We bought our own and left it behind for the next guests. * 2nd bedroom had no shades on an upper window so when the sun came up, it lit up the entire room * One lamp in master bedroom, two nightstands. The lightbulb in the only lamp in the bedroom barely illuminated = useless. We switched out a bulb from the one lamp in living room * clothes washer didn't work (well) and it really makes me question how clean the bedsheets were given it did a crap job cleaning our clothes * about an hour prior to our departure, we loaded the dishwasher and ran it - and that didn't appear to work either. I checked it after it went dead silent after 15 minutes - soap hadn't been run through and it didn't appear to be working. Again, makes me wonder how clean the utensils and everything were Overall, it just appeared as though very little was done to keep it up. Whoever their cleaning person is - or whoever is in charge of quality control there needs to pay attention to detail and what works and doesn't. I will say that the contact for the rental was very responsive. I'd reached out to make them aware of a few things that I didn't want to get charged for (light bulb not working, a towel rod in hall bath pulling away from the wall, towels with huge bleach stains ) and they offered to come and fix and I declined. More attention to detail is needed here and appliances need to be checked/repaired.

He picked us up at the hotel on time. After filling out some simple paperwork we were on our way. We traveled to places and saw sights that we would have never even fathomed existed if it hadn't been for Marcus. We were able to see areas that the typical tourist driving there own vehicles would never see. We did see things that are characteristic of Moab also....arches and petroglyphs for example. Marcus will tailor the excursion to meet your needs. He had water and snacks in the vehicle. If you have them take your hiking boots. The icing on the cake was that he was much more affordable than many of his competitors.

The delay itself was frustrating, but the lack of customer service was far worse. There was no apology, explanation, or effort to address the inconvenience. When I spoke with a manager and requested compensation, he was largely unresponsive and eventually said he would call me back. Even more concerning, management disputed the timeline of events despite me showing the timestamp of the hotel's own phone call notifying me that the room was ready. Rather than acknowledging the issue, the focus seemed to be on defending the property's records. Delays happen, but good customer service is about how you handle them. Unfortunately, WorldMark Moab failed on that front. This was the worst hotel/timeshare check-in experience I've ever had, and it significantly affected the start of our trip. I expected much better from a Wyndham/WorldMark property.

We met up with some friends in Moab on our way back from Burning Man. Being there for one day, we…read morewanted to make the most of it. Our friends recommended we take a tour on a Unimog. We aren't really the "tour" kind of people, but the Unimog sounded fun. We called and made our reservation, and planned to meet our driver, John, at the Visitor's Center in the middle of town. This proved to be a great place to park. We met John and his very sweet dog, who rides along in the passenger seat. John loaded us up and told us he was taking us to Hell's Revenge. About five minutes after we left the Visitor's Center, we were climbing huge boulders. The Unimog is by far one of the coolest vehicles I've ever been off road in. John really knows how to use it too. John has over 30 years of offroad driving experience. He is a desert tracker, and is part of the Grand County Search & Rescue. He also loves to tell bad jokes and riddles. You will have fun on a tour with him. I'd recommend the sunset tour, because he keeps you out after the sun goes down, letting your eyes adjust to the darkening sky. Then,once it is dark, he drives back over all the boulders without turning the lights on. It's a beautiful ride and it's amazing what you can see, even without moonlight. During the tour we saw some Hummer tours and it was funny how the Hummers would take the easier route up. That Unimog can go anywhere!

After calling John to talk about the tour and to get some questions answered, I decided to book my entire group of 8. We met two days later at the Visitor Center parking lot in Moab for the tour. We were gone close to 5 hours and enjoyed every minute of the excursion. John is not only an amazing driver, but great tour guide. He was funny, entertaining, and knowledgeable of the area. He is truly passionate about what he does it shows in the quality and joy of the tour. This was my first time in a Uni-Mog and it was awesome. I think this is the best off-road vehicle one can possibly have! Seriously, we crawled up and down steep slick rock like it was easy. All of the other people on the trail with other tours stopped to take our photos and marvel in this off-road thing of beauty. We had such a good time and felt safe. The prices are very reasonable and we will be back for sure!

So much of what made the trip special was the "blue buddy" we rented from SW Jeep Adventures. We wanted to be flexible in where we stayed during our week in Moab, so we opted for renting a Jeep with camper top. Little did we know that was the best decision we could have made. Our host, Emily, not only outfitted us with all the gear we needed (sleeping bags, mats, pillow, cooking supplies, headlamps, chairs, fridge, etc) but most importantly she also provided us with guidance on the best places to park our Jeep at night. We opted for free, dispersed camping sites, which were amazing. The 4x4 routes we took to get to those camping spots were breathtaking. I pulled over constantly to take photos. Emily was great with communication before and also during our trip. She customized our gear based on what we needed and didn't need. After our flight time got changed, she went out and reserved us a camp site for the first night since we would be arriving after dark. She even looked at the forecast and threw in an extra blanket for us which turned out to be clutch! I very much appreciate her attention to detail which I might not have gotten from a larger place with a huge fleet of jeeps. I plan on coming back with my two daughters when they're of age for such an adventure and we'll be calling Emily for sure! PS- I'm not a huge 4x4 nerd but apparently the jeep we rented is hot stuff. We got a lot of comments from admirers and folks drooling over the camper top (Ursa Minor) and just in general at the rig. It's a handsome ride! As I head back home to drive my Subaru Outback, I may be missing blue buddy a bit!

