Handle It did a super good job on my pull out shelves. Wayne came in and took measurements and came back about 1 1/2 weeks later to install. He arrived on time and was done in about 3 hours. I love my pull outs! All for a pretty reasonable price, too. I can't believe I waited so long to get these sliding shelves installed in my kitchen. It makes such a huge difference! No more stooping down and pulling out pots and pans to get to the one I need. The shelves move really easy in and out. I am very happy! Thank you, Wayne! read more

We recently purchased our first home, and I knew I needed some pull out shelves in the kitchen. I sent out requests for quotes on Yelp, Wayne responded quickly and was at my house for an estimate within a couple of hours. I was planning to get the entire kitchen done, but when I showed Wayne the cabinets he was honest about a few that he felt I would not be happy with (he basically explained that he could do them, but I would lose inches of storage space - inches I desperately need). I truly appreciated his honesty when he could have easily sold them to me just to make a deal. I took his advice and decided to add in the bathroom cabinets instead. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with the price - it was significantly lower than I expected. I did some research into DIY-ing and was shocked to learn that Wayne only charged a little more per shelf than I would have paid if I did them myself. The shelves were ready a week later, and he and his son came to install this morning. I purchased a total of 12 pull out shelves and install only took a few hours. They look beautiful, pull out smoothly, and I can't wait to move in and put them to use. Thank you, Wayne and family, for your professionalism! read more

Recently moved into our new home and after a few months realized we needed the slide outs in our cabinets. Researched several companies and called Handle It. Wayne came out to our home a few days after we called and we were very impressed with his knowledge and experience. Wayne gave us some very good ideas and we decided to go with him. A week later Wayne and Blake came out to install a total of 15 sliders in the kitchen and two bathrooms. The price was right what I expected to pay, and the installation was great. They came with many blankets to protect our flooring, and they cleaned up every scrap of dust on the floor. Very professional and the final product is fabulous. Recommend Wayne 100% for new cabinetry and sliders. We are very happy with the results. read more

Wayne was part of team that handled a kitchen and bath room remodel for us. Wayne installed new slow close slides on our drawers, new doors with hidden slow close hinges, new drop downs in front of sinks, and new handles on all the drawers and cabinets. He was honest, always on time, his work was neat, craftsman like, and sturdy. He recommended different sized handles for different sized drawers and cabinets and it really added a classy effect. The doors he helped my wife pick turned out to be just perfect for us. It's too bad we can only give him 5 stars because he deserves many more!!! **We worked with the Refinish Artist(Paul) to do the finish of the kitchen and bath as the other part of the team see my review. read more

We've been debating getting our pantry redone to have drawers instead of shelves because of how deep they are. Long story short, this was the easiest home improvement project my families ever had done. Wayne was so quick, efficient, affordable and reliable. I barely had to tell him what we wanted and before we knew it the project was done for a lot less than we anticipated. So grateful for a dealing with a business like this while I literally had a baby in the process. Thank you for making our lives so much easier! read more

I am willing to change this. I sent an inquiry months ago and never heard back. Could be it got lost in the shuffle. We need our new outdoor kitchen organized with pull out shelves. We also need a closet or two done both down and upstairs. Plenty of work for a company to respond to as well as, we can post on our Nextdoor blog a positive review that will get our neighbors a referral. read more

Why did I wait so long! I've lived in my condo for 8 years and have never liked the pantry...it was narrow and deep and very dark inside. I finally called Wayne over the Holidays and in early January my custom rollouts arrived! I couldn't be happier. Wayne was knowledgeable, friendly, and the product is excellent. I am able to put everything I have that SHOULD be in a pantry in my drawers and I have room to spare! read more

Super customer service.. punctual..products delivered and installed on time.. Wayne did a few extras for me, and fixed a previously installed pullout( not his) I would highly recommend him. His service, professionalism, and quality of installs ..EXCEPTIONAL! read more

I always hated opening up a cabinet and not being able to easily access items in the back. When we were thinking of improvements to our new home, we knew we wanted to install roll out shelves. We have quite a few deep cabinets and was concerned we would not be able to fully utilize the new space. I receive a quote from another company and this quote was far more reasonable. In addition, they showed up on time, installation went smoothly and the quality of the roll outs is fantastic. Now our cabinets are well organized, we can easily see all the items and no more wasted space. One of the best purchases for our new home. read more

Hello Everyone! I'll preface this review with; Wayne is an absolute professional at what he does!! I recently closed on my new home in Cambridge by Standard Pacific Homes, and I decided to not have the standard cabinet/door knobs installed by the builder. I wasn't 100% on doing so as I knew I would have to shop around aftermarket. However, now I am more than ecstatic about my decision. Just like many of you have done, I started to do my research on my options, and I ran across "Handle It." I read the reviews and felt really comfortable that I would request an estimate. From the moment I made the call to Wayne, I could tell that I was headed in the right direction. Wayne was thorough in explaining what the process would be, and we agreed to an appointment. The day of the appointment, Wayne was punctual and took his time on explaining the different options I could go with. My idea was to have a custom look with longer handles on the longer cabinets and draws. He was very patient in measuring every single cabinet and draw, and went through the different sizes with me, and also gave me his professional recommendations; which was exactly what I was looking for in a professional. Wayne submitted a proposal the next day, and his pricing was very competitive for the custom work that he was going to do. He was even generous to extend me a Military Discount. The day of installation Wayne was right on time and he first took his time with all of the prep work. He laid out all of the handles in line with where they would be installed, and confirmed that everything looked good and I agreed. He then did something that I wasn't expecting, he ensured all cabinets/draws where properly aligned, and he even made corrections to some of the poor work that the builders had done when installing the cabinets. Extremely meticulous, detail oriented, and worked as if it was his home. Perfectionist in my eyes!! Extremely satisfied with the final results!! I hope that this post helps you with your decision. I've already recommended him to some friends. Thank you, Wayne!! read more

