I'm honestly writing this in tears. The bowl I ordered ( via doordash ) was exactly what you'd expect for the price--large, beautifully made, and clearly prepared with care. I had ordered it with the biscoff kataifi, and they included a sweet note letting me know they had run out. Instead, they added two cookies to make up for it, which was completely unnecessary but deeply appreciated. What made it even more special is that I'm not usually a fan of chocolate chip cookies, and I've always wanted to try their ube cookie--and those were exactly the ones they gave me. ( no chip cookie & ube cookie ) It felt so thoughtful and intentional. I happened to be having a rough morning, and this small act of kindness truly turned my entire day around. Moments like this are such a beautiful reminder of how good God is, and how His goodness can show up through people in the most unexpected ways. It also reminded me that there are still kind, genuine, and thoughtful people in this world. The quality of the food speaks for itself--everything tasted amazing and was absolutely worth the price. Oh my goodness.... Let's just start there! I had to visit after I saw on instagram they had a soft serve cookie bowl and I needed it real bad and it did NOT disappoint. Absolutely delicious the oreo chocolate chip cookies were so soft and chewy around the edges...this is my type of cookie, the vanilla soft serve was so light and simple, the bowl itself was HUGE! In a time like now, where prices are high, I'm selective of where I go to spend but this place will keep me coming back for sure! They are very fair in pricing with decent portion sizing of bowls and cups, and the taste is 10/10 across the board. Now let's get to the service... there was a very very kind young man working the counter wearing glasses I didn't catch his name but he was so respectful and willing to assist and answer any question this young man was raised right, motivated and brought such a good energy to the shop. It was such a pleasure meeting him. Drove 40 minutes just to try this place, so I came in pretty excited... but unfortunately the mangoes were extremely sour!!! like, inedible sour. I ended up tossing the whole thing, which was disappointing. What made it even more frustrating was the experience after. I had commented on Instagram saying how excited I was to try them, then followed up mentioning the mangoes were sour, and somehow both the content creator and the shop's IG started clapping back I wasn't rude, literally just said it was sour. Instead of apologizing or acknowledging the issue, they replied saying they're "unable to taste all the mangoes," which honestly felt like a wild response. Especially because I've seen others mention the same issue! At that point it feels less like a one-off and more like a trend that should probably be addressed. I came here for the first time when they just opened. I got the Dubai strawberry cup, price is steep but I thought it was delicious. Could easily share it between 2-3 people. Great strawberries to chocolate, pistachio, and kataifi ratio. I probably ate half the cup by myself. I came back again recently and ordered the same thing and I feel like it doesn't taste as good and the ratio was bad. There was too much kataifi and the chocolate wasn't melty. I was basically eating spoonfuls of it trying to dig for a piece of strawberry. It felt way too sweet and got tired of it after having less than 1/4th of the cup. I finally got the chance to check out Bake the Cookie Shoppe off South Decatur and 215, and wow -- it did not disappoint! I went yesterday with my little sister for an early-late lunch snack, and we absolutely loved every moment here. Located in the southwest of Vegas, this spot is totally worth the price and the drive. They offer an amazing variety of cookies, creamy soft-serve ice cream, and their famous Dubai Chocolate Cup -- which, no surprise, tends to sell out almost every day. We tried both the soft-serve ice cream and the Dubai Chocolate Cup, and now I completely understand why it's so highly favored by both locals and tourists. The flavors were rich, the textures were perfect, and every bite felt indulgent in the best way. This place is a solid 10/10 for me, and I'm already planning my next visit. I initially wanted to come here because I saw the cookies and ice on tik tok. I didn't get it cause I didn't see it in the menu. I ended up getting half dozen (chocolate chip, ube& oreo, and Oreo milkshake). The cookies were big and soft. My son thinks they taste like Crumbl but these cookies are definitely softer than them which I like. They had cookies to try so that made my decision easier. Service was nice and quick. I must say I had high expectations when visiting here. Instagram definitely does its job with hyping up a place. While it wasn't a terrible experience, it fell short of what I expected for the ambiance and consumption of the items purchased. The look of the location lacks and the items in the display were not visually appealing to me. I got the oreo milkshake cookie which was tasty and the Dubai Strawberry Cup which was just alright. Mari helped us this time. Mari did a great job. I was greeted at the door. I took both my sisters and family for desserts. They loved all of it! We came specifically for the Dubai cookie. Disclaimer: We had it a day old because I was waiting for others to sample with me. We had no fridge or microwave in the hotel. Not sure how it would taste fresh. This review is based on one day old. With that said, I'm not sure if I like it. It's too sweet for me because the bottom layer is cookie dough, middle is the pistachio cream knafeh and a thick layer of milk chocolate with a scoop of pistachio knafeh on top. I like the crunch from the knafeh and it's a biscoff so it's crunchy but sweet. I guess it's a hit or miss and this viral version is not for me. A bit pricier than making your own cookies at home or buying from elsewhere - i.e.: one premium cookie is $8, but I think they're worth a try once (or every now and then). I got an Ube Oreo cookie, Coffee Cake cookie and a premium Caramel Coconut cookie. All were amazing. The coffee cake cookie truly tasted like a coffee cake but disguised in the form of the cookie. My total was about $20 for three cookies. The inside of the bakery is simply just for placing or picking up orders, keep in mind there is no seating for guests. My companions didn't even want to finish them because, according to one, there was no pistachio flavor, and the other said it needed more strawberries and tasted like peanut butter, which needed more chocolate. There are multiple cookie options, but again, they're good, and there was nothing remarkable or spectacular about paying five dollars for a single cookie. I'm not sure what all the hype is about. I was in and out the service was quick. The simplest bake shop. The store is plain and simple no decoration plain black wall, no dine in. You get in line pick your order and that's it.
