Buyer BEWARE! I should have followed my original plan and paid more for my Cabinets. I paid for Cabinets in May and it's October and I still don't have a mini bar. I will update this as the events evolve, but I want to help anyone who is on the fence about whether or not this company is in ANY way on par with regular cabinet companies. From the quality of the cabinets actually delivered to the fraudulent installation company they use, the answer is a resounding NO! UPDATE: after filing a complaint with the the BBB, CTG agreed that it was fair to refund me for the installation. When I asked for the refund, they told me that since they already paid Installed Right they couldn't help me. Now I never signed off that the installation was complete, yet they paid the subcontractor in full without holding them accountable for the installation. DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE DIME. Check other reviews on multiple places for both CTG and Installed Right: google, BBB, Facebook and Google, Here are the details: Cabinets to Go subcontracts it's installation to Installed Right. They in turn subcontract to other Small businesses. As Installed Right is HQ in Michigan they don't do any vetting or background checks on the installation companies. Neither Cabinets to Go, nor Installed Right even had the proper address on file for their SUB sub contractor. Transcend Renovations LLC gave them a parking lot of a gas station as an address. The company even gave the GA Secretary of State a fraudulent business address. This conman owner John came in my home with my child and grandchild pretending to be an expert. He quoted me top dollar to do the extra work that Cabinets to Go doesn't handle: plumbing, electrical, etc. I paid it upfront as I thought Cabinets to Go was a big brand and I just didn't want any drama. My cabinets were ordered in May and it is now September. The cabinets were delivered with some damage and they look cheap against my expensive marble. Next, the installer was teaching his crew how to put the cabinets together and install them ON THE JOB AT MY EXPENSE. I had to tell one guy he wasn't putting the doors on a level floor but on a rug and they were crooked. Next the installers were incapable of putting the drawer pulls on level, botched the GFCI outlet installation, never did the plumbing, and ultimately refused to do the simple puck light installation that I already paid Transcend Renovations LLC for. He said he didn't know how to do it. So the marble guys improperly installed their marble because Transcend installed the base cabinets at a slant. At this point I am at a standstill because most of the cabinets have nicks, scratches or holes or were damaged upon delivery. Cabinets to Go did not initially follow up on my complaint. When I talked to them they were like "Well this is way more than a simple complaint." I had to give both Cabinets to Go and Installed Right John's home address because they didn't even know where he was located. To pay upfront for cabinets that already were not smooth, and where the paint comes off easily and then to have the installers damage the exterior, these cabinets look like I've had them for years. Just JUNK! I asked for a refund, and if I get it I'll update this review. But let me say this: it's not worth it. The lifetime warranty is a joke. It hasn't been installed yet and I can't get my cabinets fixed. THE BOTTOM LINE: Cabinets to Go sells shoddy cabinets, the paint comes off and they don't fix problems as promised. They don't take ownership of the resolution. But even more importantly they don't vet their crews so for your safety DONT let them in your home. We had all kitchen cabinets from the 70s replaced with cabinets from Cabinets to Go(CTG). The store manager Carmine was awesome and walked us through many options with pictures and design choices. We never had to go into the store. We saw everything either online or email or text and the results were awesome. Very smooth experience. We had special requests to keep the counter tops and the installer Robbie was gracious enough to allow this and did an excellent job in preserving the counter top. Cody and crew who actually put the cabinets in was awesome with the details and small problems and after we finished up painting and all the new appliance installs everything was awesome. Robbie's help with the loose ends was appreciated and we got all the details worked out. There were some issues, but this was a huge install and remodel and that is normal. From all home improvement and repair services in 20 year THE absolute WORST experience. They are not a remodeling company, they sell unassembled furniture and cheap sub-contractors. The quote was grossly incomplete and not reflective of the whole cost. Many details needed to be redone by myself. The installation was rocky and not good quality. There was no project overview, management from the store or quality assurance of any kind. If there was damage or any kind of screwup (and there was plenty) I was left with the charges. After 10 months our kitchen was still not completed. Above all, customer service is non-existent. They will only stall customers indefinitely and forward messages between contractor without comment. The staff in the store and ad headquarters was not responding to complaints. Absolute NOT recommended. Worst business in operation. read more

