    The centerpiece of our cabinets

They a amazing job. Our cabinets look brand new. We use them again and have recommended them to friends and family.

    Cynthia S.

I would highly recommend not using this company. Jesse Sr. is a very unreasonable man and doesn't understand basic business practice. Today I am filing a lawsuit against them for the cost of my cabinet doors and drawers (that they are holding hostage) and to retrieve my $3,500 deposit. I've spent the last week trying to reason with them but Jesse Sr. will not finish the job, nor will they return my cabinets to me. They have left me no choice. Here's the gist of the story - We had a small disagreement about what was included in their service and what a "factory finish" is and what the proper Prep is. I thought the filling of all holes, gaps and seams and sanding everything smooth was included because they list it on their website as their "Prep Process" and my contract specifically says "$300 to bondo and sand all holes smooth". But Jesse Sr. completely disagreed. His position is that the contract needed to say "$300 to bondo and sand all holes, GAPS, AND SEAMS". But, no biggy, miscommunications happen all the time, let's just resolve and move on, right? NOPE! You have to be dealing with a reasonable person in order to resolve disagreements. I'm limited in the number of characters, so here's the most important things for potential customers should know: 1). The things all other cabinet painters include as standard operating procedures are NOT standard with Cabinet Refinishers. 2). In order to achieve the "factory finish" they claim, there's a lot of work that's not included in the bid they give you. They don't actually do the process they list on their website as the "correct prep process", unless you specifically put that in the contract and pay extra for it. 3). You can't rely on Jesse Sr. to tell you any of these things in advance of paying your deposit. 4). If there's a disagreement about anything, you will have a hard time working out a solution with Jesse Sr, common sense, good business practices, THE LAW, and grace don't apply to him. 5). He said he as business insurance, but refused to supply the cert. Their website clearly states they are the best company because they do the proper prep before painting cabinets. It specifically lists one of the steps as: " Wood patching products (Bondo or similar) are then applied to any previously damaged surface area or deep graning, this will allow the final product to be smooth and consistent." See screenshot from their website. What Jesse Senior does not tell you before you pay the non refundable deposit is that none of that is included. You have to separately contract and pay extra to fill and caulk/bondo nail holes, gaps, seams and sand to smooth finish. As a homeowner, how am I supposed to know that? When I notified them of my dissatisfaction with their "factory finish" and that it appears no filling or sanding took place at all. Jesse Sr. immediately fought back and disagreed. He didn't politely disagree either... he raved, ranted and threw out many personal insults and eventually I had to block him from texting me because he just wouldn't stop his obnoxious behavior. Needless to say, there was no resolution that night and I told them we had to stop work until this was resolved. The next day I sent them an official letter suggesting some very reasonable options giving them option (all of which were going to cost me quite a bit of money). Instead of responding to the letter, they called the police and reported that I had stole their painting equipment! Who does this sort of thing? At this point, it's been over a week and they refuse to finish the project AND they refuse to return my cabinets to me unless I pre-pay the entire project in full (even though the final pmt is only due upon completion and they've only completed 15% of the job). They must be having money issues. One final important thing... during this whole disagreement process, Jesse Sr. agreed to do all the extra work for free, If I agreed to give them a good review regardless of all the krap they put me through. Looking at the reviews, I'm sure some of the other homeowners took them up on this offer.

We vetted several companies and decided to go with ASA Flooring for several reasons: 1) Responsiveness. Bryan was quick to get back to my inquiry and was at the house to assess the project within a day. 2) Knowledgeable. Our refrigerator had leaked and warped several boards. Bryan explained the pros and cons of board replacement vs letting the boards dry out. We went with the latter and saved money. We had another challenge in the fact that we did not have two rooms refinished which meant seamless color matching. Alfredo was an artist and had an eye for selecting the perfect match. Although the final decision was ours, his experience was a definite help. 3) Efficient. The whole process from start to finish only took three days. We used the opportunity for a little vacation in the mountains and came home to beautiful floors! 4) Professional. Kevin, the project manager, came the weekend before to assess the job site and answer any questions. Alberto hung plastic and taped off the areas to reduce dust and vacuumed any remaining dust before the final coat. It was nearly dust free! 5) Follow up: Kevin did the final walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied. I'd highly recommend ASA Flooring for your next hardwood floor project!

My husband absolutely loved how it came out, and I love that they do all the right steps to protect your floor and offer a lifetime warranty (they use epoxy and polyaspartic). It was also very easy to schedule the work with their team, and they offer several payment options. The work will take 2 days FYI and is also weather dependent. It was pretty cold (but not snowing) when they did our garage. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their garage floors treated!

Feeling sadistic and wanted to waste more of my time following up on the non-existent customer…read moreservice from your apparently horribly run company. Just to get an initial estimate for a project, I've contacted you repeatedly via email and voicemail, which weirdly goes directly to your owner's personal phone, but never with a response. To which I've clearly outlined what it is we need done in terms of refinishing our kitchen and bathroom tile, but to no avail. I've given approximate measurement of said space, thinking maybe our project is too small for your company, asking that you please let us know either way. Again, nothing. I work in the customer service industry, which, granted, isn't technically what you are, and I am willing to give a long leash to companies for being too busy and not GETTING this part of the whole communication process...to a point. But at this point you just seem like you don't care about the money or are too lazy or anti-social to give a simple yes/no response. Either way, you didn't get our money and we ended up going with another option. And that option is what I hope more do which is learning how to DIY. YouTube is very helpful and I encourage those with the time and means to learn basic stone refinishing themselves. It's relatively easy, but time consuming, and I would have always rather paid more to have it done by one of their "professionals." But here we are... Anyway, gotta love a learning experience you would've actually paid for.

I would not recommend this company…read more I chose them because the scope I discussed with the account manager included replacing my flooring and installing a new vanity I had already purchased. I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.
