

The disappointment was not the flavor of the chocolates. It was the bare minimal of customer service. The young lady who helped us was all smiles but did not really know the flavors she was selling. Which to me was not a big deal because she was nice about it. However the other employee, the blonde young lady with the glasses was either having a bad day or just unpleasant in general. I purchased a box of chocolates for my friend birthday. On another display there were chocolate bars that they had put together and tied with a ribbon. I asked her if she can tie a ribbon around the box I was going to purchase. She looked over to her colleague, the blonde who shook her head, no. So I asked if they can give me the ribbon and I can do it myself and got another no. I didn't think cutting a ribbon would have been such a big deal they had scissors and the ribbon. So basically their strong point is NOT hospitality or good customer service skills at cocoa dolce.

This was started by the Hershey's patriarch trying to prove a point to his kids - Ethel being his wife's name. And they make some pretty amazing, tasty versions of chocolate classics, with smooth truffles, a delicious self-made peanut butter, and sweet sticky pecan brittle. This is one of the few chocolates my family takes as a treat to ask for more of, but there's no local store close to me. Beautifully designed, bright colors sourced from natural ingredients still make for some truly beautiful treats. The little peanut-shaped peanut-butter dark/milk chocolates are my favorite with the port selection! I honestly didn't know what to expect going in, but it turned out to be a really fun experience. I even enjoyed getting to know the other people in my class! All of the chocolates we sampled were delicious, and the wine pairings were a nice touch. I also appreciated that the chocolate-tasting options change, so each experience can be a little different. I do wish the slideshow had been a bit longer, and it would have been nice to take home a piece of our favorite chocolate from the tasting as a little souvenir. One thing that would have made the experience even better would be a short tour showing how the chocolate is made, or perhaps a little more hands-on participation. It would have been fun to see more of the process behind the delicious chocolates we were tasting! That said, I still had a great time and think the class is a wonderful experience for chocolate lovers. There's also a shop where you can purchase the chocolates you sampled, along with other treats like chocolate-covered apples and cupcakes, which is a nice bonus! I didn't quite get my I Love Lucy chocolate-factory moment , but I still really enjoyed the experience! Overall, I would definitely recommend Ethel M Chocolates and would absolutely return, especially to see the Christmas lights! It's a sweet experience with welcoming staff, delicious chocolates, and a fun atmosphere. I'd love to see them build on the class with a little more behind-the-scenes access in the future!

I liked that they had both sweet and savory options, and the line wraps around the display cases so you can look at everything before getting to the front to place your order. There was also a little seating area next to it so we could relax and enjoy our food. In case it's full when you go, there's additional seating down the hall that we didn't notice until we left. Once we ordered our food, it felt like only 5-10 minutes passed before we got it, which I think is pretty fast. It also came in a fancier to-go container with a transparent lid, which definitely helped maintain the presentation. The egg white omelet wasn't too heavy, and I liked how it was flatter, which made it easy to split so my husband and I could also order a crepe. The strawberry and cream crepe we chose had a decent amount of strawberries on top and a generous helping of whipped cream on the side. They had a Nutella option, but none with both. I'd recommend asking if they could add it if that's what you're craving. Pricing here, I think, is fair considering how much food is generally in Vegas. Would definitely come back if I stayed at this hotel again, since all of the pastries looked so good!

It wasn't really inviting. I also expected a lot more options, especially after looking at their website and Yelp where you see so many different cookies and flavors. When we got there, the selection was much smaller than I expected. We ended up ordering 7 cookies, and I did appreciate that they put them all individually and in a box instead of just throwing everything together. I tried the ube crinkle and it was okay--not my favorite, but it was definitely soft! The rest were for other people and everyone said their cookies were good too. Seven cookies came out to around $35-$40, and at that price I would've preferred getting a few more cookies instead of packaging. They just over package in my opinion. Overall, the cookies were good! I just wish there were more options, the place was a little more inviting and you got a little more for the price.
