My personal favorites are the Chocolate Chip and the Ube Crinkle--both are absolutely delicious and always leave me wanting another. I also tried their Viet Coffee and tasted more like chocolate milk, but that's okay! I was there for the cookies. The store is clean, the staff is friendly, and I was happy to see they added more seating for customers while they wait. It's a small touch that makes the experience even better. This is a small cookie bake shoppe. The staff member in the front was helpful and recommended some options. Display of model cookies I found to be a little disheveled and if your displaying your product I would think you'd want a nice presentation..cookie names kinda everywhere and crumbs or such within the display. I don't know but for me presentation is important and if all you have is a display of model cookies of what the product should look like then I would think you'd want it on point but that's just me. I ordered the mango sticky rice along with the Dubai strawberry brownie the display turned me off so I went another route now that I was committed & in the store personally I thought both were average and for about $40 for the two I don't know if I'll come back. I stopped in after seeing something on social media. They don't have a ton of options (maybe they rotate?) but the space is clean and the service was friendly, I also love that they offer a no chip cookie- a chocolate chip cookie dough without the chocolate chips. I thought the prices were a bit high for what this is. I got sold on the scoop a bowl, which is a gooey cookie and soft serve, for the price I wouldn't do it again. It is a huge portion, and I couldn't even get close to finishing it so that makes the price a little harder to justify, unless you live close and can put it in the freezer for later. Maybe worth it to share with a few people? I also got the ube crinkle cookie for another day, and it was good. I like that they are sealed, which makes it easy to travel with and keep fresher, again, expensive for a basic cookie, but tasty. Drove 40 minutes just to try this place, so I came in pretty excited... but unfortunately the mangoes were extremely sour!!! like, inedible sour. I ended up tossing the whole thing, which was disappointing. What made it even more frustrating was the experience after. I had commented on Instagram saying how excited I was to try them, then followed up mentioning the mangoes were sour, and somehow both the content creator and the shop's IG started clapping back I wasn't rude, literally just said it was sour. Instead of apologizing or acknowledging the issue, they replied saying they're "unable to taste all the mangoes," which honestly felt like a wild response. Especially because I've seen others mention the same issue! At that point it feels less like a one-off and more like a trend that should probably be addressed. Yummy sweet treat! My bf surprised me by bringing me to this little cookie shop for dessert after dinner. We came by Sunday around 6:30pm and this place was popping!It is located in a plaza with other stores and a mexican/Italian restaurant across the street. It is a cute little shop. It was a small place with 4 small tables. There were 2 small groups so we waited a bit for them to order before we ordered. Oh my goodness.... Let's just start there! I had to visit after I saw on instagram they had a soft serve cookie bowl and I needed it real bad and it did NOT disappoint. In a time like now, where prices are high, I'm selective of where I go to spend but this place will keep me coming back for sure! They are very fair in pricing with decent portion sizing of bowls and cups, and the taste is 10/10 across the board. Now let's get to the service... there was a very very kind young man working the counter wearing glasses I didn't catch his name but he was so respectful and willing to assist and answer any question this young man was raised right, motivated and brought such a good energy to the shop. It was such a pleasure meeting him. I came back again recently and ordered the same thing and I feel like it doesn't taste as good and the ratio was bad. There was too much kataifi and the chocolate wasn't melty. They offer an amazing variety of cookies, creamy soft-serve ice cream, and their famous Dubai Chocolate Cup -- which, no surprise, tends to sell out almost every day. They had ube, pandan, lemon, blueberry muffin and other classic flavors. There's a series of chocolate Dubai like the cookie, brownie, strawberry cup and heart shaped. We came specifically for the Dubai cookie. Disclaimer: We had it a day old because I was waiting for others to sample with me. We had no fridge or microwave in the hotel. Not sure how it would taste fresh. This review is based on one day old. With that said, I'm not sure if I like it. It's too sweet for me because the bottom layer is cookie dough, middle is the pistachio cream knafeh and a thick layer of milk chocolate with a scoop of pistachio knafeh on top. I like the crunch from the knafeh and it's a biscoff so it's crunchy but sweet. I guess it's a hit or miss and this viral version is not for me. If we return, I would try the strawberry cup version and feel that the fruit would balance out the sweetness and still retain that crunch. read more