Great product, works well, but more importantly great workman ship from Mr. Wayne Thornhill. This guy is a straight shooter, honest and reliable. Came to my house gave me a quote, we scheduled a date and day of installation he was prompt and ready. It has been approximately 2 months since he finished and everything is working as he said it would. Wayne you exemplify, what a professional should be....ohhh did l mention wifey is super happy....(Happy wife happy home....:) Thanks, Nick read more

Wayne just left my house.....was here promptly at 8 as he said he would be and just now finished up.......installed 9 slide outs....full extension...my wife is so happy!!! They work perfectly and we now can organize our pots/pans/utensils the way they should be. It will be a much more efficient kitchen. His prices were very good, quality of the shelves (real wood) was high, and his service was excellent. Even vacuumed the floor in kitchen and blew off dust where his saws were positioned on the porch....I am very impressed with his professionalism....and have no doubt that if we have any issues (none expected) that he will be prompt in handling them. If you are considering updating your kitchen, you would be remiss if you did not call Wayne for an estimate and a consultation on how to best "remodel" your kitchen. Questions? Respond and I'll answer....... read more

The good thing about crowd sourced review is the cream will always rise on the top. When I get good service or product I feel compelled to say something about it to help the community, for the seller to have more business and for the buyer to make an informed decision... as for the customer who needs their cabinet handles done CORRECTLY, I'll help you by saying that this guy Wayne is one of those subject matter expert that takes pride and passion with his craft. The experience shows as he explains the do's and don'ts, the why's and the how's. I suggest and highly recommend to ask Wayne to give you his honest opinion about which handles will look best with the color, style of the cabinet. He knows his craft and never afraid to tell you what looks best... and i'm so GLAD we listened. Very professional, insightful and helpful. Reasonably price for the amazing service that you get. read more

Such professionalism! Wayne was by far the easiest part of our entire kitchen remodel! We wanted to upgrade our cabinets with new hinges, and a few new drawers. After seeing the quality of Wayne's work, we ordered all new drawers, pullouts, and all new handles and knobs. I love everything he did! The dovetail, Birchwood drawers are BEAUTIFUL, and work so smoothly! Equally important was how great Wayne is to work with. Always in touch, on time, and NEAT! He went above and beyond, and actually found the perfect 'extra' door, so that he could create a new opening on the back of our island, giving us acess to previously inaccessible cabinet space. And he's a total perfectionist! I like that! read more

For all the services based business that I dont take the time to write a review, I have to write a review for this one... I hired Handle it over a year ago to install my rollouts & Lazysusan in my blind corner cabinet in my kitchen. The Pantry in which my rollouts were installed is a double drawer cabinet and held alot of weight per rollout. All thought the rollout outs worked perfectly, over time the softclose hinges started to not work. So I called Wayne back from Handle it and sure enough not only did he handle it he reinstalled and reinforced the hardware to handle more weight for the softclose hindges to work. In my review and honest opinion Wayne not only stood behind his work but he went above and beyond his scope of warranty and basically gave me a FREE upgrade because of the excessive weight I was holding in the drawers at no charge. I highly recommend Handle it for all your cabinet accessories and rollout needs. They are professional, on time and stand behind there work. Thanks Handle it!!! read more

Wayne is amazing!!! When we built our house we didn't want to go with basic cheap hardware from Lowes or Home Depot, we had Wayne come out he did all the hardware in our entire home. His prices were similar to what Lowes or Home Depot, except we had 100 times more options to choose from, plus he installed them! He upgraded cabinets and drawers for us with soft close and organization as well as custom trash cans. I highly recommend him, he's professional and clean and does perfect work. read more

If you're looking to install pull out shelves, look no further & call Wayne right now! Our kitchen desperately needed pull shelves, especially my deep cabinet pantry. For years I kept bugging my hubby, finally he relented and we started looking. To install them ourselves from Home Depot or Lowe's would have been crazy $$$! Wayne was professional from the get go, he was honest with us and explained how wood lasts longer than the metal pull outs. The day before he was to install the shelves, I told him that I would be expecting guest Friday evening. Wayne came over the next day early and he didn't stop till everything was installed - the man is a machine! He cleaned up afterwards and it was like he was never there. My shelves look like they came with the house. I fell in love with my kitchen all over agin. Thank you Wayne!! read more

We hired Wayne to install pull-out shelves in our kitchen based upon a recommendation from our cabinet refinisher - and what a recommendation it was! Wayne is reasonably priced, extremely professional and went above and beyone with extra's that I did'nt ask for, and was'nt charged for either! He straightened out all our cabinet doors, installed magnets so that the doors closed nicely, and added door bumpers so that they closed quietly. I would not hesitate one moment to hire Wayne! In fact, in a couple weeks, he's coming back to replace a drawer that I repaired 2 or 3 times over the years and looks terrible. No doubt it will look like new thanks to Wayne! read more

First we had two roll-out drawers replaced due to broken rails that were put in several years earlier by another company that has gone by the wayside. We also had rollout drawers placed in our very high cabinets . We loved the sturdiness of the new drawers much better. After another drawer broke, we decided it was time to replace them all - 16. Wayne did a wonderful job. He was professional, organized, clean and on time. We are proud to recommend Handle It to anyone interested in getting organized.