I purchased my kitchen back in May of 2022 and the store informed me that my cabinets were on back order and I will receive them July of 2022. I did not receive my cabinet until December of 2022. They sent an installer to my home that damaged my entire kitchen, ruined my wood floor, put a huge hole in my wall and did not install my cabinets properly. They store is not taking any accountability for the horrible job the installer did nor is customer came doing anything to fix the situation. Today is 12/17/2022 and I still do not have a kitchen. They will not refund my money or send a new installer to fix the mistake. I have called customer care 10 times to speak to a manager and the Carmine told me he was going to call me today before 12pm and has not called me back. The associate Daniel was so disrespectful to me stating they are not taking any accountability and if I have an issue with the install I need to speak with the install company because they have no affiliation with Cabinets to go even though they chose the installer. I paid $14K for this kitchen and it looks like crap. I am now not able to have my yearly Christmas party because I have no kitchen. I have been wasting money spending money outside because I have little children I need to feed and don't have a sink to wash dishes. Just got my new cabinets. Love them so far but waiting on my door pulls to come in. Working with Carmine was super easy. He was always available to talk to me and answer my questions honestly. There was some back and forth on the actual order but I was impressed that he got things changed quickly and took the time to answer my millions of questions about stuff. He also was good about taking my calls or calling me back. This was a much better experience than at the big home reno stores. And the prices were cheaper. I was a little leery about going with this store because they had some bad reviews but I think most of the time only bad reviews get posted. They are super busy and seem to be selling lots of kitchens so I'm taking the bad reviews as small percentage. My neighbor got her cabinets from them several years ago and she is still happy with the cabinets performance. This review is just on the sales portion of my kitchen redo. I really love the look of my cabinets. Where i had issue is with the installation techs and dealing with the store after the purchase of the cabinets. the vendor that they used tried to put back the time of install each time i talked to him. i finally got a secure date after speaking with the vendor as well as the agents in the store on numerous occasions. the vendors left my doors uneven and wouldn't change them after i pointed it out. they also didn't have the correct endcaps and put on 2 that weren't the same as the countertop. the tech said if he didn't put on all that was sent he'd get in trouble even though there were incorrect??? i called the office and spoke to Daniel, who i had been dealing with, who said he would get the correct end caps ordered and also get the techs to my home to correct the issues. but after speaking to him twice it never happened. even to this day. 6mos later. This is a small showroom in the same shopping center as Home Depot. The workers seemed nice. I honestly don't know if you need and appointment but there were 2 employees and attention was first come first serve. My remodel was in the works so a 2 week lead time wasn't preferred. Mike Brown was very helpful to the point of giving us both floor plans and 3D renderings of our layout based on our description. It seems like it took about 3 weeks for the cabinets to be assembled and shipped. We are very happy with the price and the quality. Excellent quality cabinets, questionable installers. Overall a decent experience but be prepared for the estimate given to you that you sign in the store to be incorrect..... by nearly $1300. Plus, ask about every little detail in the install process, this includes granite countertops. The 3" backsplash is not included in the price. I was never told this and now they want another $300. Meanwhile, I have cabinets half installed, base cabinets shimmed with scrap cardboard, and not level knobs. This is now going on day 4 of people being in my home all day. I purchased cabinets and quartz countertops from Cabinets to Go. The cabinets are great, the countertops are not. The quartz installed in my kitchen on May 2, 2022 do not match. I have two different quartz adjacent to each other. The difference is obvious. Cabinets To Go state that they are not responsible for the countertops even though they took my money and subcontracted it out to Stone Systems of Atlanta. I paid $7228 for the mismatched quartz. Stone Systems of Atlanta will not respond to my emails, and I can not get anyone on the phone that can help. Stone Systems of Atlanta got the quartz from Cosentino Center in Norcross, GA. Stone Systems of Atlanta claims that they are trying to get the paperwork from Cosentino in Norcross, GA. to show that the quartz came from the same slab. No one will provide this information, nor will they respond to me. Carmine at Cabinets to Go in Lilburn continues to say that they are not liable for the countertops even though he 100% agrees that the quartz does not match. My husband and I have been dealing with Cabinets To Go in Lilburn speaking with Carmine since the quartz was installed on May 2, 2022 with constant stalling. read more

