She intuitively picked out materials that appealed to us, including the tile, countertops, custom cabinetry, and fixtures. Along with Brian, the estimator, she came up with an ingenious use of the existing small space for an expanded walk-in shower and vanity area. Zoriana created a CAD rendering of the project, so we were able to clearly visualize what it will look like. Monks met our budget, and we are excited to proceed with the job. Gerry took our ideas, elevated them, and then turned it into reality. We really loved being able to see the 3D design concept. Andrew was helpful, responsive, and honest throughout the entire process. Darek completed most of the labor and he is a true craftsman with high attention to detail. We knocked down a wall, moved all the plumbing, and even had some challenging exterior brick work from filling in a window and it looks great. Our before and after photos speak for themselves! We shopped around before choosing NJ Kitchens and Baths & now that everything is finished, we're confident we made the right choice. Everyone else made us feel as though it would be a job they would have to squeeze in or barely gave us the time of day. A few gave us price quotes that were so low we knew that we would end up with huge surprise costs at the end, or so high that we figured they just didn't want to bother. We had no unexpected costs at the end of the project and everything ran right on time, which is essential when you're living without a kitchen for a few weeks! Located in the same plaza area as DSW and Nordstrom Rack, this World Market has a random set of…read moreitems for home decor. A staffer greeted us as we walked in. The pickup area is just a computer and the staff that pointed me out here was pleasant, and then we waited for a bit as they were all busy staffing the registers. Eventually another staffer came over and handled our pickup order but she seemed rather dour compared with the greeter at the door who was much more positive. Items in stock - check. Pickup - relatively smooth. Store did smell a little bit strange, but maybe it's all the random materials and items there (was looking at some brick wind chimes, wicker baskets and other decor). Definitely some challenges with quality control - some items were already chipped and cracked while on display, others looked great. I've been to another location and they were much better organized. Lots of furniture, though, so perhaps I'll have to dig more into that (though, yes, they are more expensive than Ikea, but less than Macy's). A nice thing around the holidays - various treats from around the world show up in stock that you can get to surprise as a little holiday gift for folks. I'll come back to see what else they have.