We turned the AC on to try to remove the smell. That didn't work. Also... The furnishings were not acceptable. The hand rests on the chairs were ripped and gross. You couldn't rest your hands on them without touching the mystery cracks. The bed was jammed in a corner and seemed quite worn. Not the cleanest place I have stayed at, but one of the dingiest. We asked for another room. The woman gave us a double queen room in the back with only a wall to look at. She confirmed the cost to be 139.00 plus tax. Total 169.00. We asked for another room and she gave us another 2queen room. But at least we got sunshine in the room. Again she varifies the cost... 169.00 total. The room was ok. Not the cleanest and not the luxury king I had paid for. When we went to check out it got very interesting. I called the office before checking out. I talked to the owner telling him the situation and how we were inconvenienced on checkin. The owner said he would give us a 50.00 Credit. All is well... so we thought. The room we thought was going to be 169.00- 50.00 ended up over 220.00+. The owner was very aggressive in his tone. There was no way he was going to honor the price quoted by his employee. We Went back and forth but there was going to be no compromise. He was not going to honor the price given to us by his front desk person. We were not given the room I reserved. I told him I thought he had a sh***y hotel. He flipped out, yelled at me swearing non stop. He went to the door of his hotel opened it and screamed... get the f*** out of my hotel. Did my comment about his hotel hit too close to home?

I immediately noticed little white dried up stains on the comforter and the crunch of dirt under my feet on the floor. Upon further inspection, I pulled the comforter back and noticed hair, to include what looked like a PUBIC hair... dried up white stains on the pillow shams too. I called the number provided in the guest book and no answer. I left a message asking if I could please get some clean sheets, I waited an hour and no response. I called the booking agency and they couldn't even get a hold of the property. I kept trying to call back with no luck. Now being in the military I've slept in some crappy places, but this was beyond. Also, the door handle was extremely loose and the door didn't even seal shut. I did not feel safe or comfortable trying to sleep here so I had to go down the road and book a last minute hotel. I still haven't received any communication from anyone regarding this over 24 hours later. They have zero standards for quality. Please don't make the same mistake I did, avoid this place.

I feel mislead on this rental - I started on Trip Advisor where this property was listed under "Kokopelli Lodgings" which I later found out means they have multiple properties! What I thought I was renting was NOT where I ended up at. There is Kokopelli West (which is what I thought I was renting), Kokopelli Lodge (which is where I ended up), Kokopelli Inn Towner and who knows how many other properties - BEWARE! Pay close attention to not end up disappointed like I was. I arrived AT "KOKOPELLI LODGE" around 7-8pm on 11/27/20. I had received information about how to enter the unit before the day of check in, just NOT WHAT UNIT I HAD RENTED!! I called the phone number for the property management and left a voice message. After some time had passed I decided to just try my door code on ANY unit that did NOT appear to be occupied - and just like hitting the jackpot, a door opened! Yay, glad I was able to find MY unit!! Then while I was organizing my things inside the unit the property management called - I told them NO UNIT was provided within any emails and how I randomly tried my door code on doors until one opened. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The Kokopelli Lodge units have paper thin walls, I could hear the neighbors talking on one side and the TV running all night long on the other side. When I turned on the shower - in the phone booth sized shower - there was a musty/mildew smell. Then I looked at the shower ceiling (which is painted purple) to see many dark spots of mildew/mold! I am a small person and let me tell you - the shower is SMALL, be prepared to hit your elbows multiple times washing your hair! The bathroom itself was very small, now I know why there were no pictures of the bathroom. I dropped something on the floor next to the bed and when I went to pick it up I noticed there were quite a few dust bunnies and hair from previous guests on the floor - gross. Also, I'm not sure when was the last time the floor throw rugs were washed - maybe last season by the looks of it! The wall unit heater, next to the head of the bed, kept us warm but also woke me every time it turned on which was often since the temps were in the 20's overnight and the front door was not hung straight so allowed cold air into the unit. Very minimal, small (especially the bathroom), a bit dirty (floors & mildew in shower) unit. Pros - close to main street so can walk to many restaurants, easy access electronic door locks, close to National Parks, sorry I can't think of anything else...
