He showed me how to transfer my information, navigate the phone, and use important features without ever making me feel rushed. What impressed me most was not only his knowledge, but also his professionalism and kindness. He is far beyond what most people would expect from a retail store employee. His expertise, patience, and willingness to help were truly outstanding. While I was in the store, I noticed he treated every customer with the same level of respect and attention. He is a real asset to T-Mobile and deserves recognition from corporate for the excellent work he does. The last time I received service this good was years ago when the Sprint store in Garden City was still operating. GD is a diamond in this store, and other employees could learn a great deal from his example. Thank you, GD, for making what could have been a frustrating experience easy and enjoyable. -- Alison B

This program launched in 2016. Now, the T-Mobile Tuesdays app got updated to the T Life app. The app is free to download. On some Tuesdays, T-Mobile offers free physical items for customers to redeem via the app and pick up in-store. Some of those items are reusable tote, winter blanket, socks in honor of Pride Month, a notebook in honor of Black History Month, Halloween "Trick-or-Treat" bucket, and so much more. On April 21st, T-Mobile stores were stocked with free reusable bags perfect for groceries, beach days, or everyday use for T-Mobile customers to redeem. The bags feature a rectangular design with a zipper up top and a grass design around the entire bag and a big T-Mobile 'T' logo. I visited this T-Mobile store on Old Country Road in Westbury, NY. There are a few parking spots up front. I clicked redeem on the perk and it started the timer of 5 minutes for redemption. Staff were friendly and helpful. Download the T Life app if you have T-Mobile and haven't done so already.

As has been said before by many others, this company has bad customer service. Far worse than the…read moreservice is their dishonesty. Astound is a good name for these people. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

The Manager told us and gave is all of these promise of a great deal that we were supposed to get and so we were convinced and purchased the phones. Take a long story short the deal was we where to get a monthly bill of $136.00 (that includes full unlimited service on data and tethers... the works. Also insurance and payments towards the phones) but instead was $260.00. Of course we went back and fourth with the store and Tmobile corporate. The issue was being dealt with from November till early February. The Manager at that store lied to us about payments and what was being sold to us. Corporate had to handle our account to get close of the deal she promised us! But this particular "deal" wasn't a real deal that Tmobile carried or approved of but they had to accommodate us because the manager at the store lied about this deal just in order to get us to buy phones. Also to add insult to injury she asked for $300.00 in cash to make this "deal" to happen when we 1stt went in store in November. Also we found out dealing with corporate was that this manager added an extra tablet line and watch line on our account. The manager at this particular store is exercising some suspected fraudulent practices in that store. If she's there beware of even dealing with this store!