He is endlessly patient in putting your designs together on the computer screen so that you can see it before you order it. I bought my cabinets from here. That went great Dana was great, helped with our design and and different things that could be added. That went well enough to buy the countertop their also. Big mistake they use Premier Surfaces and you get no returned emails they don't call. It was over a week to get a measurement and as of this 3 weeks with still no date of anything. I have call a couple of times and they are good at passing the buck. Cabinets worked out great. Countertops I wish I would not have gotten them here and don't know if I can get my money back. Update. We had an excellent experience with Cabinets to Go. After calling many cabinet companies in the area, I visited the showroom in Lilburn. Stephen helped layout our design. When they came to measure it was discovered I had made a major mistake. The staff worked with us to help redesign while keeping the price down. The order was placed that Saturday and the following Wednesday all of the cabinets arrived at their warehouse. The order was correct, the quality of the cabinets are great. Lilburn location: Store Manager rendered horrible customer service The prices are excellent in comparison to some of their competitors. Unfortunately, they are deserving of 1 star based on my experience. The failed to do the following: - Inform me that only 50% down was required for the counter top prior to proceeding with the payment process. After seeing the difficulty I was experiencing accessing my funds. Especially when its not my norm to spend that amount of money on any given day. The reasons why not do business with Cabinets to Go: - The failure to offer financing advertised on the website. Especially after seeing the difficulty I was experiencing accessing my funds. - Did not order required parts for cabinets (Lazy Susan Table) - The third part installation company had such poor workmanship. They had to return 4 times to meet my approval. - Next purposely miscommunicated the to countertop company the right information to delay the installation. It's not clear why the poor customer especially was render by the store manager. Unfortunately him stating "I'm sorry" was and is not a remedy to the failure to properly educate a customer about options available to them. read more

We had a horrible experience with CTG. Demo for our kitchen started on October 9 and just today November 22 we signed off for completion. Their third party installers blatantly lied to us several times about when they would be here and how their guys were so experienced and professional. Professional is not showing up without proper tools to do the job. They were asking us for proper tools. The whole thing was an experience I do not wish upon anyone. Go pay more for cabinets somewhere else because after they sell them to you good luck with the install! Also be prepared to receive damaged goods and then wait another week or two for a replacement. Then, they tried to charge us a 25% restocking fee on items that they substituted for what we ordered. When my husband and I met with Stephen and identified what we wanted it seemed great. We decided on what we wanted and we paid in good faith believing Cabinets To Go was being forth right on what they told us. To make a very long story short, they sold us a countertop that wasn't in inventory. We were told by Stephen it would be in a week later, than another week passed and we received the same story - it seems this was developing into a pattern. When I met with Stephen at their Lilburn location he told me they did not have it in inventory and could not provide any specifics (if and when it would be available). I called corporate while in the store and the customer service representative said it was in QC - how can an item be in QC when you do not have any in inventory. I requested to speak to a supervisor, it was to no avail. Unfortunately, they appear to operate on unethical guiding principles. Consumers please use caution when purchasing from this chain. Hopefully, you will not encounter untruthful statements and yelling at consumers, but it can and possibly will be demonstrated. Question extensively as to whether or not they have the inventory and potentially research on your own (the Lilburn location and corporate do not have the same information). Buyer Beware. Do your homework before signing anything. Picked out cabinets. Recd call night before "sale going off", you must give payment now. Did so and that was big mistake. Originally did not give "sale discount". Changed color of cabinets from white to dark brown. Never told difference in price. Had originally requested a Lazy Susan be installed. Never told there was not enough room, just "oh they forgot to send it" by install personnel. Never came back and said it would not fit. Just installed a smaller cabinet and left 2 foot of space empty and that you cannot use. Contacted store several times to dispute contract amount vs. estimate. Went into store with documentation of approx.$2500 difference in price. Pulled up info in computer and found cost was reduced by approx. 2400. Counter top people emailed day before yesterday we owed another 900. When in store, told 'Oh, we have to transmit the difference to the counter top place. You only owe extra 30 dollars. Next, brought up issue of lost under counter space. Response was "well you could have asked for different type of cabinet that would give you back that space". No one ever said one word about that. Was then told since I was brought up that losing that space was a bunch of crap and would just contact BBB, was told "I could have fixed that 5 minutes ago before you brought up BBB". So nothing got corrected. Install people constantly say they will be there, and something comes up. We are now 2 1/2 months with no kitchen and looking at another two-three weeks if we are lucky. read more

It took over 3 months to receive my cabinet order and this was a very painful process with no communication or updates along the way. Upper management is quick to place the blame on former employees and very slow to respond to inquiries. My friends at cabinet to go took such good care of me They were my advocate when premiere countertops gave me such a hard time. It took them a total of five to six weeks to put in my counter top. If it wasn't for my friends at cabinet to go in Lilburn, heaven knows how much longer it would have taken. As soon as I told them what a run around premiere had given me , the came to my rescue like the super heroes they are and took care of everything.
