I would like to start off this review by saying that Gerald is the absolute best person I have ever worked with on a project. That's saying a lot because my family moved into a brand new build back in 2017, so we have had many, many people come through for projects. What made my experience with Gerald so great was absolutely everything that matters. He was always on time, always responsive, always a perfectionist, and always pleasant (no matter how early in the morning or late in the evening he was working). I am known by those close to me as an extreme perfectionist. Gerald is the one person who absolutely never let me down with his work (although it could be more accurately described as art). I'm the type of person who if I see one thing that looks off, it will eat at me literally every time I pass through that room. Gerald installed tile and baseboards both inside and outside of my house and after walking through those areas countless times, I still have yet to see anything that doesn't look absolutely perfect. Aside from being an absolute master of his craft, Gerald is incredibly generous with his time. He treats every project as if the house he's working on is the house that his family comes home to everyday. For example, while I was doing a walk through with him after everything was wrapping up, I was ready to sign everything off and thank him for a job well done. Well, during the walk through, Gerald pointed out a couple of things that were bothering him and he vowed to come back the next day to fix them even though I didn't even notice anything was off. So, if I'm an extreme perfectionist, then I guess Gerald is in a class all by himself. Even after making those extremely detail oriented fixes, Gerald came back to patch things up on his own time and also to clean up the mess that some other installers left on their job. Specifically, they chipped a few of the baseboards that he installed and straight up took an entire corner piece off the wall. The look of horror on his face when he saw the damage they did to his perfectly installed baseboards said it all. The man looked like someone absolutely ripped his soul out. It really spoke to how seriously he takes his jobs and how much pride he takes in his work. I really wish this level of pride and passion were more prevalent in all people when it comes to their chosen professions. Overall, I could go on and on with reasons why you should go with this business and not even think twice. However, I will choose to end the review now and simply trust that my experience helped you in making your own decision. Gerald Oropeza, the owner of Go Tile & Flooring, is very courteous, reliable, and has excellent communication skills. I hired Gerald in early December 2021, to install roughly 1700 sq ft of vinyl planking. He was prompt to the job site, very clean, and respectful of the home's residents. The installation took 5 days from start to finish, including time required to pick up materials at a distant warehouse and the hassle of a heavy rainstorm. It was import that we hire a reputable licensed, bonded, and insured installer. Go Tile & Flooring's bid was very competitive and fair to both his business and us (customer). I think some customers may fear that pricing will sky-rocket if you hire a licensed, bonded, and insured installer. This is certainly not the case for Go Tile & Flooring and your are better off hiring a reputable company, than dealing with the potential consequences and hassles of a company that cuts corners and works under the table. We are very please with the final outcome. And should you encounter ANY issues (though I doubt you will), Gerald will go above and beyond to "make things right". Our project was to add laminate flooring to our home office and remove some old carpet. Gerald responded quickly, helped us color match some new flooring since the rest the house had older flooring that had been discontinued. I called and he asked questions and I received a bid. It was a huge job and we needed several straight cuts, one separating the living room and kitchen. Others I called couldn't say it could be done without chipping. Gerald sounded the most confident so I went with him. I cannot praise him enough! Gerald and his team were the best contractors we've ever worked with. And we've worked with many. We had about 1500 sq ft of 1.5 inch concrete tile that we wanted to remove and to install new tile. The work was done as promised dust free and on time. He and his crew stayed late on several days to ensure the timeline was met. The work was meticulous and very professional. We had concerns about removing the concrete tile since the crew would have to work around the cabinets in the kitchen. But Gerald and his crew did such an amazing job. Nothing was damaged. The new tile was about 1/5-3/4 inch but Gerald was able to install them and match the existing flooring level in the adjoining rooms beautifully despite the huge difference between the original and new tile thickness. read more

We recently had over 500 square feet of Saltillo tile removed from inside of our home. Gerald's team are certified DustRam technicians and they are excellent! When Gerald came to our home for the initial estimate he said that there would be very little dust throughout the process. I couldn't belive it could be true with this type of tile and the amount of tile we were removing. We watched videos of the DustRam system in action and decided to go with Gerald's team. I cannot say enough about how amazing they are! There was almost no dust when they were finished with the job and they did an excellent job of cleaning the cement below the tile in preparation for our new floor covering. The initial estimate for removing the tile was 2-1/2 days and they finished in two. They have an amazing work eithic, they are very thorough, they are clean, professional and kind.
